Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 1027: Chapter 1027: Joan Graham Decides to Shoulder It All Alone

At this time, Sean Dalton’s phone rang. She glanced at the caller ID; it was from her assistant.

When she returned, she had instructed her assistant not to bother her unless it was urgent.

It seemed to be something important.

So, Sean Dalton swiped her finger over the answer button and picked up the call, ”Speak.”

”Mary Kay’s exclusive interview contacted us. They said they only have time this afternoon. Do you want to take it?” the assistant asked cautiously.

”No nonsense! Of course, take it!” This was crucial for her recent popularity, ”I’ll come over right away. You prepare first.”

With that, she hung up the phone.

Joan Graham asked, ”Where are you going?”

”There’s an interview I’ve been actively seeking for a long time. They finally made some time, probably about two hours,” Sean Dalton told her, ”If you have a detailed plan regarding Mia Lane’s matter, you must let me know!”

”Alright, alright, go ahead.” Joan Graham promised, ”If there’s a plan, I’ll definitely tell you. It’s better for two people to discuss.”

Sean Dalton patted her on the shoulder, ”Then I’m off now.” After saying that, she turned and left.

Watching her daughter’s back, Joan Graham’s mind was quite clear at that moment.

After Sean Dalton left, she sighed lightly, ”Sean, if you knew, you’d be guilty of harboring. How could mom possibly tell you?”

She, Joan Graham, was determined to handle this alone.

Sean Dalton went downstairs, ready to head out.

”Sister.”

Ethan Dalton grabbed her hand, raising his eyes to look at her, ”Sister... play with me.” The longing in his heart was written all over his eyes.

The other day, he hit her chest with a ball, and she hadn’t been speaking to him since. The little boy knew he was wrong.

”No time.”

Sean Dalton rolled her eyes and impatiently pulled his hand away, stepping forward to head outside.

Ethan Dalton stood at the door, pitifully watching her open the Maserati’s door, watching her sit inside, and quickly drive away.

Ethan Dalton walked out of the living room, heading outside.

The Dalton Group, a cluster of towering buildings, everything running smoothly.

”Hey, what are you doing?”

In the courtyard-style large office, Mia Lane took the initiative to call Justin Kingston.

”Miss me?”

The man’s mood improved immediately upon seeing the caller ID, his voice low, magnetic, and gentle.

Mia Lane couldn’t help but smile, ”Yeah, sort of. Would saying this make you feel overjoyed?”

Justin Kingston also smiled.

”I reunited with my father,” Mia Lane told him.

”...”

Justin Kingston was obviously silent for two seconds, perhaps surprised, perhaps shocked, or perhaps very happy.

Mia Lane pressed her lips, deviating from the plan. She wondered if he would be unhappy, as she didn’t notify him in advance.

”That’s a good thing.” Unexpectedly, Justin Kingston said happily, ”Congratulations to you both.”

”You...” Mia Lane was momentarily at a loss for words.

”Does it make you happy?” Justin Kingston asked, ”How does it feel? Can you share?”

”Happiness is one aspect,” Mia Lane answered truthfully, ”Worry is another.”

”Worry?”

”Yes,” she said, ”Dad always asks me about the reason for leaving home back then.”

With that said, Justin Kingston knew she had softened.

So, he asked coldly, ”It’s related to that mother-daughter pair. What? You still want to keep them around for the new year?”

”Don’t make decisions too quickly; impulsivity is the devil,” Mia Lane said, ”After all, they have accompanied dad for more than twenty years.”

Justin Kingston remained silent, listening as she continued —

”Dad must have feelings for them. Even if dad drives them out for my sake, in a few days, his heart will feel empty because he’s long been accustomed to their presence.”

Such an analysis was indeed very reasonable.

So, it was because Mia Lane loved David Garcia deeply that she considered so much.

Justin Kingston understood. ”So what do you plan to do? They were capable of taking secret photos; do you plan to forgive them again and again?”

Mia Lane was slightly stunned, ”How do you know?”

”Because Joan Graham came to me with the photos,” Justin Kingston laughed, ”Saying you were having an affair with your dad.”
