Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1143: Chapter 1157: Throw Them Out

Lin Ruonan touched Gu Haoyu’s eyes full of concern and shook her head, ”No, Brother, it’s just...”

She looked guiltily behind Gu Haoyu, who also turned his head.

Xu Jiajia pouted in grievance when she saw Gu Haoyu looking at her, ”Brother Gu, it’s this woman, she spilled coffee all over me.”

”That’s not right, Miss. This lady was clearly drinking plain water, while you and Mrs. Li were drinking coffee. How could she have spilled coffee all over you? If I saw correctly, it was Mrs. Li who threw that cup of coffee at this lady, causing it to spill all over you, right?”

Lili didn’t expect that this woman turned out to be the boss’s wife. Seeing the BOSS’s anxious look, she knew how important the woman was to him. She had long been displeased with Li Meihua and Xu Jiajia, but since they were guests, she couldn’t say anything.

There was a glass wall between the reception room and the front desk, so she could see everything clearly. Seeing Xu Jiajia slander the boss’s wife, Lili stood up to speak.

”You’re talking nonsense. She was the one who splashed water on us first,” Xu Jiajia opened her mouth to deny.

”Exactly, she splashed water on us first, that’s why I thought of teaching her a lesson,” Li Meihua followed up in agreement.

”When was it your turn to teach my wife, Gu Haoyu’s wife, a lesson?”

Before Lili could speak, Gu Haoyu swept a gaze as sharp as a blade over the two women, and his voice was frighteningly cold.

”Li Meihua, I’ve said before, the Gu Family does not welcome you. Please do not bring irrelevant people to my company again, otherwise don’t blame me for turning hostile. Assistant Qi, notify everyone that if this woman steps into the Gu Family one more time, have her thrown out immediately.”

”Haoyu...”

”Brother Gu...”

Li Meihua and Xu Jiajia spoke at the same time, with tears welling in Xu Jiajia’s eyes, looking pitifully at the man. If it weren’t for her sorry state, she would indeed be quite pitiable.

Yet at this moment, with her ghostly makeup and the dress soaked by the coffee, it felt like even a ghost would look better than her.

”Assistant Qi!”

”Yes,” Qi Wei responded and gestured for two security guards to come over, directly pushing the two women out.

Gu Haoyu watched the two being thrown out, his cold aura lingering for a long time.

Using a coffee cup to hit his woman, Li Meihua was truly bold.

Fortunately, Ruonan had a special forces background; otherwise, it wouldn’t be as simple as just throwing these two women out.

Lin Ruonan gently tugged at the man’s sleeve, looking at the group of executives behind him, ”Brother, do you have something to do? I can wait a bit longer.”

Hearing the woman’s voice, Gu Haoyu finally withdrew his gloomy aura, a softness spreading in his eyes, ”No worries, it’s just noon, I’ll take you to lunch.”

The group of executives behind him: ”...”

Is this really okay, BOSS? We were supposed to go sign a contract, and it’s a billion-dollar deal!!

Swoosh swoosh swoosh

Qi Wei felt numerous gazes locked on him. Looking at the pleading eyes of the executives, he could only brace himself and step forward. Perhaps the BOSS was so happy to see the boss’s wife that he really forgot about the contract.

Yes, it must be so. The BOSS is not the type of irresponsible boss; he has always been sincere and keeps his word.

”BOSS, the signing ceremony with BIYA Company is about to begin.”

Gu Haoyu seemed not to hear the voice from behind, his eyes fixed on the young woman, ”What do you want to eat? I know of a great French restaurant. Want to try it?”
