The Female Lead Decides to Act Wickedly

Chapter 952: Chapter 368: My Sister Is Reborn (Part 12)_2

So, she might become a giant baby, not because she wants to be lazy, but because she’s truly obsessed with painting?

When this realization hit her brain, He Tianxin suddenly felt her entire worldview was about to be overturned.

She also experienced a deep sense of powerlessness and faint guilt.

It seems she misunderstood her sister. In their previous life, her sister was so ”unbearable” not because she was a bad person but because she lacked talent.

In this rebirth, He Tianxin came with a full load of resentment and even treated He Tiantian as the number one enemy.

This seems somewhat inappropriate.

He Tianxin shook her head vigorously to shake off these chaotic thoughts.

Why feel guilty?

I was truly harmed by her in the previous life, and I should feel guilty?

Furthermore, if there’s no talent, don’t do useless work.

Diligence can indeed make up for shortcomings, but in certain fields, having no talent and refusing to give up is a dead-end.

He Tiantian’s own ruin could be considered, but dragging the whole family down to hell with her was a mistake!

He Tianxin desperately convinced herself, and the slightest feeling of guilt vanished completely.

Later, He Tiantian’s act of ”willfulness” further aroused a sense of crisis and disgust in He Tianxin!

”Tiantian, you, you want to buy this painting?”

He Tianxin accompanied He Tiantian at the art exhibition for two days and saw her finally leave behind some oil paintings without lingering. She thought her sister’s fanaticism had passed.

But then, before He Tianxin could be happy for two seconds, she heard He Tiantian point to a painting that He Tianxin couldn’t understand at all and say, ”Sis, this painting is good, I want to buy it!”

Comes again!

Here it goes again!

In their previous life, He Tiantian squandered the He Family’s fortune not only by hyping her own works but by engaging in so-called ”investment”!

Indeed, art trading can be an investment.

Sometimes, if successful, it can grow by hundreds of thousands of US Dollars a year, with returns even higher than business.

But, the art market is too complicated; He Tiantian, just a novice, is no match for those capital big shots.

After a few investments, buying some indescribable ghost talisman drawings, He Tiantian didn’t wait for the painting’s price to rise, instead, it fell into her hands.

Now, He Tiantian has talent and truly loves painting.

But, she wants to engage in some art investment again, He Tianxin can’t really stand it.

”What’s good? Colorful and chaotic, can’t even tell what’s drawn. It’s not even as good as you draw!”

He Tianxin wasn’t intentionally praising He Tiantian; she was just trying to persuade her not to mess around.

”Indeed, not as good as mine. But, it’s still not bad!”

He Tiantian was not at all modest; hearing her sister’s words, she actually nodded in agreement.

Even though she praised herself and belittled others, she still wanted to buy the painting.

Not because she liked it but because she wanted to pick a bargain.

He Tiantian looked at the introduction next to the oil painting, with her gaze falling on the painter’s name.

Arthur!

A painter from Spain.

Currently, he’s almost unknown, and this work is not his peak creation.

The price is about one thousand euros, equivalent to ten thousand yuan.

He Tiantian felt it was extremely worthwhile.

Because she knows this surrealistic painter named Arthur will win the Silver Lion Award at next year’s Venice Biennale.

Once awarded, investors and collectors will praise him.

Arthur will almost become famous overnight.

His works will rise along with it; a watercolor piece auctioned for a hundred thousand euros.

What He Tiantian saw now is an oil painting, surely it can go ten times higher than watercolor!

He Tiantian silently calculated in her mind that once Arthur becomes famous, selling this painting will cover all her expenses for learning to paint in the coming years.

It might even be enough for her to study abroad!

”Besides, the price isn’t really high!”

He Tiantian doesn’t even need to ask her parents for money; over the years, she saved up pocket money, New Year’s money, and the ”inheritance” given to her by Grandma, Grandpa, and Grandma in their final days. Her bank card has thirty to forty thousand yuan.

He Tiantian brought it all out on this trip.

It’s just buying a painting; there’s completely no problem.

He Tianxin:...

She genuinely didn’t agree with He Tiantian spending money recklessly.

But, since she’s not asking her parents for money, instead using her own little savings.

He Tianxin really has no stance to oppose.

Alright, alright, just let it be this time.

If He Tiantian wants to engage in art investment again and uses their parent’s money, she will intervene in time!

Closing her eyes, He Tianxin didn’t say anything as He Tiantian swiped her card to buy the oil painting.
