Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1448: Chapter 1462: Who’s Involved?

She still remembered the last time when she went to the movie set with Xiao Xiao, unexpectedly finding it so interesting to watch others acting, especially when she and Xiao Xiao took several photos clad in movie costumes; now the screen saver on Mu Xingfeng’s notebook was that photo.

Speaking of this, An Ran saw Luo Jingjing’s originally bright eyes dim down, as she lowered her head somewhat embarrassed to conceal her emotions.

”Sorry Miss An, I might have disappointed you; the Mu Group has arranged other female artists for the advertising shoot of other products. I don’t have any acting gigs lately and can’t invite you to the set to have fun...”

”Arranged other artists for the shoot?” An Ran remembered that Yin Qianxue previously told her that she was signed by the Mu Group as their sole spokesperson, implying all Mu Group’s ads were to be shot by Yin Qianxue.

On that day at the ad shooting site, she clearly mentioned that she was terminating the contract with Yin Qianxue on behalf of the Mu Group and appointing Luo Jingjing as the sole ad spokesperson for the Mu Group.

Luo Jingjing nodded, ”I’m a newcomer at Jiawen Entertainment, the Mu Group not only has a heavy advertising workload but also a significant influence, perhaps the company was concerned about my lack of experience affecting the ad impact, so they made such a decision.”

Knowing the relationship between the big boss of Jiawen Entertainment and the Mu Group, Luo Jingjing spoke with great tact.

When Luo Jingjing said these words, she never lifted her head, and although An Ran couldn’t see her expression, she knew things were not that simple and without wasting time, she waved directly to Sun Wangbei in the distance.

Luo Jingjing saw An Ran’s intention and quickly stopped her, ”Miss An, what are you doing? This matter has nothing to do with President Sun.”

”If it has nothing to do with President Sun, then who is it related to?” An Ran raised an eyebrow.

She obviously knew it had nothing to do with Sun Wangbei, for being the big boss of Jiawen Entertainment, there were art directors and managers in various departments, a general manager beneath him; how could he be involved in every matter?

Luo Jingjing watched An Ran with flickering eyes, knowing that if she didn’t clarify the situation today, An Ran wouldn’t let it go, she finally spoke out regarding her agent pushing her down as the Mu Group spokesperson for other artists.

”Heh~” An Ran let out a cold snort, ”Didn’t imagine Yin Qianxue would go to such lengths for being the top artist at Jiawen Entertainment.”

Or perhaps, she went all out for the sole spokesperson position at the Mu Group too; previously she had personally seen Yin Qianxue frequenting hotels with the Mu Group’s advertising manager, and now it’s the agent dealing with Luo Jingjing; how many more shameful dealings like this were occurring behind her back?

And yet such a person even dared to covet Mu Xingfeng?

Just the thought of her husband being targeted by such a promiscuous person made An Ran disgusted.

”You don’t need to handle this matter anymore, in the past I was careless, it was just a verbal agreement without the Mu Group preparing a contract, allowing them to exploit the loophole.”

An Ran wasn’t very concerned about that matter originally, as long as it wasn’t Yin Qianxue as the Mu Group spokesperson; but hearing Luo Jingjing’s words and considering her situation at Jiawen Entertainment now, she thought of her own past at the An Family, prompting her to change her mind temporarily.

Luo Jingjing was moved upon hearing this from An Ran, yet she knew that two advertisements for the Mu Group had already been completed, changing spokespeople midway would mean all prior work and investments were wasted.

”Miss An, actually you don’t need to feel troubled about...”

Luo Jingjing hadn’t finished her words when a person suddenly appeared beside them.
