Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

”Huh?” Janelle was confused, glanced at him, and said, ”Alright.” Then she turned around and did as told.

When she came back pushing the shopping cart, Ethan Dalton had two plush toys in his hands!

”Sister, look! Brother is amazing!!” Ethan jumped up with excitement!

Janelle Mills was also stunned. Under Trevor’s control, the claw looked like it was under a spell, getting a catch every time!

In just a few minutes, plush toys tumbled out one after another, and Ethan happily gathered them into the shopping cart.

Janelle was awestruck, ”You’re... incredible, aren’t you?” Trevor’s performance was practically a hundred percent success rate.

Trevor enjoyed her admiration, which naturally lifted his spirits a few notches.

”Wow!” Janelle clapped her hands like a child, turned to look at him with a face full of admiration, ”Trevor, brother, you’re amazing! You’re like our idol!”

Hearing her sweet voice, Trevor’s usually stern CEO face broke into a bright smile, his lips curving into an even more pleasing arc.

”Want to know the secret?” Trevor continued to operate the claw machine.

”I do! Teach me quickly!” The girl was eager.

Trevor demonstrated while telling her, ”This uses Newton’s First Law, taking advantage of acceleration and inertia.”

Seeing she still didn’t quite understand, Trevor used more detailed metaphors, and Janelle admired him even more.

”Want to try?” Trevor looked at her.

The girl took a deep breath and gripped the joystick again. Her skills were mediocre, and with him so excellent beside her, she suddenly felt pressured.

”Don’t be nervous, even if you miss, we haven’t lost anything.” Trevor encouraged her, placing his hand over hers, ”The movement should be steady. Don’t let your hand shake, or the claw will wobble too.”

Her hand stopped shaking, completely under Trevor’s control, but her heart was racing like a wild deer.

In no time, with his hand guiding hers, they won a cart full of plush toys of various kinds.

”Great job!” Ethan clapped his hands, ”Brother and Sister are the best!”

”Alright, we have to go now.” Trevor released her hand, ”First, take Ethan back to the hospital, then take Sister Janelle home, and then I’ll go to the office for a meeting.”

Ethan only enjoyed the process of clawing the toys; he didn’t need the toys themselves.

So, two big bags of plush toys ended up in Janelle’s hands, becoming Trevor’s personal gift to her, which made her incredibly happy.

In fact, she really enjoyed the process too.

These little things held a meaning beyond just being toys for her.

In the car back to the hospital, Ethan turned and asked, ”Sister Janelle, when will you visit me again?” He seemed unable to be apart from her now, feeling a special connection and liking her very much.

”I...” This question was hard for Janelle to answer, after all, she couldn’t just go as she pleased.

”When Brother has time.” At this moment, Trevor, who was driving, spoke up, ”When Brother isn’t busy, he will take Sister Janelle to visit you at the hospital.”

”Okay!” The little guy totally believed it because Brother Trevor had never lied to him.

The car stopped outside the hospital lobby, and they escorted Ethan upstairs, handing him over to Butler Warren. On the way back down in the elevator, Janelle said to him, ”You go to the company. I’ll catch a taxi back myself.”

”It’s slippery because of the snow, and I don’t trust others driving.” Trevor said, ”There are too many sudden accidents.”

”But you have to go to a meeting.”

”It’s not urgent right now.”

”...”

Though it was a few simple words, they were filled with concern for her, warming her heart.
