From Arsenal to the Ball God

This time, reaching out to Ma’el was actually an attempt by the company not to be outdone.

They replaced entertainment stars with sports stars and spent more money to find players with a wider influence, not just experimenting in a single market, but directly trying to penetrate the global market in this field!

David Taylor thought that Ma’el’s endorsement would definitely be better than that of the Chinese star, but he didn’t expect it to be so much better.

Is it luck?

He felt it was somewhat, because shortly after they got the star endorsement, the star repeatedly won championships and performed excellently in major competitions, breaking through the value and completely going viral after accumulating success time and again.

But no matter what, they achieved their goal and saw a broad and bright path ahead!

David Taylor quickly dialed a number, and upon connection, he immediately said, ”Leverage the European Cup, and during this period, focus the publicity on the sports spokesperson Ma’el.

”The opportunity has appeared, and we must strive to channel male spokesperson endorsements for the company’s female products.

”Yes, the effect is quite good, and in the next month or two, we might see this reflected in sales data.

”Hmm..... I know we have many spokespeople, he’s not the most expensive or the main promoted ones.

”But we have to understand, this is a successful new attempt, he’s a pioneer, and we need to obtain feedback data from his endorsement for future use.”

After saying this, David Taylor hung up the phone and continued browsing news related to Ma’el.

While reading, he suddenly felt that he couldn’t just let this matter settle here; he had to pay more attention to Ma’el.

Because they have the potential for a larger, more successful collaboration!

David Taylor immediately stood up, left a message for the company’s chairman A.G. Lafley, and rushed to the chairman’s office upon receiving the invitation.

More than ten minutes later, he sat opposite A.G. Lafley, enthusiastically depicting the blueprint in his mind, ”He is phenomenal, not just in Europe—he will become a global phenomenon in the future.

”Just like Madonna, Beckham, Kobe, even Michael Jackson..... Of course, that may be a bit distant.”

He raised an eyebrow self-consciously, then continued, ”In any case, I believe in his potential to become one of the most famous people in the future, adored by everyone.

”And as a young person with both talent and looks, he is sure to be one of Procter & Gamble Company’s most ideal partners!”

A.G. Lafley placed his hands together, listened quietly until the end, and nodded slightly, ”He is already our partner; do you mean to elevate the level of collaboration?”

”Yes.” David Taylor nodded, his eyes full of expectation. ”We can have him endorse other brands under the company, deepen the collaboration, and lay a good foundation for cooperation.

”In the future, depending on his development, consider whether to make him our international spokesperson.”

A.G. Lafley pondered for a moment, shook his head, and said, ”Taylor, I agree with your first statement, but no matter what, we can’t make a football player an international spokesperson.

”For this role, we have more choices, even retired presidents among celebrities.”

A.G. Lafley smiled, stood up and took a few steps, and when he turned to look at Taylor, he saw the deep-seated disappointment and a trace of dissatisfaction in his eyes for not fully accepting the proposal.

”Haha.....” The smile on his face deepened, ”Taylor, we don’t know what the future holds, nor can we predict how this player’s career will develop.

”But out of trust in you, I can promise you we’ll try first.

”You take full charge of this matter..... Let me say, you are the young person I have the most faith in in this company, and I hope your decisions and choices can instill even more confidence in me.”

David Taylor raised his head, hope filled his entire body, giving him new vitality and motivation, ”I will definitely do well, and do it beautifully. Thank you for the opportunity, boss!”

A.G. Lafley waved his hand, remembered something and said, ”By the way, speaking of players, I remembered something. It seems the player is indeed a shareholder of Instagram; Zuckerberg is troubled by this lately.”

David Taylor’s eyes flickered; he had read reports that rumored it was 10%, meaning, even in financial circles, Ma’el is considered an emerging talent?

This indeed is surprising; he’s so young and clearly lacks relevant knowledge.

”The U.S. Securities Act has no mandatory takeover offer provisions, it seems, Zuckerberg is in for a significant payout.”

A.G. Lafley lit a cigarette, looked at the bustling street outside the window, jokingly remarked, ”I’ve heard he also loves watching football; I wonder if he will admire this young superstar or resent him?”

David Taylor chuckled, ran his hand through his brown hair, and also looked out the window.

What Zuckerberg thinks is hard to speculate, but for him, he really, really admires this superstar living far away in Europe, and truly hopes one day to watch him play a match in person.

Leon Maerel, this player who only made his debut two years ago, has really risen quickly.

He is an 18-year-old international superstar, and a superstar with immense personal brand value too!

He hopes one day this name will attract people’s attention as soon as it appears..... because on that day, he could very likely rise to another level.
