Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 506: Chapter 520: Will She Forgive Me?

Mu Xingfeng didn’t wait for her to respond but started speaking on his own.

His gaze fixed in the distance, as if seeing something through it.

”I once hurt a very, very kind girl. That day, my sister came to the Guard Team to see me and invited me to a teahouse. I didn’t know my family had already discussed with her. Seeing that I had no plans to find a girlfriend for so many years, they drugged my tea.”

Mu Xingfeng noticed the shock in the girl’s eyes and nodded, ”Yes, it’s exactly what you think. I had no guard against my sister, and only realized I had been set up when the drug took effect.

At that time, I was already on my way back to the Guard Team. My sister told me the hotel room number. I knew they had prepared a woman for me inside. I could imagine who the woman was, but I had no feelings for her. I refused to go to the hotel, thinking I could endure it with my willpower.

But the drug dosage was too heavy. Just when I was on the verge of collapse, that girl appeared.

As Mu Xingfeng spoke up to this point, he clearly felt the girl in his arms stiffen. He tightened his embrace and continued, ”She thought I was ill and kindly wanted to help me. The moment I saw her, all my rationality flew out the window. Just like that, I forced myself upon her.”

”Instructor Mu~~”

An Ran poked her head out from the man’s embrace, her eyes turning red.

Mu Xingfeng lowered his head and kissed her forehead, ”Ranran, let me finish.”

Mu Xingfeng cut her off and continued, ”I know how much of a bastard I was back then. I thought about compensating her well, no matter what she wanted. But before I could seek her out, I received an emergency notice from the Guard Team. There was a flash flood.

As a guard, my duty was to obey orders. In the face of orders, I had to set aside my personal feelings, thinking I would find her after completing this mission. However, during that mission, I almost died.

At the moment I was swept away by the flood, what flashed before my eyes weren’t my family or friends, but that girl I hurt yet hadn’t even had the chance to know her name.

I never believed in deities, but at that moment, I prayed to the heavens to give me another chance to find that girl and spend my life protecting her well.

Maybe the heavens heard my prayer. I was saved, and the one who rescued me was exactly the person I had recklessly hurt.

Seeing her struggling to drag me from the water to the shore, I thought, in my past life, I must have saved the entire world; that’s why I encountered her in this life.

At that moment, I couldn’t think of a better way to repay her, other than dedicating my life to protecting her, this innocent, kind, and delicate girl.

But I didn’t know how to express my feelings, scared her right from the start. To prevent her from rejecting me, I had to coax and lure her bit by bit until one day I realized I could no longer live without her. It wasn’t for repaying a debt, nor out of guilt, but a deep, inseparable love.

But the more I loved her, the more I didn’t dare to tell her, fearing she wouldn’t forgive me, fearing she would leave if she knew the bastard who hurt her was me, selfishly keeping this secret.

Ranran, do you think if I tell her the truth, she will forgive me?”

Mu Xingfeng finished and looked at the girl in front of him.
