Cultivation Simulator: Starting From The Empress' Palace

While Chen Mo stopped to treat Zhao Qianyi’s wounds.

Some Loulan soldiers had already informed Yue Yuxi of what happened in Ao County.

Tuoba Han brought twenty thousand men, and even though Chen Mo broke through them, they couldn’t have slain them all, there were always some who slipped through.

When Yue Yuxi learned that a Song army had directly penetrated their territory, killing Tuoba Han on the spot and taking Zhao Qianyi, she, already incensed, flew into a rage.

She immediately mobilized the Loulan garrison from several major cities around Ao County to encircle this Song army and personally led her own personal guard towards them.

She wanted to personally slay the leader of this Song army to vent the anger within her.

Meanwhile, on Chen Mo’s side, after he had dealt with Zhao Qianyi’s injuries, the Loulan army from the large cities around Ao County was heading towards Ao County. Sensing the direction the Song army was leaving, they immediately notified the Loulan army in that direction to prepare to encircle Chen Mo and his group.

...

Chen Mo didn’t lead Zhao Qianyi far before they encountered a band of Desolate Kingdom barbarians, who seemed to be scouts sent by the Desolate Kingdom. Chen Mo, holding Zhao Qianyi’s long spear, charged at them single-handedly, and easily broke through them, rushing all the way south.

Along the way, they faced multiple intercepts from Desolate Kingdom squads, which, although they didn’t harm Chen Mo and his group, delayed their retreat and gave the Desolate Kingdom army time to arrange an ambush.

Before long, Chen Mo and his group were intercepted by a Desolate Kingdom army numbering in the thousands.

The wind and snow swept through the wilderness, Chen Mo’s long spear in hand moved like a dragon probing the sea, easily toppling the enemy cavalry trying to block their path off their horses, scattering the gun formation ahead, their speed unabated, charging right through over three thousand enemy troops, their formidable momentum scaring the enemy troops from standing directly in their path.

Of course, since Chen Mo and his group were merely retreating, they merely broke through an opening and did not go on a killing spree among the remaining enemy troops.

Chen Mo also realized that these people were just trying to delay him, they needed to break through before the encirclement formed.

Sure enough, by the time it was getting dark, when Chen Mo was planning to return the way they had come, the opening was already barricaded, and forcing their way through would cost a heavy price.

Chen Mo chose to take a detour.

”Stop them.”

”Release arrows!”

The Desolate Kingdom troops at the checkpoint clearly also spotted Chen Mo and his group, immediately ordering to shoot them with arrows, but didn’t send anyone in pursuit, preventing Chen Mo and his group from turning around for an attack.

Thud thud thud...

The crisp sound of hooves echoed through the bloody night.

With the intense jolting, Zhao Qianyi, even if she wanted to feign unconsciousness, found it hard to. She opened her eyes, pretending to be startled awake.

Chen Mo didn’t notice she was pretending. Seeing her awake, he directly turned her around with one hand, facing him directly, and said briefly, ”Princess, it’s good you’re awake, hold onto me tightly, don’t fall off the horse.”

The previous position somewhat affected Chen Mo’s maneuverability.

Because when Chen Mo was fighting, he had to prevent Zhao Qianyi from falling off the horse due to the jolts, which was manageable with small enemies, but should they face a First Grade Martial Artist, his combat power would plummet.

Now, by holding her face-to-face, he didn’t have to worry about this anymore.

Although this position was a bit odd, like sitting lotus style.

Especially now with Zhao Qianyi wearing light clothing, her entire body was pressed against Chen Mo, sticking closely, even her clothing was pressed into two flattened lumps.

Recalling being pressed by Chen Mo upon the white mounds and kissed by him, Zhao Qianyi’s gaze suddenly grew dazed, a strange feeling grew within her heart.

However, given the urgent situation now, she couldn’t let herself think too much, obediently holding onto Chen Mo’s waist to prevent being jolted off the horse.

”Princess, hold tight. Giddyup.” Chen Mo squeezed the horse’s belly, increasing the speed.

With the horse’s jolting, the wound that had been medicated and had begun to heal ruptured again, the blood staining both their chests red.

”Kill...”

Once again enemy troops appeared ahead to obstruct them, Chen Mo didn’t waste any words, wielding the long spear, he charged forward.

The snow-covered ground was left with trails of corpses.

After multiple intercepts, Chen Mo’s cavalry unit was significantly reduced.

Thud thud thud...

Horse hooves clattered crisply on the frozen ground, after racing dozens of miles non-stop, even the best horses couldn’t maintain full speed, they felt tired and needed rest.

Now they had slowed down several times from their initial sprint, both horse and rider were heavily panting, their hearts beating like drums.

Zhao Qianyi placed her chin on Chen Mo’s shoulder, her complexion slightly flushed, holding onto Chen Mo tightly, the horse’s jolts had them constantly rubbing against each other, her inner thighs too, bringing Zhao Qianyi feelings she had never experienced before.

In such an urgent time, she shouldn’t feel this way, but the sensation on her body surged up within her mind, and once she noticed it, it was uncontrollable, her body’s instincts were beyond her control.

And this sensation, it intoxicated her, making her forget the pain her wounds brought.

Coincidentally, Chen Mo was so handsome, and also her savior, causing her to feel no revulsion at all.

Luckily, the biting cold wind kept her sober, though Zhao Qianyi felt a bit uncomfortable, she managed to hold herself back.

The speed of the horse ahead was slowing down, going like this, they would be caught by those chasing behind sooner or later.

Plus now it was dark, although the night didn’t affect them, it did affect the horses, in pitch darkness, horses easily lost their way.

”Gao Zheng, take the Princess and go first, I’ll hold them off.”

Chen Mo intended to hand Zhao Qianyi over to Gao Zheng, to let him escort Zhao Qianyi.

But at this moment, he realized Zhao Qianyi was holding onto him tightly, face flushed, body burning, the place his hands touched was very moist, like...

Chen Mo blinked, showing a bit of surprise.

The main thing was, her wound couldn’t withstand jolts anymore.

Stopping his previous actions, he said, ”Gao Zheng, you go first, if Weiqiu and the others are smart, they should come pick us up now. I’ll buy you time, hold them back.”

”Sir, you take the Princess and go first, I’ll stay behind with the others.” Gao Zheng said.

”Go when I tell you to, no more nonsense, this is an order. The Princess and I are a smaller target, which makes it easier to escape.” Chen Mo said.

”...Understood.” Gao Zheng hesitated for a moment, then left with the others, though he looked back every few steps.

Chen Mo raised his hand to motion them to continue speeding away, his Snow Dragon Steed didn’t stop, and when passing through a forested area, Chen Mo, holding Zhao Qianyi, leapt away, reaching behind a large tree, placing Zhao Qianyi down and leaving Tianwen with her for protection.

”Princess, stay here quietly.” With that, Chen Mo wielded his long spear and jumped onto a tree by the roadside, ready for the attack.
