Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Hearing this, Trevor and Janelle Mills felt a little less worried.

”Sister Janelle!” Ethan Dalton looked at her happily, ”Are you here to introduce me to new friends?”

He was looking forward to it and had been keeping it in mind.

The girl nodded with a smile, ”Yes, as long as Ethan cooperates with the treatment, once the doctor says we can go out, we will go out! How does that sound?”

”But...” The little guy glanced at the hanging IV bottle and immediately looked worried again, ”Today’s the first day I’m on a drip, the doctor said I have to be on it for a week.”

”Then we’ll go after a week, health comes first, we have to listen to the doctor.” Janelle Mills bent down and gently patted his little head, ”This week, Sister Janelle will come to see you every day, okay? Does Ethan like cake?”

Then she turned her gaze to Trevor and extended her hand; Trevor handed her the cake, and she brought it in front of the little guy, ”If you like it, I’ll bring you some every day!”

Ethan Dalton didn’t resist her kindness and nodded obediently, ”I like it.”

”Then sister will feed you.” With that, she started to open the box.

From his son’s expression, David Dalton could easily tell that he seemed preoccupied or in a bad mood.

”Trevor.” So he asked, ”Is everything going smoothly at the company recently?”

Trevor came back to his senses, turned to look at his father, smiling slightly, ”Quite smoothly.” But the smile didn’t reach his eyes.

”Haven’t you been resting well lately?” David Dalton asked again, ”You don’t look very good, are you sick?”

Trevor masked his embarrassment with a smile; Janelle Mills stood up straight, turning to look at him, knowing he might still be worried about Jocelyn Morgan.

David Dalton noticed that this young woman also seemed different from before, a bit sad and tired.

Just when the father was puzzled, Trevor truthfully told him what happened to Jocelyn Morgan in the ancient town, being pushed into the water and going missing by Vera Ford.

”Dr. Ford?” David Dalton was very shocked, his eyes widened in disbelief, ”How could she do such a thing?”

He had interacted with Vera Ford twice, after all, Ethan had stayed there for a while, and Dr. Ford had always been patient with Ethan.

It’s too unbelievable, isn’t it?

In front of the child, Trevor did not continue with this cruel topic, and David Dalton didn’t ask further, he merely prayed for Jocelyn Morgan in his heart.

As it was getting dark, Trevor and Janelle didn’t stay long at the hospital, he needed to take her home.

David Dalton fed his son cake, Janelle Mills said goodbye to Ethan, promising to see him again tomorrow and play word games with him.

That night, although everyone returned to Riventhal.

Most of them didn’t sleep well, some stayed up all night, others couldn’t sleep, tossing and turning in bed clutching their blankets.

It was tough for everyone to wait until daybreak.

In the master bedroom on the second floor of the Morgan family.

”You should go to the company, I’m fine, really.” Hailey Hale lay on her side in bed, watching Finn Morgan who had just sat up hesitantly, ”Justin Kingston called you, it must be something important, Jerry Garcia probably couldn’t handle it.”

Finn Morgan knew, but he still hesitated while holding his phone. Yesterday, his wife had experienced false labor contractions, which made him extremely anxious even now.

”Alright, don’t look at me like that, just go.” Hailey Hale slightly smiled, holding his hand, ”I know you worry about me and the baby, but we have Dad and Mom here, don’t we? Plus, there’s a house full of servants.”

Finn Morgan sighed softly, stroking her hair, ”Okay, I’ll go to the company first, and come back to accompany you after I’m done.”

”Don’t!” Hailey Hale was not pretentious at all, she teased, ”You’re not in your own company now, you can’t be that casual, can you? You need to set a good example for Jerry Garcia, or else he might follow your lead!”

Finn Morgan couldn’t help but laugh, ”Alright, set a good example.” Hailey Hale also smiled, ”Good, go ahead.”

The couple’s eyes met, but both were a bit tired since they hadn’t slept well last night and still worried about Jocelyn.
