Peerless Divine Doctor

”Ye Luo, this...”

The three ladies all witnessed this scene, and their expressions couldn’t help but change as Liu Xiner’s gaze turned to Ye Luo.

”Save me!” The woman spotted Ye Luo and ran straight towards him, but in no time, the men had caught up and kicked the young woman to the ground, beating her.

”We’ll beat you dead for trying to escape, and see if you dare to run away again,” the men cursed as they assaulted the young woman.

Bang bang bang!

The very next second, a series of dull thuds rang out as the men were sent flying, crashing heavily to the ground, spitting out blood.

Ye Luo walked over, his eyes flashing a hint of icy sharpness as he glared at these men.

”Miss, are you alright?”

Ye Luo turned his gaze to the young woman on the ground and helped her up.

She was very fair and lovely, with clear, bright eyes that now looked pitiable, evoking a sense of compassion in one’s heart.

”Big brother!” At this moment, the woman looked at Ye Luo as if seeing a family member, calling out affectionately.

”Young lady, are you alright? Who are they, and why are they after you?” Liu Shiyun and the other two ladies ran over, expressing their concern.

”I don’t know. They seemed to want to sell me to someone. I refused, so they beat me, and then I ran out here. They were so fierce, so frightening,” the woman said, trembling slightly, fear apparent in her eyes, her complexion somewhat pale.

”So they’re human traffickers; we absolutely can’t let this group of people go,” Liu Xiner said indignantly.

Meanwhile, the men had stealthily gotten up, attempting to leave, but with a move, Ye Luo floored them once again.

”Miss, what is your name, and where is your home? We’ll contact your family right away,” Liu Shiyun said to the woman, looking at her.

”Family? I don’t know; I don’t know anything,” the young woman said, holding her head and shaking it, her expression pained.

”Ye Luo, she seems to have amnesia,” Shi Yanran said, looking at Ye Luo.

Ye Luo stared intently at the young woman, placing one hand on her wrist. After a check, indeed, he found that the girl’s brain nerves had suffered trauma.

”How is it?” Liu Shiyun and the others looked at Ye Luo.

”Her brain nerves have indeed been injured, which likely caused her amnesia,” Ye Luo said calmly.

”Ye Luo, can you treat her?” Liu Shiyun couldn’t help asking.

Without answering, Ye Luo promptly took out a silver needle and inserted it into the young woman’s brain area, gently twisting it.

”Miss, do you remember anything now?” Ye Luo’s gaze remained fixed on the young woman as he asked.

”Zi Yun... Zi Yun... Ah!!”

The young woman murmured to herself and then suddenly let out a scream of agony, her face contorted with pain.

Ye Luo quickly withdrew the Silver Needle, asking with concern, ”How do you feel?”

”I only know my name is Zi Yun, but I can’t remember anything else,” the young woman said, her face pale as she shook her head.

”What do we do now, Ye Luo?”

”If that’s the case, we can only rely on our great people’s police,” Ye Luo said indifferently.

In Zhonghai City, at the police station, in a room, Ye Luo, Shi Yanran, and the three other women, along with the young woman, sat there.

The door of the room was soon opened, and Yang Bingning walked in.

”How is it? Did you find any information about her?” Ye Luo asked Yang Bingning.

Yang Bingning shook her head, ”We have checked based on the name Zi Yun and her appearance. She is not on the list of trafficked people nor on the list of missing persons, and there is no record of her in the national population registration.”

”How could this be?” Ye Luo and the others frowned.

”Captain Yang, can we find any clues from those traffickers?” Liu Shiyun spoke up.

”I have already questioned them. They found this woman in a forest, and after realizing she had amnesia and couldn’t remember anything, they were tempted by greed to abduct her and plan to sell her to another region to make a quick profit. They know nothing about this woman’s information as well.”

”What do we do now? She really is pitiful,” Liu Xiner said with a touch of sympathy in her eyes as she looked at the woman in front of her.

Yang Bingning replied indifferently, ”According to the regulations, we can only send her to a shelter for now, and let her return home once her family is found.”

”This...” Ye Luo glanced at the young woman, and seeing her helpless and bewildered expression, he felt somewhat reluctant, but there was no other option.

”Why not come to my house? We have plenty of space, and it doesn’t matter if we have one more person. Zi Yun could also keep me and my sister company,” Liu Xiner suggested.

Ye Luo’s eyes lit up, ”That’s a good idea.”

As a prominent family in Zhonghai, the Liu Family certainly had no trouble taking in one more person. And with the care of the Liu sisters, there likely wouldn’t be any problems for the girl named Zi Yun.

”No, I want to be with Big Brother, I want to be with Big Brother.”

Suddenly, Zi Yun stood up, ran to Ye Luo’s side, and clutched Ye Luo’s hand tightly, looking at him with a hint of affection.

”This...” Ye Luo was taken aback and didn’t quite know what to do; the other four women in the room were also a bit stunned.

”Zi Yun, come live with us at our house. We’ll take good care of you,” Liu Xiner approached Zi Yun and said.

”No, you are all bad people, bad people; I want Big Brother,” Zi Yun clung to Ye Luo’s hand and refused to let go.

”Zi Yun, I...”

Ye Luo was about to speak to Zi Yun when she looked up at him with her big watery eyes, filled with helplessness.

”Big Brother, don’t you want Zi Yun anymore, wuwu... Big Brother, I don’t want to live with anyone else, they’re all bad people, all bad people,” Zi Yun said, starting to sob uncontrollably.

At that moment, Ye Luo didn’t quite know what to do, having never expected Zi Yun to be so affectionate towards him.

”It looks like you really do have a way with women; even an amnesiac girl wants to cling to you,” Yang Bingning said with some speechlessness as she looked at Ye Luo.

”What should we do now, beautiful Yang?” Ye Luo asked with a wry smile.

”I don’t have a good solution right now. By the looks of it, apart from you, Zi Yun is not going to stay with anyone else,” Yang Bingning said with a slight frown.

At this moment, Liu Shiyun’s lips parted slightly, ”In that case, Ye Luo, why not you take care of Zi Yun? Since you know medicine, maybe you could help Zi Yun recover her memory more quickly.”

”This... isn’t quite appropriate,” Ye Luo said, feeling somewhat troubled.
