Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 968: Chapter 968: Consort Xuan Ru

However, just as Ye Luo was about to completely remove this woman’s long dress, the woman suddenly opened her eyes and looked directly at Ye Luo.

Bang!

Ye Luo was immediately taken aback, and a hint of embarrassment crept in.

The two locked eyes, making the atmosphere in the room extremely subtle, especially given their current situation.

Ye Luo also felt extremely embarrassed. He had not expected this woman to wake up so quickly, especially at the moment he was about to undress her. This was indeed too awkward.

”Um... if I say I saw your clothes were torn and wanted to change them for you, would you believe me?”

After a few seconds of silence, Ye Luo said sheepishly to the goddess.

Whoosh!

A fierce killing intent burst out from the woman’s eyes, and with a wave of her hand, a terrifying force exploded forth.

Ye Luo, prepared for this, instantly activated Dragon Soaring Nine Heavens and swiftly dodged to the side. The attack slammed into the television, instantly shattering it and the table as well.

Fortunately, Ye Luo was quick on his feet; otherwise, he would have been done for.

Puff!

However, at that moment, the woman spat out a mouthful of fresh blood, her complexion turning pale.

Although she had regained consciousness, the injuries inside her body were severe and had not fully recovered. The exertion caused by her sudden movement triggered a relapse, so she vomited blood.

”Your wounds are not yet healed. It’s not suitable for you to exert yourself. I know some medical skills; maybe I could treat you!”

Ye Luo said from a safe distance as he watched the woman.

The woman just glared at Ye Luo with a cold, piercing gaze, as if he were her sworn enemy.

”Hey, I already told you I meant well by trying to change your clothes. I definitely didn’t do anything to you. If you don’t believe me, check your own body. You’re still a virgin.”

Ye Luo couldn’t help but blurt out as he looked at the woman.

Whoosh!

The woman gave Ye Luo another cold look and dismissed him with her eyes, causing Ye Luo to stop talking.

The woman then took out an elixir from her body. After consuming it, she waved her hands around, and a surge of soft, azure light began to flow from her, enhancing her healing.

Almost instantly, her damaged internal organs began to recover rapidly, healing significantly in the blink of an eye.

”Uh, since you’re healing, I’ll just leave now,”

said Ye Luo after a moment of thought.

”Give me your phone number.”

The woman suddenly demanded, reeling off a string of numbers.

Ye Luo wanted to just walk away, but opted to call the number after a moment’s thought. When the call connected, a delicate female voice answered, and Ye Luo immediately recognized it as Xuan Ruoyan, the auctioneer. It seemed these two women indeed had a complex relationship.

”Is this Miss Xuan? I’m Ye Luo. Could you come over?”

Ye Luo asked.

”Mr. Ye?”

Xuan Ruoyan sounded surprised upon hearing Ye Luo’s voice.

”There’s a woman here looking for you. What’s her name? She’s called...”

”Xuan Ruofei!”

The woman suddenly interjected.

”Her name is Xuan Ruofei!”

Ye Luo answered, and Xuan Ruoyan’s expression changed suddenly. She quickly asked for the address and then hung up the phone.

”It seems that you and Miss Xuan must be sisters!”

Ye Luo looked at Xuan Ruoyan and spoke indifferently, the names themselves suggested a sisterly relation, yet the demeanor of the two was strikingly different.

Xuan Ruoyan said nothing, quietly healing the injuries within her body.

”I made the call for you, so I’m going to leave now.”

Ye Luo said to Xuan Ruoyan before he turned to leave.

”Thank you!”

Xuan Ruoyan suddenly spoke, causing Ye Luo to stiffen in surprise. He hadn’t expected this noble woman to thank him — how odd.

”No need to thank me!”

Though Ye Luo still responded with a smile, her next words left him utterly stunned.

”However, since you’ve seen my body, I will definitely kill you!”

Xuan Ruoyan’s expression was cold, her voice chilling.

”Damn it!”

Ye Luo felt like a thousand cattle had stormed through his heart. Cursing under his breath, he quickly fled the area; this woman was truly unreasonable.

Tens of minutes after Ye Luo left, Xuan Ruoyan hurriedly arrived, opened the door, and walked in.

”Ruoyan!”

Upon seeing Xuan Ruoyan, Xuan Ruoyan called out and walked over quickly. When she saw Xuan Ruoyan wearing only lingerie and panties, her expression turned to one of surprise.

”What on earth happened? Weren’t you supposed to go to the Ji Family to seize the Divine Sword? How did you end up here? And what’s this about Ye Luo?”

Xuan Ruoyan looked at Xuan Ruoyan with a dazed expression.

Xuan Ruoyan recounted the events of the evening, leaving Xuan Ruoyan utterly shocked.

”I did not expect it to be so dangerous, fortunately, you’re unharmed. But do you really have to kill Ye Luo? After all, he did save you.”

”He saw my body, I must kill him!” Xuan Ruoyan said coldly, her eyes radiating a chilling gleam.

Xuan Ruoyan’s gaze flickered but she said nothing.

The next day, at Capital City International Airport.

Ye Luo, Duan Ningyu, and Shui Lanxin entered, intending to head to Macau.

After learning yesterday that relics of the Buddha Ancestor had appeared in Macau, Ye Luo had contacted Duan Ningyu, planning to go to Macau today, meet someone from the Five Elements Sect, and check out the Buddha Ancestor’s relics tonight.

An hour later, Ye Luo, Duan Ningyu, and Shui Lanxin boarded the plane to Macau.

On the plane, Ye Luo and Duan Ningyu were sitting together when a uniformed flight attendant approached them with a cart.

”Sir, may I offer you something to drink?”

The clear and pleasant voice sounded beside Ye Luo, who looked up to see a sweet-faced flight attendant smiling at him.

”A Coke, please!”

Ye Luo responded indifferently, but his mind couldn’t help but drift to Shangguan Xiner.

His first meeting with Shangguan Xiner had also been on a plane, in a similar scenario. She had already been away for nearly five months and he wondered how things were going with the Shangguan Family.

Though they hadn’t known each other long, their interaction had been quite positive and they were good friends. Now, faced with a familiar scene, Ye Luo was reminded of the great beauty, Shangguan Xiner.

What Ye Luo didn’t know was that at the very moment he thought of Shangguan Xiner, she was also thinking of him.

In a mysterious location in Huaxia, in the concealed stronghold of the First-rate Family of the Hidden Sect, the Shangguan Family lived in seclusion.

Inside one of the rooms of the Shangguan Family, a figure with long hair, wearing a white dress, sat quietly by the window, gazing at the scenery outside with a look full of melancholy and sorrow, her face burdened with heavy thoughts. It was Shangguan Xiner.
