Chapter 472: Chapter 472 Another Drinking Mishap_1

Ye Luo was helped up to a room on the upper floor where Situ Luoyun settled him onto a Tempur-Pedic king-sized bed and let him lie down.

Just as Situ Luoyun was about to leave, Ye Luo suddenly grabbed her hand and muttered, ”Don’t go... don’t go...”

”Ye...”

Situ Luoyun looked at Ye Luo with a complex expression on her face.

”Don’t leave me...”

With his eyes closed and out of his wit, Ye Luo called out, and with a tug, he pulled Situ Luoyun down onto him; she hadn’t expected such strength from him and was taken by surprise.

”Ye Luo...”

Situ Luoyun cried out in shock, trying to get up, but Ye Luo’s arms were tightly wrapped around her.

”Don’t leave me...”

Sincerely drunk, Ye Luo kept repeating as he breathed heavily with the smell of alcohol, clearly completely inebriated.

Situ Luoyun gazed at Ye Luo intently, her expression complicated as she looked at the face before her.

”I love you... don’t leave me...”

Once again, Ye Luo murmured, and Situ Luoyun shivered slightly, her eyes flickering. Feeling Ye Luo’s strong masculine scent, her face, already flushed, reddened even more, and her expression became somewhat hazy.

”You rascal, you’re just the same when you’re drunk,” Situ Luoyun said with a captivating smile as she looked at the face so close to hers without much annoyance.

She was clearly aware that Ye Luo was truly drunk. It’s often said that drunken words are sober thoughts, so the words Ye Luo now uttered were naturally sincere.

A woman delights in being courted, and even if it were a man she didn’t fancy confessing to her, it would make her happy, not angry. And what’s more, the man confessing now was Ye Luo, whom she did fancy?

”You scoundrel, you’re sweet-talking now; why didn’t I see you say these words normally?” Situ Luoyun said with a smile. Ye Luo, being drunk, couldn’t hear what she was saying; he continued to murmur while she didn’t mind and spoke to herself.

”Weren’t you quite proud before, always saying you would conquer me, pshaw! Now aren’t you just a drunk kitten? Come on, get up!” Situ Luoyun laughed joyfully, like a little girl who had finally gotten the toy she loved, thoroughly enjoying herself.

As night fell, Ye Luo slowly came to.

The alcoholic haze lifted. When he was completely clear-headed, he saw Situ Luoyun lying in his arms, holding him tight, and his face instantly changed.

Damn, what’s going on here?

Ye Luo replayed the previous events in his mind: he was upset about things concerning Ling Qingya, bumped into Situ Luoyun, went to her place to drink together, and then...

Damn it, it was the alcohol causing trouble again!

Ye Luo felt helpless, not expecting that what happened with Qin Wanting would repeat itself with Situ Luoyun.

Could it be that he always behaves like this when he’s drunk? It seems he really can’t afford to get drunk with women in the future; otherwise, it’s hard to say what might happen. Twice he got drunk, and both times it ended up like this.

At this moment, Ye Luo felt a severe headache, a very severe headache. He hadn’t even sorted out Ling Qingya’s situation, and now he had... he had incurred another debt.

Now he already had four or five women involved with him. If Ling Qingya found out about all of them, who knows if she would be furious to death.

Meanwhile, Situ Luoyun’s eyelashes fluttered slightly, her eyes slowly opening with a hint of enchanting springtime charm, her complexion flirtatiously flushed, and her eyes held a shy look as they met Ye Luo’s.

”That... um...”

Ye Luo, not knowing how to begin, looked at Situ Luoyun and felt extremely embarrassed.

”Pfft!”

Seeing Ye Luo in such an embarrassed state, Situ Luoyun let out a laugh, her expression not very constrained. She sat up directly and positioned herself in front of Ye Luo.

Previously, Ye Luo hadn’t properly appreciated Situ Luoyun’s body when he was drunk, but now his eyes took it all in.

”Does our Young Master Ye actually get shy? Why can’t you look at me, am I not beautiful?” Situ Luoyun’s coquettish voice rang in Ye Luo’s ear, accompanied by a teasing laugh.

”I’m sorry... I...” Ye Luo began, pausing to think. But before he could explain anything, Situ Luoyun already seemed to understand what he wanted to say. She put a finger to his lips, stopping him from continuing.

”Don’t feel embarrassed; all of this was my own choice,” Situ Luoyun said faintly.

Huh?

A confused look crossed Ye Luo’s eyes as he turned to Situ Luoyun. She pursed her lips, her gaze softening as she looked at him and spoke:

”I, Situ Luoyun, vowed to marry a strong, towering figure, and you’ve helped me several times, even defeating Situ Wentian. Naturally, you’re my best choice. In fact, that day when you accompanied me to the beach, I realized that I had fallen for you without even knowing it. Today, you just gave me the opportunity.”

Upon hearing Situ Luoyun’s bold confession, Ye Luo was a bit slow to react. Although he’d heard this declaration before, when he was at her place. He had even told her to wait and see, that he would eventually become the man she described and make her fall for him.

He just hadn’t expected that before he was ready, he had unwittingly met Situ Luoyun’s standards and without knowing it, she had fallen for him.

Wasn’t this like planting flowers with great care but failing to make them bloom, yet inadvertently growing a willow tree that cast a vast shade?

”What’s wrong? I’m a great beauty sitting in front of you; isn’t that a delight?” Situ Luoyun said, pouting as she looked at Ye Luo.

”I’m just a bit overwhelmed at the moment; I didn’t expect you to fall for me. But I...” Ye Luo’s expression grew complex as the image of Ling Qingya flashed through his mind.

”I know you have a fiancée, and there are many women around you. I don’t have any excessive expectations; I just consider you to be my man, Situ Luoyun. As for what you think, I won’t care about that,” Situ Luoyun stated boldly and assertively.

Ye Luo hesitated for a moment and then said, ”Don’t worry, I, Ye Luo, am not the kind of man who sleeps with a woman and doesn’t take responsibility. No matter what, since you’ve given yourself to me, I will be responsible for you. It’s just that I have some things to take care of lately. Once everything is sorted out, I will live up to my responsibility as a man towards you.”

”Mhm,” Situ Luoyun nodded, trusting her judgment and feeling confident that she hadn’t misjudged a man.

”I should go now,” Ye Luo sighed and said.
