Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 607: Chapter 620 Abandoned Chapter

In the living room, An Ran opened a bag of potato chips and absentmindedly stuffed them into her mouth while watching the man tidy the refrigerator.

The refrigerator was a double-door one, and in An Ran’s eyes, this man could do anything.

But his cooking skills were quite lacking, whereas it was precisely her hobby and strength.

If there was a moment she felt the most satisfied with them being together, it was when she saw Mu Xingfeng savoring the food she had cooked.

She didn’t have lofty ambitions; if she did, it would be to stay by this man’s side and cook for him all her life.

So it was only natural that he chose a large refrigerator, and she would fill it with ingredients to cook delicious meals for this man every day.

”Mu Xingfeng, aren’t you hungry?”

Being ignored by the man, An Ran felt a bit frustrated. Was her charm not enough? Or did he really not desire her?

Wasn’t it said that after being in the military for three years, even a sow could rival Diao Chan?

An Ran glanced at her own still fairly curvy figure; she should be a hundred times better than a sow.

”Cough cough...,” An Ran accidentally choked on some potato chip crumbs, causing her to cough twice.

Mu Xingfeng had tried his best not to look at her. Hearing An Ran’s question, his back stiffened noticeably, and his movements quickened.

”Don’t rush, there will be food soon.”

But inwardly, he cursed, knowing he shouldn’t have let Lin Junyang bring dinner for the two of them.

”Oh,” An Ran replied, her tone noticeably more downcast.

But what could he do? Mu Xingfeng didn’t dare to get close to her right now.

Ever since he learned about the Valentine’s Day gift An Ran had prepared for him, he had been struggling these past few days.

He used to worry that their first time had caused her some lingering fear, afraid she would be repulsed by the matter, especially recalling the time in Imperial City when he clearly saw her fear of it.

So even though they had expressed their feelings, he still tread carefully, afraid to hurt her.

Upon seeing the unsent Valentine’s Day gift she had prepared for him, he understood that his little one had completely accepted him and even anticipated him.

Knowing her feelings made every night torturous for him. If it weren’t for her injury, he would have longed to take her eagerly.

That feeling of physical and spiritual unity was unforgettable to him.

At this moment, the doorbell rang.

Seeing the man still engrossed in cleaning the refrigerator, An Ran got up to answer the door.

What she didn’t notice was that Mu Xingfeng’s tense body noticeably relaxed upon hearing the doorbell.

An Ran looked through the peephole at the person outside, then turned to Mu Xingfeng and said, ”It’s Brother Yang.”

Then she opened the door.

”Tuzi, are you hungry?”

Lin Junyang entered, carrying two boxes of food, and casually asked An Ran.

But An Ran, having been preoccupied with whether Instructor Mu was hungry or not, blushed awkwardly upon hearing his words.

Damn it, a simple sentence, ruined.

Mu Xingfeng had already dropped what he was doing and stood behind An Ran, wrapped his arm around her slim waist, and guided her to the dining table, ”You arrived just in time; she just complained about being hungry.”

”Thud—” An Ran’s head hit the dining table, feeling utterly resigned.

After dinner, An Ran sat on the sofa watching TV, occasionally glancing towards the study.

When the clock struck nine, Mu Xingfeng walked out of the study and looked at the little woman on the sofa, ”Wife, why are you still not taking a bath and going to sleep?”
