Chapter 1761: Chapter 1763: The Wild Lion Clan

They want to push the First Prince to power, but as long as they haven’t succeeded for a day, they have no right to stand in front of Ye Luo!

”Stand up!”

Ye Luo waved his hand, signaling the generals of Three Stone City to rise.

And the few generals standing behind the First Prince naturally stood up as well.

But who knew, Ye Luo suddenly became furious!

”Did I tell you to stand up? Guards, arrest these people for me!”

At Ye Luo’s command, several Wolf Clan soldiers charged in and directly seized the generals from the Mad Lion Tribe!

”Stop, what are you doing?”

The First Prince was shocked to see Ye Luo arrest people without a word, and immediately tried to stop him.

Unfortunately, Ye Luo paid no attention to him.

”Hmph, in my Southern Territory, what is the punishment for defying military orders and colluding with foreign enemies?”

Ye Luo’s voice was heard, and a general immediately stepped forward to reply, ”Your Highness, according to the new military orders from Your Highness, those who defy military orders and collude with foreign enemies are to be killed without mercy!”

”Since that’s the case, then take these few out and execute them!”

The generals from the Mad Lion Tribe were all terrified; none of them had a rank higher than Chiliarch, only middle-level generals. When the First Prince arrived, they received secret orders from their clan and dared to appear here, ready to respond to the First Prince’s call and follow him with their troops!

But who knew, before they could act, Ye Luo ordered their execution!

”Royal brother, do you know what you are doing? These are generals of our Da Yue Empire. You do not have the authority to execute generals!”

The First Prince, angered, roared at Ye Luo.

But would Ye Luo pay attention to him?

”Ah, it’s elder brother. When did you arrive, why didn’t you inform me in advance? Wait a moment, elder brother, let me handle some matters first!”

”Guards, transmit my orders: in the Southern Territory and Western Frontier, expel the entirety of the Mad Lion Tribe from within our borders, whether they are civilians or generals, arrest them all and send them to the mines as laborers!”

What!

Faced with Ye Luo’s order, not only were the First Prince and his entourage astonished, but even those from Three Stone City and the Wolf Clan were extremely surprised!

Seeing no one move, Ye Luo frowned, ”What, do I need to repeat the order?”

The messenger was reminded and immediately responded, ”Yes, Your Highness, I will deliver the orders!”

Ye Luo nodded, then turned and said to Feng Ling, ”Saintess, I need a favor from you. Lead the Wolf Clan elite over and supervise this situation. If any Mad Lion Tribe members dare resist, kill them without mercy!”

Feng Ling smiled slightly, nodded, and walked outside, knowing that Ye Luo called him Saintess at this moment to intimidate the First Prince and his people!

After all, the Mad Lion Tribe’s strength cannot be underestimated.

Ye Luo’s move against the Mad Lion Tribe was bound to cause a significant stir, but if Feng Ling acted, it would be different!

Feng Ling represents the Sacred Temple, and no matter how arrogant the Mad Lion Tribe is, they dare not disrespect the Sacred Temple!

The First Prince was utterly shocked, he truly did not expect Ye Luo to be so domineering, not asking any questions and clearing the Mad Lion Tribe’s forces from the Western Frontier and Southern Territory!

It’s known that the Mad Lion Tribe has few numbers; the Western Frontier is Wolf Clan territory, infiltrating was already difficult, and although Southern Territory was somewhat easier, gaining substantial control was still improbable!

Ye Luo’s order to expel likely left the Mad Lion Tribe with no resistance!

Is this really the indecisive, carefree younger brother he knew, always wasting time in leisure?

Is this the same idle Third Prince?

At this moment, both the First Prince and his advisors were speechless.

Because they knew that Ye Luo’s bold actions indicated he was not afraid of them!

Yet, they were wrong in some respect; Ye Luo was still slightly concerned.

After all, the Mad Lion Tribe’s strength is formidable, and with Da Yue Empire facing external threats, Ye Luo indeed feared provoking them!

Moreover, Ye Luo does not intend to engage in direct large-scale conflict with the First Prince, as he has no idea what counter-strategies the First Prince might possess!

However, concern is not fear, and it would not cause Ye Luo to retreat.

Ye Luo has his reasons for these actions.

The Mad Lion Tribe ignores the Northern and Eastern Territories, coming specifically to the Southern Territory, and at a time when Ye Luo was away.

This indicates that the Southern Territory has already been heavily infiltrated by the Mad Lion Tribe, and there are likely many members within!

Ye Luo’s abrupt actions are intended to take members of the Mad Lion Tribe in the Southern Territory as hostages!

Sending them to the mines as laborers, instead of killing them directly, reveals this strategy.

Throughout the Southern Territory, Ye Luo estimates there are several thousand to nearly ten thousand Mad Lion Tribe members.

Ye Luo wants to see, with these people in hand, whether the Mad Lion Tribe would dare make any reckless moves.

Even if they dare to act out, Ye Luo will not fear them; at worst, it will be mutually destructive, so who fears whom?

Ye Luo wants to see if more people support him or the Mad Lion Tribe.

Moreover, there’s another factor often overlooked, which gives Ye Luo the courage to act.

That is, Da Yue Empire is currently facing invasion from the Demon King!

Why does this factor favor Ye Luo?

Because the Mad Lion Tribe wants to elevate the First Prince to power, seeking control over Da Yue Empire, aiming for larger authority!

But if the Empire falls, what use would their control and power be?

Therefore, Ye Luo is confident that even if the Mad Lion Tribe learns of his actions in the Southern Territory, their recourse would be limited to complaints before the Demon King or negotiating with others for Ye Luo’s release, yet they wouldn’t dare to clash head-on with Ye Luo!

...

Trying to play sinister games with Ye Luo?

They’re still too naive. Do they really think Ye Luo is easily manageable, to be toyed around with as they please? They’re thinking too much!

A series of thunderous actions directly ruined all the First Prince’s plans; now that Ye Luo ordered arrests, whatever plans the First Prince had could not be executed.

Ye Luo smiled slightly, then turned to the First Prince and asked: ”By the way, elder brother, I forgot to ask, why have you come to the Southern Territory?”
