Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 1141: Chapter 1155: The Woman Behind the Sofa

The foundation was a millimeter thick, with water stains running down her cheek, revealing some of her real skin.

The dark skin was dotted with freckles, and one false eyelash had fallen off, hanging on her eyelid.

Xu Jiajia has always been sensitive about her appearance, never showing herself without makeup. Now, her meticulously prepared makeup was ruined by this woman, how could she face Brother Gu?

Even if she couldn’t face Brother Gu, she couldn’t let this woman have her way.

Xu Jiajia learned nothing else abroad, but she got into quite a few fights with those punks, so she thought dealing with a woman was more than enough.

Seeing Xu Jiajia’s hands with painted black nails reaching for her face, Lili, who was about to announce her entrance, screamed in fright.

Lin Ruonan lightly dodged aside, avoiding her attempt, causing Xu Jiajia to lose her balance and fall onto the sofa.

The black leather sofa was smeared with a layer of white foundation.

Li Meihua was furious seeing Xu Jiajia suffer a loss.

This was her dear sister-in-law, doted on like an apple of the eye by the old family members. If she got bullied on her watch, how could that be?

She picked up the coffee in front of her and threw it at Lin Ruonan.

Lin Ruonan, quick and agile, flipped over the back of the sofa.

”Bang,” the coffee cup hit the wall opposite, shattering, and the coffee inside spilled entirely onto Xu Jiajia, who was lying on the sofa, scalding her and making her scream painfully.

”You little bitch, dare to dodge, see if I don’t tear your skin,” Li Meihua shouted, rushing forward.

”Stop it!”

A man’s cold voice suddenly resounded, and Li Meihua raised her hand with the bag in it, turning to see a man with a gloomy expression at the door, along with a group of executives coming out of the elevator behind him.

Li Meihua seemed to see her lifeline, with tears welling up in her eyes, ”Cousin, Haoyu, you’re here, if you hadn’t come, your cousin here would’ve been bullied to death by that little bitch.”

Xu Jiajia also climbed up from the sofa, tidying her disheveled dress and coffee-stained long hair, walking up to Gu Haoyu, ”Brother Gu, it’s me, Jiajia, you have to stand up for me, look at how I was hit.”

Gu Haoyu pinched the bridge of his nose, and Assistant Qi, perceptive as ever, stepped forward, ”Miss Cousin, you see, President Gu is entertaining clients now, if you have anything, tell me, I’ll handle it.”

You should know, behind the BOSS are important clients from the Asia-Pacific Region, and the cooperation case decided upon after a whole morning’s meeting was about to be signed; it cannot be affected by this cousin’s commotion.

”Who do you think you are to handle my affairs?” Li Meihua glanced disdainfully at Assistant Qi, stepping forward to pull at Gu Haoyu’s sleeve, ”Haoyu, you know, the Xu Family has only one daughter, and the Xu family elders coddle her like their eyeball, afraid of melting in the mouth, afraid of falling when held high, now she’s been hit in your company, shouldn’t you give an explanation?”

Gu Haoyu finally looked squarely at Xu Jiajia, seeing her ghost-like face, his disdain even more obvious in his eyes, ”Here I only see you two, do your sister-in-law fight require my company to be responsible?”

”No, Brother Gu, it’s not me and Sister-in-law fighting, it’s the woman behind the sofa, she’s hiding back there, afraid to come out,” Xu Jiajia stepped forward to grab Gu Haoyu’s arm, but he subtly dodged.
