Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 923: Chapter 923: She Wants to Appear at His Wedding

Veridia, the Morgan family, also presented a scene of festive hustle and bustle.

The servants, under Jasmine’s guidance, tidied up a large room upstairs.

New furniture was purchased, and many warm and loving couple items were prepared, like toothbrushes and cups in front of the sink...

”Madam, how about placing the sofa here?” A servant picked and chose.

Actually, the bedroom was very large, the biggest room in the whole villa, and it wouldn’t be crowded even if cradles for children were placed later.

Everything that could be used was fully prepared. Jasmine thought for a moment, ”Move the sofa to the bedside, it’ll be more atmospheric there. Don’t put it in front of the window.”

”Okay.” The servant asked again, ”Madam, should we place some plants by the window?”

”Sure, but keep them closer to the corner.”

She arranged while the servants followed suit, and she occasionally lent a hand.

”Aunt!”

Though Jocelyn Morgan hadn’t arrived, her voice came first, and the people in the bedroom turned to see her rushing to the doorway.

”Hello, Miss.” The servants greeted her.

”Jocelyn, what’s up?” Jasmine asked.

”I’m off to try on the bridesmaid dresses! I specifically came by to tell you, call me if there’s anything!” Jocelyn cheerfully waved the phone in her hand.

”Go ahead, take care on the road.”

”Got it!”

She was like a lark, always chirping, especially happy as if she had no worries.

Meanwhile, at the most famous bridal shop in Veridia.

Melissa Merce emerged in her gown, her long hair draped over her shoulders, gazing at herself in the mirror like an elf escaping from the forest.

The flowing, comfortable fabric, the overall fit was perfect, it was an incredibly beautiful pink, with an indescribably gentle hue.

Claudia stood by with her purse, originally planning to have the staff send the gown to the hospital, but Melissa insisted on coming out to see it for herself.

Soon, Melissa’s eyes landed on a wedding dress displayed not far away in the shop window...

There was a hint of sadness in her expression, a touch of envy, and also complexity.

”Cindy...” Claudia stepped forward, wrapping her arm around Melissa’s shoulder, ”Have you finished trying it on? If so, let’s take it back, we can leave from the hospital tomorrow, and have the makeup artist come over.”

”No.” Melissa collected herself, turning to look at her mother, ”Leaving from the hospital is so inauspicious. I’m just in the late stages of cancer, not missing a leg. I want to come here.”

”...”

Melissa smiled as she gazed at the wedding dresses in the store, admiring them one by one, ”They should be trying on wedding dresses today too, right? He’ll be with her, arranging her train, fixing her hair, he will also...”

”Cindy.” Afraid she would be hurt by the scene, Claudia told her daughter, ”Let’s go back to the hospital.”

”Mom!” Melissa snapped, turning her gaze to her, ”Can you stop mentioning the hospital?! I don’t want to hear those two words! I’m just going to die, there’s no need for you all to remind me every day! And I’m not going to die now either! I want to watch them get married! I want to be at Finn’s wedding, no matter in what capacity!”

”Alright, alright, don’t get upset.” Claudia worriedly tried to comfort her daughter, ”We don’t have to go back, I won’t go back, Mom will stay with you, you can try it on for as long as you want, as long as you’re happy.”

Claudia’s heart ached, but Melissa’s heart ached even more!

”I just want Finn Morgan to remember me for a lifetime...”

Melissa calmed down, murmuring quietly.

At this moment, Jocelyn Morgan came in from the entrance, her face full of joy, and immediately spotted Melissa and Claudia standing in front of the mirror, along with a few staff members!

”Miss Morgan, you’ve come too, are you here to try on bridesmaid dresses?”

As someone spoke, the mother and daughter quickly turned their gazes.

Jocelyn and Melissa’s eyes met, and after two seconds, Jocelyn stepped towards her.
