Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Then everyone waved goodbye, and Ian Shelby left with Jocelyn. A car was waiting in the yard to take them directly to the airport.

Recently, the focus of the Morgan family has been on Hailey and the child. The big villa is always filled with laughter, becoming more and more like a home.

With the addition of a little baby, the whole family was busy running back and forth. Hailey, who was in confinement, enjoyed queen-like treatment.

Since the family changes and being with Finn Morgan, Hailey has shed her childishness and become mature and steady.

In a blink of an eye, it was Friday.

That afternoon, Jerry Garcia’s phone rang, and he received a call.

The girl on the other end told him, ”Assistant Jerry, I’ve twisted my ankle and am in the orthopedics ward. I probably can’t report in on Monday.”

”Is it serious?” Jerry couldn’t help but get nervous; this was Bibi, the cat-loving one!

She was the only one among the four comic masters carefully selected by CEO Kingston who might be invited to join.

So Jerry didn’t dare to slack off, ”Which hospital are you in? I’ll come see you!” He had to treat her like a queen.

”No, no, no, that’s not necessary...” the girl quickly refused, ”It’s a minor issue, I’ll be fine after a few days’ rest.”

”No, no, no, I really need to come.” Jerry was afraid she would bail, ”You better tell me your location, and I’ll bring the contract to you.”

”This...”

”Our CEO Kingston is sincerely inviting you to join our company. He entrusted such an important task to me, I must accomplish it. Let’s sign the contract first, and it doesn’t matter when you come over.”

In short, she couldn’t be allowed to slip away, absolutely not.

Reluctantly, cat-loving Bibi had to give him the name of the hospital.

Jerry immediately put down his work and drove with the contract, because he was really nervous, fearing the girl would find an excuse to escape.

Comic masters are all very individualistic, with ever-changing thoughts and particularly leaping trains of thought.

If this task were messed up, CEO Kingston would definitely not let him off.

As Jerry drove past a flower shop, being very understanding of social conventions, he quickly parked at the side, and went into the flower shop to buy a bouquet of lilies for her.

He couldn’t just directly bring the contract to her; who goes to visit an injured person with a contract? He should first offer her some warmth, this way it’s easier to discuss cooperation.

In the hospital room.

The girl with a broken right leg leaned against the headboard, holding her phone and sighing repeatedly, ”What bad luck, how could I fracture my leg at such a time?”

She actually had quite a favorable impression of the Kingston Group, and if she could become a comic artist at such a large company, even if not being blessed with both fame and fortune, at least the stories she’d receive would be good.

Because she trusted CEO Kingston’s taste.

The door to the hospital room knocked, and the girl looked up to see a tall guy entering with a bouquet of lilies.

He was dressed in a gray suit, quite handsome, and holding a bag in his hand.

”Are you Miss Bibi?” Jerry asked gently, his gaze falling on her face.

The girl nodded slightly with a bit of awkwardness, ”I am.”

”Hello, I’m Jerry Garcia, the one who called you. I’m CEO Kingston’s assistant.” Jerry gently placed the lilies at the head of the bed.

”Thank you.” The girl’s eyes lightly passed over the fresh bouquet, and the room was soon filled with a light floral scent.

Jerry stood at the foot of the bed, looking at her plaster-wrapped right leg, and asked with concern, ”Is it serious? What did the doctor say?”

”It’s a mild fracture, not serious, but I have to rest in bed for a while.” The girl was young and pretty, around 20 years old, with a face full of collagen.

Jerry was relieved, he glanced at the contract in his hand, then at her, ”Um... can we sign the contract first?”

If he couldn’t sign her up, there really was no way to report back to CEO Kingston. To avoid any more delays, he needed to sign her immediately.
