The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 984: Chapter 379: Interstellar Escape Livestream (Part 3)

”Damn, this guy is so weird, he actually chose a surgical knife?”

”Exactly, is he trying to give up voluntarily? Such a small knife, can it protect him or kill prey?”

”Maybe it’s to attract attention? Look, we’ve all been drawn to his livestream, haven’t we?”

”...You make such a good point, I’m speechless.”

Some netizens were quite surprised by He Hongtian’s choice, and they all entered his personal livestream room.

On the public screen, dozens of netizens chatted intermittently.

He Hongtian took the surgical knife, and the familiar feeling that permeated from his bones made him unable to resist spinning it with his fingers.

A small yet sharp surgical knife was spun and danced by a few fingers, with cold glints flashing across, giving a unique aesthetic sense.

”Holy shit! This guy’s fingers are so nimble.”

”Can a surgical knife be played with like this?”

”Could this guy be a doctor, one who specializes in playing with surgical knives!”

”...I’ve found out! I can hardly believe it, but this death row inmate was once the Empire’s most excellent surgical hand!”

”That was in the past. Now we have Healing Chambers, who still does surgery!”

”Oh, it’s because of the Healing Chambers. Star Network Thousand Degrees said this doctor named He Hongtian couldn’t handle the gap in reality and gave up on himself. Eventually, it led to his family being broken up, and he even killed his ex-wife without any remorse!”

”Damn! What a big scumbag!”

”No wonder he was sentenced to death, he deserved every bit of it!”

”Just now, I thought he looked decent, unlike those vicious criminals!”

”...Hmph, they’re all death row inmates from high-security prisons, none of them are any good!”

”Suddenly I feel like if this guy gets bitten to death by an Exotic Beast, or gets slaughtered by another ’adventurer’ as prey, it might not be too bad!”

”Yeah, yeah! I want to see what kind of deserved end this wolf in human skin will face.”

”Huh? This livestream doesn’t seem that negative after all!”

With the netizens’ heated discussions and this strange ”interpretation”, He Hongtian, a seemingly ordinary death row inmate, attracted dozens of viewers on the first day of his livestream.

Unlike some infamous villains or once-famous figures, whose livestream rooms are as bustling as some traffic streamer.

However, He Hongtian wasn’t paying attention to the online activities. What he needed to do now was to survive.

Desperately complete the escape mission and obtain clemency in the end.

After playing with it for a while and familiarizing himself with the touch, He Hongtian put the surgical knife away.

He wore the sportswear provided by the show, sports shoes on his feet, and had no other items, then followed the group as arranged by the show for airdrop.

Yes, airdrop!

And the landing point is random.

This prevents the scenario where, at the start of the livestream, over a hundred people land on the ”Adventure Park” all at once and start fighting each other before taking more than two steps.

Adventure streaming doesn’t object to ”adventurers” killing each other, but they also don’t deliberately create such opportunities.

After all, the focus of their streaming program is ”adventure”, not slaughter.

Adventurers can acquire items and rewards by killing their own people, but they can also earn rewards by discovering the secrets of Adventure Park or hunting Exotic Beasts in the park!

Each issue they choose a different Adventure Park. Some might just be newly discovered Primitive Planets, while others might be experimental planets ravaged by energy explosions or genetic crises.

Although these places are full of dangers, they also hold resources and secrets needed by humans.

If adventurers can discover some useful information for humans or find new energy sources, they can receive rewards from the Empire and the Federation.

They might even directly receive a pardon and attain a certain level of honor.

If at the start, people from the same Starship are put in one place, it’s neither beneficial for them to spread out and explore the entire park nor does it prevent a large number of them from getting killed at the start.

If there are no people, or not enough of them, what kind of livestream can the show run?

The netizens and fans wouldn’t like it either!

He Hongtian watched as the people in front of him disappeared one by one from the Starship cabin entrance, and soon, it was his turn.

Leaving the Starship, He Hongtian experienced a strong sense of weightlessness.

Then came the fall.

The Smart Bracelet promptly activated the anti-gravity function.

He Hongtian’s whole body seemed to be dragged by a force, slowly descending to the ground.
