Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 621: Chapter 621 Alice_1

And so, Ye Luo followed Xue Na and the four Saint Realm guards as they left the Royal Palace and started touring the scenic spots of Y Country, allowing Ye Luo to experience the geography and culture of Y Country. He saw many magnificent buildings and encountered numerous exotic beauties.

During this process, Xue Na seemed to transform into a lively young girl; her smile never left her face. Many citizens of Y Country recognized her, and she greeted them warmly, far from the aloof Princess she was usually perceived as.

In the blink of an eye, Xue Na had spent the entire morning playing with Ye Luo, appearing extremely happy.

”Ye Luo, look over there, there’s a performance!”

Ye Luo and Xue Na arrived at a place where a large crowd had gathered as if watching something, and Xue Na spoke to Ye Luo, pulling him into the throng.

Once inside the crowd, Ye Luo realized that there was a circus performing. All the performers were young boys and girls around fifteen or sixteen, executing various high-difficulty acts, which made Ye Luo worry for them.

Suddenly, with a loud bang, a blonde girl, who seemed to be only sixteen or seventeen, seemed inattentive and made a mistake. She dropped a prop, which smashed on the ground, and she fell as well.

Smack!

A crisp sound rang out as a red-bearded man, who appeared to be the circus owner, whipped the girl with a whip in his hand. The girl let out a scream, her face showing a painful expression.

”You useless trash, you can’t even get this simple task right; what use do I have keeping you?” The red-bearded man said, continuously lashing the blonde girl with his whip. Many people in the audience showed a look of sympathy but no one stepped forward to stop him.

However, at that moment, Ye Luo couldn’t stand it any longer. He rushed forward, grabbed the man’s whip mid-swing, and the man couldn’t pull it free after several tugs, growing furious.

”What are you doing?”

”If you keep hitting her, she could die,” Ye Luo said coldly.

”Hmph, she’s a slave I bought; what does it matter if she dies? It’s none of your business, let go immediately!” The man said disdainfully, giving the whip another tug.

Ye Luo waved his hand, and suddenly, the man, along with his whip, was sent flying into the air, grunting as he hit the ground.

”Are you alright?”

Ye Luo walked over to the girl and asked kindly. Her water-blue eyes looked at Ye Luo with a fearful expression, her body covered in scars. It was a pitiable sight.

”Don’t be afraid, it’s okay now,” Ye Luo said with a smile to the girl.

”Fuck, someone get him, beat this bastard up!”

The red-bearded man scrambled up from the ground, his face a mess, and yelled angrily. Immediately, a group of men from the circus rushed toward Ye Luo.

”Stop!”

At that moment, Xue Na suddenly spoke out, stepping forward.

”Your Highness the Princess!”

Seeing Xue Na, the man’s face changed instantly.

”Greetings to Your Highness the Princess!”

Following the man’s shout, everyone present recognized Xue Na and they bowed down, calling out to her.

”Do you realize what you’re doing? How can you treat a girl like this?” Xue Na’s face filled with rage as she saw the blonde girl’s wounds, which were not much younger than herself, and questioned the red-bearded man.

”I’m sorry, Your Highness, this is my fault. Please forgive me,” the man hastily said.

”What is your relationship with this girl?” Ye Luo’s eyes focused on the man as he spoke.

”I bought her for a thousand euros,” the man said, his expression filled with nervousness.

”I’ll give you double the money, and I want to take her away from here,” Ye Luo said indifferently.

”This...” The man’s expression showed some hesitation.

Instantly, Xue Na spoke sternly, ”Are you unwilling? Do you want me to have the police investigate you?”

”No need, no need, Your Highness, you can take her away directly, there’s no need for money,” the red-bearded man quickly shook his head.

”Come on, get up, I’ll take you away from here,” Ye Luo said to the girl in front of him, extending his hand with a warm smile on his face.

”Little sister, don’t be afraid, this big brother won’t hurt you,” Xue Na also came over and said.

The blonde girl hesitated for a few seconds before placing her small hand into Ye Luo’s and then slowly stood up.

”What’s your name?” Ye Luo asked the blonde girl.

”Alice!” the girl said timidly, her expression still showing some innate fear.

”Okay, Alice, we are going to take you away from here now. You can rest assured that no one will hit you again,” Ye Luo told Alice.

Ye Luo and Xue Na left with Alice, and among the crowd of onlookers, a man in sunglasses and a suit kept his gaze on Alice, his eyebrows slightly furrowed as he watched them leave.

Xue Na and Ye Luo took Alice straight back to the Royal Palace.

”Alice, let me treat the wounds on your body, don’t worry.”

Back in the Royal Palace, Ye Luo used his Nine Yang True Qi to heal the scars on Alice that had been left by the whip.

Then Xue Na had someone take Alice to take a bath, and she was dressed in a clean and beautiful dress, instantly making Alice look transformed.

Her complexion was pale and delicate, doll-like in cuteness, not at all inferior to Xue Na, only a bit slender in figure, clearly indicating her life had not been good previously and she had not been well nourished. But she was certainly a little beauty.

”Alice, you are really beautiful,” Xue Na said with a smile looking at Alice.

”Sister, you are also very pretty,” Alice finally spoke up to Xue Na.

”Where is your family, Alice?” Ye Luo couldn’t help but ask.

”My family is all gone,” Alice’s eyes revealed a sorrowful look, and her expression was somewhat sad.

Seeing Alice like this, Ye Luo felt a desire to cherish her, extended his hand to pat her shoulder, and said, ”Don’t worry, from now on I am your family.”

Just then, Ye Luo suddenly sensed something, his gaze on Alice narrowing as his eyes flashed with a hint of astonishment.

Under Ye Luo’s observation, Alice’s body contained a terrifyingly powerful energy. This energy was so daunting that even Ye Luo felt a hint of danger, but it seemed as if the power was asleep and had not been awakened.
