Help! Five Beast Alphas Want To Breed Me!!(BL)

Koda;

”If you do not tell me what I want to know, I swear by the Goddess herself, I will not forgive you. Not for this. Not ever.” I conclude, and that finally hits him as he stares at me with stunned, wide eyes.

His shoulders fall. And when he speaks, his voice is quieter than I have ever heard it.

”Fine... I’ll tell you...”He begins, and I told my arms as I ready myself for this.

”It began when I first started building Beast Heaven...” He starts, and I wait.

”There was a man...my most loyal aide. Gorlois. He was... Brilliant. Strategic. Loyal. He was at my side from the beginning. He helped me build Beast Heaven into what it is today. I trusted him with my life.” He narrates and stops to swallow, as his fists clench at his sides.

”At that time, witches and warlocks were... disliked... Worse than they are now... They were... feared. Witches and Warlocks had a reputation for causing trouble. For... using magic to cheat and manipulate beastmen. Hence, there was a strict, unwritten rule that everybody lived by. They were not welcome. They were to stay far from us, and we were to stay far from them.” He continues, and a cold pit forms in my stomach as I get a sense of where this is going.

”One day,” Father speaks again after a long breath,

”I discovered the truth. That my aide... my trusted friend... the man who had helped me build everything... was a warlock.” He whispers as he lifts his gaze to mine.

There is pain there. Pain and shame, and it only twists the knife of discomfort deeper into my stomach. What did he do??

”I cast him out,” he then blurts.

”Without a word. Without explanation. Without hesitation. I cast him out of my castle... and my kingdom.” He breathes, and my chest tightens.

”When the truth spread, chaos followed. If my right-hand man was a hidden warlock, then who else was hiding among us? The people panicked. They started searching. They searched and found more witches and warlocks in disguise. More than we could keep records of.” He says and stops. As if the story ends there.

But I know it doesn’t.

”Father... What happened to them?” I ask, even though I already dread the answer.

He closes his eyes, and I bite my lip in fear.

”A massacre,” he whispers, and air gets knocked out of my lungs.

”They were dragged out. Killed. Burned. Cast out. And...my people... left Beast Heaven to hunt witches and warlocks outside our walls. They destroyed their camps. Slaughtered entire families, shed blood because they felt insulted that they had been infiltrated and fooled by witches and warlocks...” He says with heaviness in his voice, and my breath stops as my hands fall from my chest.

”And you didn’t stop them!?” I demand in disbelief, and he draws a shaky breath.

”I... I was consumed by betrayal. I was angry beyond reason. I let it happen. I let my people do what they believed was righteous. I believed...” He speaks but stops to swallow hard.

”I believed they deserved it.” He adds, and for a long moment, there is no sound. Not from him, not from me... not even from the birds outside.

The only thing I can hear now is the faint ringing in my head.

”So this...” I say hoarsely.

”All of this... this attack... the slaughter... Gravemaw being destroyed... Mother losing her beast... Elián being in danger... this is revenge?” I question, and Father bows his head.

”Yes.”

I stare at him. Not as my father.

But as a flawed, terrified man who had no idea what he had unleashed.

”I trusted you,” I whisper.

”I thought you were... infallible. The man who always knows what to do. The man who always protects us. The man with all the answers.” I croak as tears cloud my eyes.

He looks up at me. His eyes are wet, but I don’t give a shit about his pain right now.

”But you’re not,” I add as I shake my head slowly.

”You’re just a man, after all. A flawed man. A cowardly man. And a man whose decisions have cost us almost everything.” I spit

”Koda...”

”No.” I step back from him.

”You don’t get to explain. You don’t get to justify. You don’t get to ask for understanding. Because you didn’t give any to those witches and warlocks. And now, because of that, we are paying the price!” I scream, and for the first time ever, I see a streak of tears escape his eyes.

”I regret it.” He croaks, and I scoff.

”Regret will not bring Mother’s beast back.”

”Regret will not rebuild Gravemaw.”

”Regret will not ensure Elian’s safety.”

I speak without giving him from to, and there’s just... Silence.

I stare at him, feeling something inside me break.

”I am disappointed in you, Father”, I confess softly.

”More than I even have words for. I expected more from you. I really did.” I add.

He opens his mouth to speak, but I don’t let him.

”Those warlocks and witches came to BeastHeaven because they trusted you. They came to you because they believed in your course of unity, and you handed them death in broken plates and forced it down their throats. ALL BECAUSE THEY TRUSTED YOU,” I spit, and he stares at me in silence.

”When you go outside... and you see the ashes... when you see the children turned orphans, Wives turned widows, husbands turned widowers... When... When you stare into Mother’s eyes and see how broken her soul is, when you hear the woman who’s always filled with laughter cry... When you stare at the sons who almost died fighting a war you started... I way you remember...”

”This is all your fault, Father. It is all because you decided to make enemies out of people who ought to be our allies. Some King you turned out to be.” I finally add before staring him down, and without another word, I storm out of the hall.

Out of the room where everything I thought I knew about my father died...
