Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Sharon is Angel’s distant cousin, with neat and tidy short hair, a slightly plump figure, and she never steals her spotlight.

She is also very efficient at her work and is the ace agent in the circle.

Her vision is very unique, and she can handle many things smoothly, so Angel has no scandals and her acting career has been smooth sailing.

Sharon is her partner, and even more so her family.

The car drove towards the Kingston Group, and in this silent atmosphere, logically, the new assistant sitting next to Angel would feel suffocated.

Yet she was very calm and gave off a cool and aloof feeling, as if she were a piece of ice, with an aura that’s hard to approach, but the corners of her lips were always slightly upward, as if carrying a faint smile.

Soon, the special car arrived at the entrance of the Kingston Group.

Sharon was the first to get out of the car, welcoming the beautifully dressed and strong-auraed Angel. She was wearing diamond-studded high heels and a custom-made dress, looking like a princess straight out of a stage play.

She was already beautiful, and with the professional makeup artist’s work, her good figure was shown off to the fullest extent.

The new assistant also stepped out of the car. She was as tall as Angel, but she wasn’t wearing high heels today. She dressed plainly, but had a very distinctive aura.

Angel stood still, not in a hurry to step inside, but glanced at her sideways, and coldly asked, ”You came to be my assistant, and with all this time in the car just now, why didn’t you say a word? Are you waiting for someone to teach you as a newcomer? Don’t you know how to ask for guidance on your own? Sharon has precious time.”

Her tone carried a bit of blame.

The girl met her gaze and calmly replied, ”I know you stayed up late for the gig last night and didn’t rest well, so I didn’t dare to disturb you just now.”

Indeed, Angel had taken a short nap in the car earlier.

Angel found herself speechless at the new assistant’s answer, yet she was also quite unhappy.

She felt this girl wasn’t just any pretty airhead; a girl with such striking looks but not stupid would easily steal the spotlight and sooner or later become a topic of conversation.

Therefore, Angel wouldn’t favor her, and would quickly let her leave of her own accord, the kind where she’d propose to resign herself.

Angel wouldn’t let herself be tarnished with a bad reputation; if it got out that she fired a new assistant just after hiring, people would surely think she lacks the patience to teach.

”You don’t need to go in.” Angel told her clearly, ”Wait in the car.”

”...” The girl met her displeased gaze and didn’t say anything, watching as she walked away with Sharon.

She wondered what was up with Angel, are all top-tier actresses this hard to serve?

Yet, not being allowed to follow her didn’t upset her at all.

She was only covering for a friend for a month anyway, so she turned and got back in the car.

In fact, her friend had set her up; her friend had long wanted to quit, and having finally escaped the clutches, there was no way she would come back.

Sharon walked with Angel into the lobby, and indeed the Kingston Group was quite imposing.

The entire lobby was of exceptionally high-end design, the kind of splendid that was pleasing to the eye, not gaudy at all.

Angel hadn’t been upstairs long when two other actresses arrived.

As newcomers, they didn’t have a fan base, yet achieving the second and third top positions was quite remarkable.

Today’s interview included the director, the producer, as well as the script team, and CEO Kingston, with thirteen people seated in the conference room.

Everyone had a copy of these three girls’ profiles in their hands, which they had already flipped through several times.

There were also differing opinions among everyone—

”Though a top-tier movie star has plenty of acting experience, her face is too familiar to too many people, and it’s easy for the audience to find it disruptive.”
