Peerless Divine Doctor

Chapter 612: Chapter 612 Betting on Big or Small_1

In Jack’s room, he was furiously smashing things, venting the rage in his heart.

”Damn yellow-skinned dog, I will not let you go,” Jack hummed coldly.

Just then, a knock on the door rang out, and Jackson said coldly, ”Come in.”

One of Jack’s subordinates walked in and said to Jack, ”Young master, the Princess has already left for the gambling hall with that man.”

”Gambling hall?” Jack’s eyes tightened, he thought of something, and a cold smirk appeared on his lips, ”Let’s go, to the gambling hall.”

On the third floor of this cruise ship was a huge gambling hall, with all kinds of gambling methods available. More than a dozen tables were neatly arranged, with numerous young men and women playing cards or rolling dice.

”This is our cruise’s gambling hall. Would you like to play a few games?” Xue Na asked Ye Luo.

”No need, I don’t have any money,” Ye Luo shook his head.

”No money? You can gamble with other things!”

Suddenly a chilly voice sounded, and Jack, followed by a group of people, walked straight in.

”Jack, what do you mean?” Xue Na’s brows furrowed slightly as she looked at Jack while Ye Luo’s lips curled up into a playful smile.

”Princess, my point is, since we’ve come to this gambling hall, why not play a few games? Or is it that this gentleman here doesn’t dare to gamble? Oh right, I’ve heard that Huaxia people are always cowardly. I guess this gentleman is no different.”

Jack’s cold laugh resonated, and the young nobles around him joined in, looking at Ye Luo with eyes filled with mockery.

Xue Na spoke with a hint of dissatisfaction, ”Enough, Jack.”

”Mr. Ye, let’s go,” Xue Na said to Ye Luo.

”Huaxia people really are timid cowards, aren’t they?” Jack continued to mock, his eyes filled with scorn and disdain as he looked at Ye Luo.

”Hold on,” Ye Luo suddenly interjected, his gaze teasing as he looked at Jack, ”Since young master Jack wants to play a few games, let’s play. It’s just that I don’t have any money on me.”

”I said, if you don’t have money, you can gamble with other things,” Jack’s eyes were triumphant as he looked at Ye Luo.

”Bet on what?” Ye Luo asked flatly.

Jack sneered, ”If you lose a round, you take off an article of clothing, until you’ve stripped off everything you’re wearing.”

”Jack, you...” Xue Na’s face changed, and she was about to speak when Ye Luo stopped her.

”Fine, what about you, young master Jack?” Ye Luo said with a composed expression.

”If I lose a round, I’ll give you a million US dollars. How about that?” Jack stood with his arms crossed over his chest looking at Ye Luo.

Ye Luo laughed, ”Your stake is quite tempting. I am short on money, and if young master Jack wants to give his money away, I am willing. What do you want to play?”

”To avoid you feeling bullied after losing later, you choose. There are more than twenty types of gambling here for you to pick from.”

Jack very generously made the offer, appearing very confident in himself.

”This guy actually dares to gamble with young master Jack, he’s probably going to embarrass himself big time.”

”That’s right, young master Jack’s family controls all of Europe’s underground casinos. He has studied various gambling techniques since childhood and is called the young Gambling King. Even many gambling masters cannot match young master Jack. This guy will probably start crying after losing soon.”

The crowd in the gambling hall looked at Ye Luo, each with an eager look of anticipation for a spectacle, clearly considering the gambling match to be a sure win for Jack.

”Mr. Ye, this Jack’s gambling skills are very impressive, let’s just forget it, he won’t dare to make things difficult for you,” Xue Na said to Ye Luo in a low voice.

”Thank you for your kindness, Princess, but since there’s nothing going on right now, I might as well have a good game with this guy.”

An enigmatic curve appeared on the corner of Ye Luo’s mouth; although he didn’t know much about gambling, he possessed the strongest cheating device for gambling—his Clairvoyant Eye.

With such a Clairvoyant Eye, no other sophisticated gambling technique stood a chance in front of him.

”Since Young Master Jack is letting me choose, I’ll go for the simplest dice game. How about it, Young Master Jack? Is that okay?” Ye Luo’s gaze shifted to Jack.

”Bring it on!” Jack said with some eagerness, and the two immediately approached a table that had two dice cups and twelve dice on it.

As soon as news spread that Jack was about to gamble with someone, a crowd of people on the cruise began to gather in the casino, causing a considerable surge in the number of people present.

The man named Fate also appeared and, after casting a glance at Ye Luo, watched the scene quietly.

”Let’s start. Twelve dice, six for each person, whoever rolls the higher total wins,” Jack said coldly as he slammed his hand down on the table, causing the six dice to fly up.

Jack grabbed the dice cup and swung it up into the air, causing all six dice to enter and shake crazily inside the cup, a movement that dazzled all onlookers, eliciting screams of excitement.

In contrast, Ye Luo appeared indifferent, leisurely picking up the dice cup and placing the dice inside one by one.

Finally, he kept moving the dice cup on the table, appearing like someone playing with dice for the first time, drawing a round of hearty laughter and contemptuous looks from the crowd.

”Is this guy playing for the first time?”

”I think so. I thought this guy chose dice because he had some skills, but it looks like he’s just showing off!”

The young masters from the powerful families of Y Country mocked him mercilessly.

Standing by Ye Luo’s side, Xue Na also looked somewhat anxious and concerned.

”Kid, it seems like you’re going to have to leave here naked pretty soon,” Jack said with an even broader smile, as he placed the still-shaking dice cup on the table.

”Alright, kid, have you finished rolling?” Jack asked.

”I’m done. Do you want to reveal your roll first, or shall I?” Ye Luo’s demeanor remained as composed as ever.

”Kid, I’ll show you my strength first,” Jack said, flipping open his own dice cup to reveal the six dice inside to everyone’s eyes.

Six, six, six, six, five, five.

That was a total of thirty-four points, a very high score that not just anyone could roll.

The crowd of young nobles praised Jack profusely, making him look proudly at Ye Luo and say, ”Kid, just give up gracefully.”

Ye Luo smiled enigmatically, opened his own dice cup, and revealed the six dice inside.

At that moment, Jack’s triumphant expression froze, and everyone around was stunned.

Six, six, six, six, six, five.

That was a total of thirty-five points, just one point more than Jack’s thirty-four.
