Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 230: Chapter 243 Really Made a Big Mistake

Mu Xingfeng entered the store and heard the salesperson’s words, his aura grew colder.

Chen Shanshan was about to snatch the down jacket from An Ran, but she suddenly felt a chill behind her. She turned and saw a man with a cold demeanor.

”Brother Mu,” Chen Shanshan thought she was seeing things, but there was Mu Xingfeng right in front of her.

She blinked and realized it was indeed the person she had been longing to see for over a year.

”Brother Mu, when did you return to the Imperial City? Why didn’t Brother mention it?” Chen Shanshan’s face was full of joy, and her eyes were burning with passion as she looked at Mu Xingfeng.

Mu Xingfeng didn’t respond to Chen Shanshan’s words, his gaze was fixed on the little girl in the center of the store.

Chen Shanshan followed Mu Xingfeng’s gaze to An Ran. Seeing his displeased expression, she realized this mall was under the Mu Family’s name. Knowing the mall’s high standards, she figured Mu Xingfeng must also be unhappy with such a customer here.

”Brother Mu, I had my eye on this down jacket. This person doesn’t have money yet refuses to let go. The salespeople here are getting worse and worse, they don’t even understand who their target customers are, letting in people who can’t afford to buy.”

The two salespeople heard Chen Shanshan call him Brother Mu, realizing he was from the Mu Family. Seeing Chen Shanshan’s familiarity with Mu Xingfeng and his dark expression, they thought to themselves that they had really made a big mistake this time.

To make amends, the two salespeople walked straight to An Ran to take the jacket from her: ”Sorry Miss, if you can’t afford it, please let go. Other people want it too.”

Actually, when An Ran saw the price earlier, she wanted to give up, but Chen Shanshan’s attitude made her reluctant to back down.

Now, seeing Mu Xingfeng’s face darken like a storm about to break, she subconsciously let go of the jacket, her mouth pouting in unwillingness.

Mu Xingfeng saw An Ran’s aggrieved expression and his face turned even darker, ”Call your manager here.”

”Ah? Call the manager?” The two salespeople were completely stunned this time.

If they really called the manager, they might lose their jobs.

While the two salespeople worried about their jobs, a fat figure hurriedly ran into the store.

”Oh my, it’s really Young Master Mu. Someone just told me Young Master Mu was in the mall, I didn’t believe it. I didn’t expect Young Master Mu to really grace us with his presence.”

Mu Xingfeng saw the newcomer was indeed the mall manager Cui Yongjun. Without wasting words, he pointed to the two salespeople and said, ”These two people can go to finance to settle their salaries.”

The manager looked at Mu Xingfeng, then at the two salespeople. Seeing Mu Xingfeng’s displeasure, he realized these two had offended this VIP. How could he argue? He quickly nodded, ”Yes, yes, I’ll have finance settle their accounts right away.”

Then he smiled and asked Mu Xingfeng, ”Is there anything else you need, Young Master Mu? I’m willing to personally serve you.”

”Manager Cui, I like this down jacket. Please wrap it up for me.” Before Mu Xingfeng could reply, Chen Shanshan spoke, giving An Ran a smug look.

Cui Yongjun then noticed Chen Shanshan, ”Oh, it’s Miss Chen. I’ll wrap it up for you right away.”

Manager Chen took the down jacket from the salesperson and began packing it personally, secretly observing Chen Shanshan.

Everyone knew Young Master Mu was the object of affection among the Capital’s socialites, but apart from Miss Lin from the Lin Family, he wasn’t interested in speaking to anyone else.
