Forced Pampering: Haughty Husband, Please Restrain Yourself

Chapter 124: Chapter 134: Causing You Trouble Again

Finally, An Ran weakly whispered, ”I’m sorry.”

Mu Xingfeng’s hand, which was applying ointment, paused slightly, his voice indifferent and devoid of any emotion: ”Why are you saying sorry?”

”I... I’ve caused you trouble again.”

An Ran truly wanted to cry. Why is it that every time she comes to Longteng Xinyuan, every time she’s alone with Mu Xingfeng, various incidents occur? Could Mu Xingfeng be her nemesis? No, it’s always her causing trouble for Mu Xingfeng. So maybe she’s Mu Xingfeng’s nemesis. She really wanted to ask Mu Xingfeng about the psychological impact she’s had on him.

After applying the ointment to the last red spot, Mu Xingfeng lifted his eyes to look at An Ran, his dark eyes filled with unreadable emotions, as if suppressing something: ”An Ran, are you afraid of me?”

Under Mu Xingfeng’s gaze, An Ran felt a bit awkward. Hearing his words, she hurriedly shook her head: ”No... no.”

To show she was sincere, An Ran even sat up straight, looking directly at him.

Mu Xingfeng and An Ran looked at each other for a moment. Not afraid of him? Although the little girl tried her best to act natural, the avoidance in her eyes couldn’t escape his notice.

Mu Xingfeng sighed lightly, got up, and sat beside An Ran.

The sofa wasn’t long; An Ran was already occupying two-thirds of it. Mu Xingfeng sat on the other side of An Ran, his arm inadvertently touching An Ran’s arm, causing her to instinctively shrink back.

Mu Xingfeng’s eyes darkened, and he raised his hand to touch her small head.

An Ran was startled, wanting to turn around but afraid to look back, internally falling apart: Master Mu, what are you trying to do? I’ve already said I’m not afraid of you, do you need me to prove it? How should I prove it?

Mu Xingfeng didn’t speak, his large hand gently stroking An Ran’s small head. Her freshly washed long hair had a slightly damp texture but was very smooth and soft, cool to the touch, very comfortable. His large hand slowly caressed her long hair, like he was lovingly petting a small animal.

An Ran felt like crying internally but dared not move. Well, it’s just patting the head, right?

”An Ran.”

”Ah?”

Mu Xingfeng suddenly spoke, An Ran instinctively turned around, only to meet his affectionate gaze.

Honestly, Mu Xingfeng, with his cold exterior softened by a hint of tenderness, was truly captivating.

”An Ran, don’t be afraid of me, I won’t hurt you.”

Mu Xingfeng continued, yes, he wouldn’t hurt her. He would only do everything he could to protect her.

”Oh,” An Ran lowered her gaze, responding softly, even more afraid to look at him.

Honestly, Instructor Mu’s alluring tone really made her worry that she couldn’t resist diving into his embrace, which would be terribly embarrassing.

Seeing An Ran’s distracted look, Mu Xingfeng felt somewhat frustrated. He got up and cleaned up the bowl of noodles An Ran had shattered earlier.

Watching the fragrant shredded meat noodles being thrown into the garbage, An Ran’s stomach growled at just the right moment.

The sound wasn’t loud, but it was particularly abrupt on a quiet night, making An Ran feel deeply embarrassed, wishing for a crack to hide in.

Mu Xingfeng chuckled softly at An Ran’s embarrassed expression: ”Hungry? I didn’t have dinner either. Let me cook for you.”

Upon hearing the prospect of food, An Ran’s large black eyes sparkled as she looked at Mu Xingfeng, her small head nodding eagerly like a pecking chicken.
