Twin Treasures: The CEO Wife's 99-Day of Revelations

Chapter 856: Chapter 856: The Taste of a Sweet Kiss

Claudia’s cheek was burning with pain, because she was afraid that if she hit too lightly, the girl would be dissatisfied, which would ruin The Merce Group’s business. Upon calming down, she thought it through and figured it was better to curry favor with officials.

Seeing them turn their heads, Claudia also turned with their gaze and saw Finn Morgan standing at the door of the hospital room, holding breakfast, and looking utterly shocked. Her chest tightened suddenly! Did all her actions just now fall into his eyes??

Capitalized awkwardness!

As if a black crow was flying overhead!

”How many breakfasts did you bring?” Hailey Hale quickly asked to ease the awkwardness.

Then she smiled slightly and walked over to Finn Morgan, taking the bag from his hand, ”Did you bring some for Uncle and Auntie?”

”I’ll go buy more.” Finn Morgan turned and left, a thousand thoughts running through his mind; he came too late and missed the exciting part.

What on earth happened? Why would Claudia slap herself?

But Finn Morgan judged that even if they were in the same room, Hailey wouldn’t be wronged; she could take care of herself.

So he quickly went downstairs to buy breakfast.

”Uncle, Auntie.”

In the hospital room, Hailey Hale took out two breakfasts and handed them to them, ”You probably haven’t eaten this early, have you? Here you go.”

Claudia felt a bit awkward, glancing at Zachary Merce, who calmly accepted it, ”Thank you.”

Hailey Hale looked at Melissa Merce lying on the hospital bed, ”Dr. Shelby is an authority in the medical field. Once he’s finished with his current work, he’ll come by. I believe with him around, Melissa will wake up soon.”

She looked at Zachary Merce, ”So you shouldn’t be too anxious either. Once she wakes up, give her a good talk. If necessary, get a psychologist. It’s definitely more reliable than involving Finn Morgan.”

Claudia remained silent as Zachary Merce nodded, took the breakfast, and left with his arm around his wife’s shoulder.

In the hallway, he whispered, ”There’s a project that needs a government signature; be careful in the future, and don’t resort to hitting.”

”Does Finn Morgan like her kind of personality?” Claudia still found it unbelievable, ”Who doesn’t like a refined lady?”

Zachary Merce smiled, ”How do you know she’s not refined? Being refined doesn’t mean being weak.”

”Our Cindy is no match for her...”

”There’s one thing she said that’s true.”

Claudia turned her head, ”What was that?”

”It’s better to consult a psychologist than to find Finn Morgan,” Zachary Merce said, ”When things involve Finn Morgan, they might get worse.”

”Oh well, let’s talk about it when she wakes up!”

In Melissa’s hospital room, Finn Morgan entered again, and Hailey Hale was sitting in the chair next to Melissa’s bed, staring at her unblinkingly.

”Did they leave?”

She didn’t answer, as if she hadn’t heard him at all.

”Come on, let’s have breakfast first.” Finn Morgan walked over to her, ”I bought banana milk and pulled bread.” He spoke patiently.

Hailey Hale pouted and turned her head coldly, ”I took a slap for you guys.” Her big eyes were full of grievance, ”You owe me!”

Finn Morgan, seeing her red cheek, immediately felt a pang of heartache, ”It’s that serious?” He quickly bent over, reached out, and gently touched it, ”I’m sorry, I’m sorry, for making you suffer. From now on, I’ll stick by your side, making sure no one dares to hurt you again.”

”Not happy.” She pouted, ”And I don’t want breakfast.”

Finn Morgan squatted beside her, opened a bottle of banana milk, ”Have a sip? Just one sip, okay?”

Seeing her unmoved, Finn Morgan took a sip himself, ”Hmm, the taste is different from before, it’s more fragrant now, want to try it?”

He said this while bringing the bottle to her lips.

Hailey hesitantly took it and drank a sip, ”No way? It tastes exactly the same!”

Finn Morgan just smiled, took the bottle from her hand, and drank another sip, ”Hmm, this sip is super sweet! Has the taste of a little fool’s fragrant kiss!”

Hailey blushed all of a sudden.
