Chapter 762: Chapter 762: The Guy Who Overestimates His Own Strength_1

Seeing this scene, the two women’s faces slightly changed, showing some discomfort, but after all, having spent a lot of time by Ye Luo’s side and being martial artists themselves, their mental fortitude was substantially stronger.

As for Yang Kun, witnessing this bloody and cruel scene caused his face to instantly pale, and he couldn’t help but start vomiting, his hand shaking while holding the gun. The howling Yan Zhenglong, seeing that utterly horrific scene, had his gaze freeze once again.

Ye Luo sheathed the Lingyun Sword and quickly walked over to Hei Zi and Hu Zi, taking out several elixirs from his person.

”Here, take these healing pills.”

Ye Luo said to the two men.

”Thank you, Boss!”

Hei Zi, with blood covering his face and a weak breath, said.

”There’s no need for that. You’re all my good brothers. You suffered for my woman; if anything, I should be the one thanking you,” Ye Luo said, looking at them with a hint of guilt.

”Boss, this is what we should do,” said Hu Zi solemnly, and then both of them swallowed the elixirs.

These elixirs were healing pills refined by Ye Luo, which had a faster and better effect than his simple acupuncture treatment.

Indeed, after taking the pills, the injuries on Hei Zi and Hu Zi quickly vanished, their previously weak auras returning to normal.

”Kid, who are you? How dare you kill my men?”

By then, Yang Kun had regained composure, hastily aiming his gun at Ye Luo, his face showing terror, his body trembling. It was clear that Ye Luo’s terrifying actions had shaken him.

Even now, his heart was filled with fear, gripping the gun tightly as if it was the only thing that could give him a sense of security.

Upon hearing Yang Kun’s words, Ye Luo slowly stood up, turned around, and looked at this man, a cold glint flashing in his eyes.

”Your men? So it was you who sent them after my brothers?” Ye Luo said coldly.

”Ye Luo, give this bastard a good lesson. Not only did this guy want to get our Mei Yue’s formula, but he also dared to want Jingxuan to be his woman. He’s simply despicable! And this damn guy even wanted me to attend to him. What a big jerk!”

Yan Ling said indignantly, glancing at Yan Zhenglong and then kicking out at him.

At this point, Yan Zhenglong, because of the massive amount of blood gushing from his broken wrist, looked deathly pale. Facing Yan Ling’s kick, he had no strength to resist and was kicked to the ground, his breath extremely weak.

”Wanting both the girl and the wealth, quite greedy, huh!”

Ye Luo coldly stared at the man before him.

”Kid, do you know who I am? You dare to speak to me like this and kill my men; you are dead today!” Yang Kun said to Ye Luo, his eyes coldly threatening.

”Is that because of the thing in your hand?” Ye Luo said, with a scornful smile on his lips, slowly walking over.

”You... don’t come any closer, or I’ll shoot!”

Seeing Ye Luo approaching him, Yang Kun instinctively felt a strong sense of crisis, his body shaking, gun trembling in his hand.

However, with a smile still on his lips, Ye Luo kept walking towards Yang Kun as if he was not afraid of the weapon in his hand.

”Die!”

Finally, unable to bear the increasingly intense fear inside him, Yang Kun violently pulled the trigger, a bullet shooting out violently toward Ye Luo.

At this sight, Luo Jingxuan and Yan Ling’s expressions changed, and their hearts tightened. Although they knew Ye Luo was formidable, seeing this scene still filled them with an inexplicable nervousness and worry.

”Haha, kid, this is what you get for opposing me, die!”

Watching the bullets shooting towards Ye Luo, Yang Kun burst into laughter, as if he had already seen the image of Ye Luo being hit and lying on the ground.

Let’s see if you can act tough now; let’s see if you die this time!

Yang Kun hummed triumphantly in his heart, but the next second, his expression froze, his mouth opened wide, and his pupils dilated, as if he had seen something unbelievable.

The bullet that was shot towards Ye Luo strangely disappeared, and the other party was still standing there, unharmed.

”How is this possible?” Yang Kun’s eyes widened in disbelief, while Yan Zhenglong, lying on the ground, also showed a shocked gaze.

At this moment, Ye Luo slowly opened his right hand, and a golden bullet lay in his palm, leaving Yang Kun and Yan Zhenglong completely dumbfounded as if they had seen a ghost.

”This is impossible!”

Yang Kun quickly shook his head, then glared at Ye Luo with ferocity in his eyes, and yelled, ”Kid, I want you dead!”

Immediately after, Yang Kun furiously pulled the trigger again, but this time, Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, and he flung the bullet in his hand instantly.

In the instant that Yang Kun pulled the trigger, the bullet Ye Luo flung from his hand miraculously entered the barrel of the gun, blocking it. Naturally, this resulted in the weapon backfiring.

With a bang, the gun exploded on the spot, shattering Yang Kun’s palm completely, blood splattered everywhere, and Yang Kun fell to the ground with a moan, his face showing a painful and ferocious expression, letting out a series of wails.

”You overestimate yourself!” Ye Luo’s eyes flashed with disdain as he coldly snorted.

”Kid, you... you’re dead meat, my Yang Family and the Hou Family won’t let you off!”

Yang Kun looked at Ye Luo with a face full of rage, his expression twisted in pain, his eyes filled with venomous hate as he stared at Ye Luo.

”The Hou Family?”

Upon hearing this name, Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, and a flash of different color crossed his eyes.

”Kid, scared now, huh? Let me tell you, my aunt is the second wife of the Hou Family, and my uncle is even the second master of the Hou Family. You’ve destroyed one of my hands, and I will chop off both of yours, make you feel worse than death, and then I’ll have my way with these two cheap women!”

Yang Kun yelled with a face full of madness, his expression somewhat maniacal.

Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed slightly, a hint of killing intent flickered briefly, and a cold smile curled at the corner of his mouth.

”So that’s how it is, no wonder you and that guy are of the same breed, the Hou Family really does produce ’talents’!” Ye Luo snorted coldly.

”I’m giving you a chance right now to call for people. After you’ve called everyone here, I’ll make you realize that your so-called status means nothing in my eyes. You still want to make me wish for death and assault my women? For that statement alone, you’re dead for sure today!”

Ye Luo’s eyes shimmered with a cold glint, mixed with a terrifying murderous aura.

”You...” Yang Kun’s eyes widened as he looked at Ye Luo.

”Are you alright?” Ye Luo didn’t pay any more attention to Yang Kun, instead he turned his gaze towards the two women.

”We’re fine, let’s just leave,” Luo Jingxuan said to Ye Luo.

”Leave? Why should we leave? This guy has bullied you and injured my brother. We can’t just let this go. And who is this guy?”
