Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 893: Chapter 893: Lydia Ingram’s Escape

”Hello, Dad.” Hailey began, while Finn Morgan held the phone for her.

”How’s the wedding photo shoot going? Where are you taking them?”

Dennis Hale asked with a father’s concern, ”Will you be back for dinner?” His tone was casual, ”Your mom bought a lot of your favorite dishes.”

”Dad, there was a little incident just now, so we’re not shooting anymore.” Hailey told him.

”What little incident?” Dennis Hale hadn’t realized what had happened.

Hailey then recounted everything that happened here in detail to him, finally saying with relief, ”Luckily the kids are okay.”

Dennis Hale listened with his heart in his throat, eyes full of shock!

”And how about you? Are you hurt?” He was very nervous.

”My stomach hurts a bit, we’re heading to the hospital right now, we’ll be there soon.” Hailey spoke lightly, smiling to reassure him, ”But it shouldn’t be a big deal, Finn insists on having it checked to be sure.”

Dennis Hale thought to himself, if she wasn’t hurt, why would they need to go to the hospital?

Did the perpetrators lay a hand on her?!

”Luckily Finn is quite capable.” Hailey complained, ”Dad, can you believe there are still people who dare to kidnap kids nowadays? Are they out of their minds?”

On the other end of the phone, Dennis Hale put one hand in his pocket, his face somber, a fire of rage burning in his heart!

He heard his daughter continue to complain, ”And it was Justin Kingston’s child! Even if they managed to extort some money, could they really enjoy it?”

”I’ll come to the hospital to see you.” With that, Dennis Hale hung up the phone.

”Hey! Dad, you don’t have to come! Hello? Hello?” Hailey was helpless.

Finn Morgan held her shoulder, ”It’s okay, let him come, he’s just concerned about you, just like I am.”

”My dad really loves me.” Hailey Hale gently leaned on Finn’s shoulder, ”He’s getting old, I noticed wrinkles on his face.”

She couldn’t help but reflect on how fast time flies.

Holding the phone, Dennis Hale’s heart felt heavy.

More than anything else, he was worried about his daughter’s well-being at the moment.

In the Hale Villa, Dennis Hale casually grabbed a suit jacket and hurriedly went downstairs, exiting the living room.

In the yard, the driver opened the car door for him.

”To the hospital.”

Sitting in the passenger seat, as the car started, he dialed Lydia Ingram’s number with a grim face.

Listening to the ringtone, his cold eyes were as deep as an ancient well! Suppressing a raging fury!

”Hello, Mr. Mayor.” Lydia Ingram answered, somewhat surprised, ”In these special times, weren’t we not supposed to contact unless necessary?”

”You damn fool, are you insane?!” Dennis Hale’s accusations left Lydia Ingram stunned.

”Wha-what’s wrong?” He pricked up his ears.

”I said not to take the risk of kidnapping Justin Kingston’s child! Not only did you kidnap, but you picked the worst time to do it!” Dennis Hale was exasperated.

Lydia Ingram, however, breathed a sigh of relief, explaining for himself, ”Mr. Mayor, I have to find a way out for myself. Now, Justin Kingston is investigating everyone, even you can’t be sure of your safety, I had to fend for myself.”

”My daughter was taking wedding photos by the sea.” Dennis Hale said solemnly, ”The child was with my daughter! Your people laid a hand on her, she’s at the hospital now!”

”...” Lydia Ingram’s chest tightened, he paused, ”I didn’t foresee this situation, I’m sorry.”

Dennis Hale was very angry, ”Your people have already fallen into Justin Kingston’s hands, take care of yourself!”

Upon hearing this, Lydia Ingram was completely stiffened, ”Failed?” He was still waiting for good news!

Dennis Hale hung up the phone, his face exuding a murderous aura!

By doing this, it would only expedite Justin Kingston’s net-closing! Dennis Hale was restless.

In a large villa, Lydia Ingram snapped back to reality, grabbed the big suitcase he had prepared long ago, took the car keys, and rushed out of the living room!

After getting in the car, he quickly drove away!
