Chapter 985: Chapter 985 Shaolin Temple Takes Action

Boom!

The terrifying light of the katana clashed with the wind blades, erupting in an intimidating force. The blond man staggered back three steps, his complexion turning somewhat flushed.

”You...”

The blond man, fixing his gaze upon the three with a face full of rage, was about to charge at them again when a sudden splurch sound was heard, and an arm bizarrely pierced through his chest cavity.

In that hand was still clutched the blond man’s heart, a sight chilling to the bone.

The man’s body stiffened, his pupils dilated showing an expression of disbelief.

Splat!

Then the arm was yanked back out of his body, and the Ability Alliance expert collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

These three Ninja Association experts witnessed the scene, their pupils constricting as they bore an extremely solemn expression.

Behind the blond man stood a towering Westerner with a grim face and bloodthirsty eyes, exuding a cold and dark aura. He stuck out his tongue to lick the blood off his palm, like a demon.

Soon, figures dressed in black robes, each exuding a dark aura, appeared around them wielding sharp blades, their attacks ruthless, like demons themselves.

All manner of cruel killing techniques were deployed in rapid succession. Within moments, whether it was Ability Alliance experts or Ninja Association ninjas, all were slaughtered.

This group was like a horde of demons from Hell, terrifying beyond measure.

”Are you from the Dark Council?”

Seeing this, the three Ninja Association powerhouses changed expression drastically, their eyes reflecting shock.

”You’re quite clever, but unfortunately, you’re all going to die!”

The burly Westerner let out a cold laugh, and with a wolf howl, he transformed into a terrifying giant werewolf, his body covered in fur, and his claws elongated.

Whoosh!

A sharp sound of something tearing through the air was heard as the werewolf lunged at the three, his claws drawing two phantom trails through the void, moving incredibly fast and with terrifying strength.

Crack, crack, crack!

Instantly, the katanas in the hands of two of the Ninja Association experts shattered, and the werewolf’s claws grasped their throats.

Squirt!

Squirt!

Two jets of blood sprayed out as the sharp claws tore their throats apart, causing blood to gush out and staining the werewolf’s body, making him look all the more ferocious, demonic even.

The last Ninja Association expert turned pale, not having time to think, he twisted and shot towards the distance.

Squirt!

Then the third squelch sound was heard, as the werewolf pounced, his claws swinging out once more.

That very moment, the Ninja Association expert’s body was brutally torn in half, the scene so gruesome and bloody that it was unbearable to witness.

Even Ye Luo, watching from thousands of meters away with his Clairvoyant Eye, couldn’t help but click his tongue in amazement. This werewolf truly lived up to the bloodline within him, just as cold-blooded and savage as a real wolf, utterly ruthless in action.

However, this werewolf was much more powerful than the four he had killed before, his strength alone comparable to a sixth level Huaxia Martial Artist of the Hua Yuan Realm.

After transforming into a real werewolf, his strength at the very least matched an eighth level of the Hua Yuan Realm, while those three ninjas only possessed the strength of the sixth level, naturally they were no match and were swiftly killed.

And those in black robes, each exuding a dark aura, struck with ruthless cruelty, like a group of demons from the darkness. The Dark Council was indeed terrifying.

By now the battle had completely ended, the members of the Ability Alliance and the Ninja Association were annihilated, all counter-killed by the experts of the Dark Council.

”Thinking of escaping?”

Suddenly, the werewolf snorted coldly, his body flickering as he appeared in front of the last surviving man of the Ability Alliance, with the Buddha Ancestor’s relic right behind him.

Bang!

Seeing the werewolf make his move, the man swung out with one hand, his body shimmering with golden light, revealing him to be a gold-element ability user.

As he swung his hand, countless gold-element abilities coalesced into an indestructible golden shield in front of him, protecting his body.

”Hmph, it won’t even withstand a single blow!”

Upon seeing this golden shield, the werewolf snorted disdainfully and once again swung out his right hand, now transformed into a wolf’s claw.

Boom!

The wolf’s claw struck the golden shield, causing an explosive reverberating sound, and in less than two seconds, the shield shattered. The werewolf’s claw ripped through the man’s chest, tearing it open and splattering blood everywhere.

His eyes bulging wide, the man fell to the ground, and the werewolf took a box from him. Upon opening it, the relics of the Buddha Ancestor were inside.

”So you demons hiding in the shadows have come out to commit evil again.”

Suddenly, a deep voice sounded, and five figures in white robes, their faces the picture of holy devotion, appeared again.

This time, it was the masters from the Western churches.

”Hmph, it’s you church folks getting in the way again!”

The werewolf’s bloodthirsty gaze was fixed on these five, and he coldly sneered.

”Hand over the relic, and we are willing to cleanse the darkness from your bodies on behalf of our Lord, wash away the killings, and have you become devout followers of our Lord.”

One of the five people in white robes fixed his eyes on the werewolf and spoke solemnly.

”Hmph, or you could join our Dark Council and together we can fall into darkness and relish everything!”

The werewolf’s face showed a hint of madness as he sneered coldly.

”Since you are unwilling to become followers of our Lord, then we have no choice but to judge you!”

The faces of these five people instantly turned grim as they coldly spoke.

Just as these five were about to take action, their expressions suddenly tightened and their gazes turned toward the darkness, where a group of monks with shaved heads appeared, led by the three Elders of the Arhat Hall, along with Zhi Gang.

”Esteemed guests, the killing has already been too great. We hope no more blood will be shed, and the relic is a sacred object of our Shaolin Temple, so please return it!”

The three Elders said with their hands clasped together.

”Hmph, once it’s in my hands, it’s mine. If you want it back, let’s see if you have the ability. Attack!”

The werewolf ordered coldly, and immediately the experts of the Dark Council, each holding a weapon, charged over.

”Retrieve the sacred object, go!”

Zhi Gang shouted coldly, and a group of Shaolin Temple experts wielding long staffs rushed out, and the two sides clashed.

Zhi Gang directly charged at the werewolf, launching a punch as if a meteorite was falling from the sky.

”Seeking death!”

The werewolf snorted coldly, and his wolf’s claw lashed out, clashing with Zhi Gang’s punch, producing a dull sound.

Zhi Gang stumbled back repeatedly, his face a bit pale.

”Kid, not bad strength, but still far from enough!”

The werewolf snorted in disdain.

”Arhat Palm!”

A buddhist chant resonated, and then in the air loomed the figure of an Arhat, a heaven-supporting palm print bearing down directly on the werewolf.
