From Arsenal to the Ball God

”Bang!!” A burst of explosive sound echoed as the ball sped towards the goal net before Ma’el could even land. It struck the top right corner in a deadly spot, ”Swoosh!”

”Oh.....!” Van Persie exclaimed in shock, looking at the quivering net, then back at Ma’el on the ground. He was feeling incredulous.

Isn’t this the way he’s most skilled? In the 06/07 season away game against Charlton, he had also scored a similar goal.

How could Ma’el do it?

And do it so well?

”Did you really steal it?!” He exclaimed, holding his head as he ran towards Ma’el, overwhelmed by the excitement of taking the lead, unable to keep calm.

Of course, he knew such abilities couldn’t be stolen. The only possibility was that Ma’el is slowly mastering the technique of aerial shots!

Genius!

A true genius!

”Yeahhhh...!!” Thousands of Arsenal’s traveling fans wildly waved their scarves, and flags of various sizes fluttered amid the joy across the South Stand.

”Two to one!”

”Ma’el!”

”Ah.....!”

Their expressions were ecstatic, and many turned red-faced in an instant as if intoxicated.

Wenger on the sideline dashed out of the dugout at the moment of scoring, yelling and waving his arms in celebration, ”What a fantastic Goal!! Oh...!!”

”Aahh.....!”

As he landed, Ma’el felt an uncontrollable surge of heat through his body, forcing him to sprint full-speed towards the sideline.

He forgot everyone else, reveling only in the bliss of scoring such a fierce aerial shot!

goal and 1 assist!

On the day of winning the Golden Boy award, he delivered a perfect performance to help the team take the lead against Manchester City, boosting hopes to conquer the final summit before the mid-season!

He sprinted towards the Arsenal traveling fans’ section and while passing by Nasri, he couldn’t resist teasing with a smile, ”Not too bad, huh?!”

Nasri turned away with a grim face and headed towards the center line, afraid of being too close to celebrating Arsenal players.

”Oh.....” Ma’el growled as he ran, hinting to Arsenal fans to await his climactic release. As low roars erupted from the flanks, he stood firm and raised both hands, ”Yeah.....!”

At this moment, he was like a figure skater completing a brilliant performance, making the most graceful, nonchalant exit as the music ended.

”The ball went in again!!”

Zhan Jun, shouting throughout almost the entire field, was already hoarse, ”Ma’el’s heavenly aerial strike! Turning the score to two to one! Arsenal fans can relax now. The pressure has shifted to the Manchester City fans!

”With 1 goal and 1 assist, Ma’el provided a satisfactory answer in this Premier League match on the day he won the Golden Boy Award!

”Maybe this isn’t the final answer; there are a few more inspired strokes he wants to add... But from now, this performance looks enough to score high!”

Zhang Lu kept exclaiming ’Oh.....’ on the side and only commented after Zhan Jun finished, ”So beautiful! Let’s look at the replay, first Van Persie jumped and missed the hit!

”Then Ma’el followed with almost the same move, but this time made contact, and scored!

”They faced different directions, half a beat apart, but it reminds me of a scene from the Captain Tsubasa anime, that classic dual bicycle kick!

”A dual aerial isn’t possible, but this aerial move allowed us to appreciate two people doing the same action, which is pleasing to the eye!

”Ma’el, honestly, I don’t know how many more surprises he has for us!”

On the sidelines, Mancini angrily took off his coat, furiously waving his arms to berate his team’s defense.

He cursed in English mixed with Italian, not caring if the players understood; as long as it was a release.

After venting, he glanced at his watch, then anxiously approached the bench, ”Dzeko, Johnson, warm up! You have the final 10 minutes to blast that damn ball into Arsenal’s net!

”Once on the pitch, push the two fullbacks forward, play the 2-3-2-3 pressing formation, will you? Hurry to warm up!”
