Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

”Oh my god! Why are there so many people?” Janelle looked at the long line at the ticket window, feeling dizzy. She frowned and turned to look at the man beside her, ”Are we going to have to wait until the end of time just to buy a ticket?”

Trevor smiled without answering, handing two tickets to her.

Janelle was surprised, ”Didn’t we come here together? When did you buy the tickets?” She looked up at him and then reached out to take them. Seeing his reassuring smile, she also smiled, ”Let’s go! Time to have fun!”

What can’t Trevor, the mighty CEO, handle?

It was only after scanning the ticket that Janelle Mills realized it was an all-access pass! They could try every attraction here once for free.

Looking at the numerous amusement attractions and hearing the laughter and screams from all around, Janelle Mills felt her inner child awakening.

Seeing her excitement and childlike anticipation, Trevor felt an indescribable satisfaction and joy. He was older than her and more composed, not easily showing his emotions, but his face always carried a smile.

It was Janelle’s innocence that always deeply attracted him.

Since today was Saturday, there were quite a few visitors. Many were parents with their children, and there were also some young couples, inseparably glued to each other.

”Let’s go, let’s go! Let’s try that one first!” Janelle pulled Trevor over to the pirate ship, looking up at the towering swinging ship, then at him.

Trevor understood her meaning, unable to help but chuckle, ”If you want to go, let’s queue. I’m with you.”

”Ok!”

At that moment, a group of people were already on the pirate ship, and its swing was getting higher and higher. The screams were overwhelming, and just listening to them was terrifying.

Both looked up, and the ship was practically swinging at 90 degrees, with speed increasing and screams getting louder.

”Janelle Mills, have you ever tried this before?” Trevor asked her.

The girl shook her head, ”I’ve always wanted to since I was young, but Sister Sterling never allowed me to.”

”Why not?”

”She thought it was unsafe. If something happened, she couldn’t bear the pain of losing me.”

Trevor was moved by such maternal love.

You could tell she really wanted to try it.

So Trevor took her hand, ”Today I’m with you, even if something happens, we’ll face it together.”

”Don’t jinx it! Take back what you just said!” Janelle Mills lightly punched his chest, ”Live well, earn the betrothal gifts, and marry me! I’m expensive!”

Trevor couldn’t help but laugh, ”As you command!”

So, they moved forward to join the line among the young couples; about thirty people could ride at a time.

Soon enough, the swing of the pirate ship became smaller and smaller, eventually coming to a stable stop.

After the current riders disembarked, Trevor accompanied Janelle in line to board. Once seated, they buckled their seatbelts.

They were about four or five meters off the ground, but the swinging tests your heart.

”Give me your hand.” Saying this, Trevor took her hand without waiting for a response.

Once everyone was seated and buckled, the staff pulled down a safety bar from behind, securing it in front of the riders, adding an extra layer of safety.

Their interlocked hands held tightly, while the other hand gripped the bar.

Soon, the pirate ship began to move. At first, the swings were small, something everyone could handle, and they found it novel.

As the swings grew larger, almost everyone instinctively tensed up and started screaming!

In truth, Janelle Mills was scared. She bit her lower lip tightly, and Trevor could feel her body trembling. Some were already shouting they couldn’t hold on.

”Janelle, close your eyes.” Trevor turned his head, saying firmly, ”Just imagine there’s a sea in front of you, a vast blue ocean with a beautiful sunset, the sea shimmering with waves, and we’re standing by the shore, feeling the breeze.”
