Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 611: Chapter 624 Ren Shuang

”Really, really, if I’m lying, I’m a puppy.”

An Ran chuckled. She had actually been missing Xiao Xiao a lot these past few days. They used to be best friends and have known each other for many years. Although she had been recovering with Mu Xingfeng in the Guard Team these days, they were only together at night.

During the daytime, while she was alone at home, she was constantly thinking about school.

The school year had just started, and she took a week off immediately, facing the upcoming departmental division and numerous school matters.

A few days ago, Xiao Xiao called her and mentioned the division of majors, saying that things would get more intense academically once the majors were allocated.

Xiao Xiao didn’t dwell on the topic and accompanied her back to the dormitory to drop off her luggage.

As soon as An Ran entered the dormitory, she noticed that the spot previously occupied by Sun Beibei now had fresh bedding.

Xiao Xiao immediately commented, ”This Guo Xinyi’s family really spoils her. After Sun Beibei, that sycophant, dropped out, her family immediately arranged for someone else to move in. The new person on that bed is Ren Shuang, who transferred from C University. I heard she’s Guo Xinyi’s mother’s distant relative.”

”You sure know a lot,” An Ran said as she placed her backpack on the bed, not bothering to unpack. She picked up her lunchbox and followed Xiao Xiao out the door.

”It’s hard not to, you have no idea. Ren Shuang came in showing off her authority,” Xiao Xiao spoke about the new roommate with obvious hostility.

”She came into the dorm imposing herself, saying this thing is some brand from her aunt, that thing costs so much, and telling us to be careful with her stuff. If anything’s damaged, not everyone can afford to compensate. By the way, that ’aunt’ she always mentions is actually Guo Xinyi’s mother. And supposedly, the relation is quite distant.”

After saying that, Xiao Xiao sneered.

There were just six of them in the dormitory: Wang Xiaoyi and Shen Qi, both from mountain areas, An Ran and Xiao Xiao, who didn’t come from wealthy families. It’s easy to imagine how off-putting Ren Shuang’s behavior was.

”Oh, and all the cosmetics on the bathroom sink are hers. Make sure not to touch them, or you’ll cause trouble. A few days ago, Shen Qi accidentally knocked over one of her skincare bottles while brushing her teeth. The cap wasn’t even tightly closed. It’s like she was waiting for someone to knock it over.”

”Then what happened?” An Ran asked.

If Ren Shuang had already warned everyone on her first day, knocking over her things must lead to serious consequences.

Shen Qi was the most low-key person in the dorm, rarely interacting with everyone. Judging by her clothing, her family wasn’t well-off.

”Then?” mentioning this made Xiao Xiao even more irritated, ”That bottle was already half-used. Shen Qi barely spilled a bit, yet Ren Shuang made her buy a whole new bottle from a specific counter. Shen Qi had no choice but to do it. These days, she’s been living on just steamed buns, too frugal to buy any dishes. Probably spent her entire living allowance on that bottle of skincare.”

”Seems like this Ren Shuang is even more domineering than Guo Xinyi,” An Ran couldn’t help but sigh.

Although Guo Xinyi was the Guo Family’s eldest daughter and looked down on the roommates, she was rarely in the dorm. She hadn’t interacted much with them for half a semester.

Most matters were handled by Sun Beibei on her behalf. Even though Sun Beibei eventually got expelled, An Ran knew she had taken the fall for Guo Xinyi.

”Yeah, truly. By the way, Guo Xinyi is also on leave these days. I heard her grandmother passed away.”
