Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

The contract comes in two copies. Justin Kingston takes one and puts it back in the drawer. He stands up and reaches out to her, ”Looking forward to your perfect finale.”

Jocelyn Morgan stands up as well and formally shakes his distinctively jointed hand, ”Thank you for CEO Kingston’s recognition.”

He said, ”We will do our utmost to stick to the original work and strive to retain your wave of fans.”

”Good.” She felt quite moved.

”Happy cooperation.” Justin Kingston’s lips curved into an attractive arc.

”Happy cooperation.”

Letting go of his hand, Justin Kingston said to her, ”Our company’s manga team was just established not long ago, this is the first one.”

”Then have you recruited any manga artists?”

Jocelyn Morgan took a sip of coffee, her eyes shining as she said, ”I am very interested in manga. I think people who can put the concepts in their minds onto paper are amazing!”

Justin Kingston didn’t hold back his praise, ”I think those who can use words to describe emotions are also amazing, especially when they can resonate with readers.”

Jocelyn did not stay here for long; she had to go home to accompany her little baby.

After finishing the coffee and holding the contract, she thanked CEO Kingston once again and then stepped out.

Not long after, Jerry Garcia came in.

Justin Kingston asked him, ”How are those manga artists I asked you to contact?”

”Two of them are in Japan and don’t plan to come back here to develop in the near future. No matter how high a price we offer, they’re indifferent, maybe they’re wealthy second-generation kids with no attraction to money,” Jerry Garcia was quite helpless as well, ”They draw simply out of passion.”

This caused Justin Kingston’s brow to furrow slightly. Surprisingly, there are people that the Kingston Group can’t recruit?

”What about the other two?” he asked.

Altogether, he picked four people; he personally reviewed the style online. These are artists that Justin Kingston recognizes to a certain extent, all with some fame and fan base, wishing to invite them to be the lead artists.

”One can’t be contacted, doesn’t reply to messages, phone is disconnected, and hasn’t updated their Weibo in a long time. Got hold of the last one, but she can only come for an interview on the first of next month,” Jerry Garcia was quite helpless, ”The conditions we offered don’t particularly excite her; she’s rather laid-back and not sure if she’ll come on Monday.”

Justin Kingston swept his sharp gaze towards him.

A row of crows flew over Jerry Garcia’s forehead, ”CEO Kingston, it can’t be blamed on my incompetence, it’s this group... they’re really peculiar.”

Saying this, he adds with a bitter smile, ”I found that manga artists are quite proud, not easily swayed by money, they have their own spiritual world, truly laid-back.”

”Who is the one you contacted?” Justin Kingston asked.

For a moment, Jerry Garcia was stuck, he thought for a bit, ”Cat... Bibi.”

”Bibi who likes cats.” Justin Kingston’s lips slightly parted, looking at him somewhat indifferently.

”Yes, yes,” Jerry Garcia smiled awkwardly, ”Bibi who likes cats, Bibi who likes cats,” though in his mind he was griping, what kind of pen name is this?

Isn’t it easier to just call Bibi directly? Or call Cat Cat?

Actually, among the four manga artists meticulously selected by Justin Kingston, he likes Bibi’s style best. He feels she’s a girl but with strong lead artist capabilities.

Thus, he instructed, ”No need to contact the other three anymore, keep a close watch on this Bibi, no matter what method you use, you must recruit her over. I only care about results.”

”Yes.” Jerry Garcia felt he was taking on a tough problem.

A good work must be created by a good team, must have a good lead artist.

And ’Bibi who likes cats,’ she is precisely the person Justin Kingston has decided on.
