Chapter 474: Chapter 474 Ling Qingya’s Pain_1

”After such a big incident, how can you still sleep?” Yan Ling looked at Ye Luo, her eyebrows tightly furrowed as she spoke involuntarily.

”Ye Luo, don’t be too heartbroken. You still have us by your side,” Lin Xiaoyan said to Ye Luo, her face full of concern.

”What exactly happened? Can you guys clarify first?” Ye Luo was utterly confused.

Luo Jingxuan looked at Ye Luo with a solemn face and said, ”Just now, Ling Qingya held a press conference and announced the cancellation of your marriage arrangement. From now on, you no longer have any relationship with her, the Ling Family, or Ling Corporation.”

Ye Luo’s face changed instantly, his pupils shrank as he said, ”Are you saying this was announced by Ling Qingya herself?”

”Yes, it was at a press conference held by Ling Corporation. Now, probably everyone in Zhonghai knows. What exactly happened between you two that could lead to such a sudden turn of events?” Luo Jingxuan looked at Ye Luo with deep concern.

Ye Luo said nothing, got dressed, and walked out, driving towards Ling Corporation, his face somewhat grim and his eyes flickering nonstop.

Although Ye Luo knew that Ling Qingya would be very angry about his issue with Li Wanqin, he had never expected that Ling Qingya would go to such lengths. Was she trying to sever ties with him completely?

Without time to think more, Ye Luo drove to Ling Corporation at top speed.

”Boss!”

As soon as he walked into Ling Corporation, Ye Luo saw Xue Tu, Hei Zi, and Hu Zi standing in front of him, their eyes all flickering.

”Boss, what exactly happened between you and the president? How could such a thing happen suddenly? I also heard that even Manager Li has been directly dismissed, and you’ve been fired by the president as well.”

Hei Zi looked at Ye Luo, his eyes filled with confusion.

Ye Luo’s expression changed once again—Ling Qingya had fired Wan Qin as well?

Following that, Ye Luo walked directly inside, while Hou Dayong watched him with a cold, triumphant smile on his lips.

Taking the elevator to the twenty-fifth floor, Ye Luo was about to go to Ling Qingya’s office when he saw Li Wanqin carrying a cardboard box, looking dejected as she walked over.

”Wan Qin!”

Seeing Li Wanqin, Ye Luo hurried over to her.

”Ye Luo!” Li Wanqin looked at Ye Luo and gave a wry smile, her expression weary.

”Wan Qin, I’m sorry, it was my fault you lost your job. But I’m going to find Qing Ya now. You are innocent; you shouldn’t be fired over this,” Ye Luo said solemnly.

”Don’t go, Qing Ya is very angry right now. Speaking for me will only make her angrier. I’m already like this.”

”But I don’t want to ruin the relationship between you two. I would feel guilty for a lifetime. Try to mollify her; maybe she’ll cool down. Let’s not see each other for a while. I want to be alone,” Li Wanqin said in a resigned tone, then stepped into the elevator and disappeared from Ye Luo’s sight.

Ye Luo’s gaze flickered as he walked straight toward Li Wanqin’s office.

”I’m sorry, the president has said she doesn’t want to see you.”

Zhou Siqi suddenly stood in front of Ye Luo, her expression holding shades of complexity as she spoke, obviously also privy to the affair between him and Li Wanqin.

”Move aside!”

Ye Luo said curtly, pushing Zhou Siqi aside and heading directly into the office.

Inside the office, Ling Qingya sat in front of her desk, seemingly lost in thought, somewhat distracted. Seeing Ye Luo enter, her expression turned cold, her eyes shooting out an extremely icy light, so cold it was extreme, clearly indicating the deep pain and sorrow in Ling Qingya’s heart at that moment.

”What are you doing here? I don’t want to see you, we have no relationship anymore,” Ling Qingya said, her voice as cold as ice.

Looking at Ling Qingya’s expression, Ye Luo’s heart ached slightly, and his face took on a complex look.

”Qingya, no matter how much you hate me, blame me, it’s all fine, but Wanqin is innocent. You’ve always been one to separate personal matters from work, Wanqin hasn’t made any mistakes in her job, you can’t just destroy the career she has worked so hard for,” Ye Luo said, his gaze fixed on Ling Qingya.

”Really? Did I do something wrong? I treated her as my good sister, gave her such an important position, always felt she was the person I trusted the most. But what about now?”

”Knowing full well that you were my fiancé, she still conspired with you in secret. Has she ever considered me her sister? Do you expect me to do nothing and be forced to see the woman who seduced my fiancé day after day? Sorry, but I’m not that magnanimous,” Ling Qingya said with a cold laugh that was somewhat unsettling to look at.

Ye Luo frowned deeply, his gaze flickering, as he spoke in a heavy tone, ”Qingya, I told you, Wanqin is not some other woman. This is all my fault, please don’t take your anger out on her.”

”I know it’s all your fault. At first, I thought you were just a prodigal son of the Ye Family, a complete waste. Later, you started to change, and I thought you had really changed.”

”But now it seems that old habits die hard. Your philandering nature is still there. Here you are, about to become my husband, yet constantly deceiving me, hooking up with other women behind my back. All these are your doings,” Ling Qingya roared angrily, her eyes filled with deep pain as she threw a stack of photos onto the desk in front of Ye Luo.

Looking at the content of those photos, Ye Luo’s eyes narrowed, a glint of coldness flashing through them.

”You had someone follow me?” Ye Luo’s eyes flickered as he looked at Ling Qingya.

Ling Qingya let out a cold laugh, ”I’m not that bored. These were given to me by someone else. But I’m thankful for that person. Without these photos, I would have never known how much you’ve lied to me, how many women you’ve had behind my back. I was like a fool, deceived by you. Now I realize how foolish I’ve been...”

Ling Qingya’s face showed a piteous expression, her body trembling, tears streaming uncontrollably from her eyes, carrying a sense of despair and sadness, her heart already in shreds.

”I’m sorry! It was I who hurt you,” Ye Luo sighed, making no attempt to defend himself. He knew that Ling Qingya’s pride ran deep; she would never allow her man to be involved with other women.

Moreover, with multiple women involved, once this was revealed, it would surely hurt her pride and fragile heart. He hadn’t expected this day to come so soon, nor had he expected to hurt Ling Qingya this deeply.

”However, Qingya, I want to know if you really don’t care for me anymore?” Ye Luo suddenly fixed his gaze on Ling Qingya.

”I...”

Ling Qingya wanted to say yes, but facing Ye Luo’s gaze, she found herself unable to speak.
