Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”As expected, once enough Power of All Creation accumulates, it can trigger a qualitative transformation in the body.”

Inside the Forest of Death.

Seiryū opened his eyes, examined the condition of his body, and smiled.

Just as he had suspected, the Power of All Creation was the key to reaching the Six Paths level.

Half a month had passed, and the accumulated Power of All Creation had finally caused Seiryū’s body to undergo a qualitative transformation.

He had now reached the Six Paths level!

Because Seiryū had not relied on any external source of power to reach this level, his appearance had barely changed.

He looked almost exactly the same as usual.

Only the level of his power had changed!

”After reaching the Six Paths level and undergoing a complete physical transformation, the body naturally possesses all seven Chakra natures.”

With a thought, Seiryū combined the seven Chakra natures.

A rapidly spinning black sphere appeared in front of him.

It was a Truth-Seeking Ball.

Watching the Truth-Seeking Ball continuously change shape, Seiryū thought aloud.

”As long as all seven Chakra natures are combined, a Truth-Seeking Ball can be created.”

”However, it isn’t something you automatically know how to use. You still need to understand how to combine the seven Chakra natures properly.”

After his body underwent its qualitative transformation, Seiryū’s understanding of Chakra deepened considerably, and he naturally gained all seven Chakra natures.

Of course.

Creating a Truth-Seeking Ball still required training.

It was not something that could be mastered simply by reaching the Six Paths level.

The reason Seiryū could already create one was because he had possessed all seven Chakra natures beforehand.

After reaching the Six Paths level, his understanding of Chakra had deepened even further.

At the same time, he had already spent some time studying how to combine them.

Once his body completed its transformation, he naturally succeeded in mastering the Truth-Seeking Ball.

”Truth-Seeking Balls are still extremely effective against anyone below the Six Paths level, but their usefulness drops considerably against opponents who have undergone the same kind of transformation.”

”Against someone at the same level, they become tangible and much less threatening. That’s probably why some members of the Ōtsutsuki Clan don’t bother using them.”

Truth-Seeking Balls were certainly powerful.

In the original story, Six Paths Madara and Obito had left the Shinobi Alliance almost helpless against them.

If their vulnerability to Senjutsu had not been discovered, they could practically have been considered an unbeatable technique.

The only things capable of damaging Truth-Seeking Balls were Senjutsu and attacks from someone at the same level.

However, against opponents of equal strength, Truth-Seeking Balls were considerably less impressive.

”Even if they’re not especially effective against opponents at the same level, they’re still useful to me. They can be shaped into swords, which means I can use them with slash-type Hadō.”

Seiryū reshaped the Truth-Seeking Ball into a katana as he spoke.

In terms of durability and weapon quality, there were very few things in this world that could compare to a Truth-Seeking Ball.

Seiryū’s swordsmanship was already quite good, and he also possessed several Hadō designed for ranged slashing attacks.

Truth-Seeking Balls would be useful to him in that regard.

Afterward, Seiryū briefly tested his new power and gained a clearer understanding of his current strength.

Touching his chin, he murmured, ”I’m stronger than when I stacked two transformations together. So this is the true Six Paths level.”

”And now that my body has undergone a complete transformation, my Chakra reserves are no longer a weakness.”

The greatest benefit of reaching the Six Paths level was the massive increase in Seiryū’s total Chakra reserves.

Previously, he could run into situations where his Chakra was insufficient.

That problem was unlikely to trouble him anymore.

”My Chakra reserves are even greater than Madara’s when he became the Ten-Tails Jinchūriki.”

Seiryū had fought Six Paths Madara directly, so he had a clear understanding of the man’s Chakra reserves.

Compared with Seiryū’s current reserves, Madara’s had been significantly lower.

Perhaps that was because the Ten-Tails had been incomplete and lacked the full Chakra of the Eight-Tails and Nine-Tails.

Or perhaps Madara’s compatibility with the Ten-Tails had simply been insufficient.

The Ten-Tails was still a Tailed Beast.

For a Jinchūriki to fully draw out a Tailed Beast’s power, compatibility was important.

For example, Kushina had never been able to enter Nine-Tails Chakra Mode because her compatibility with the Nine-Tails’ Chakra was insufficient.

Even if she had completely opened her heart to the Nine-Tails, she still would not have been able to use it.

”Combining Yin Power and Yang Power produces the Power of All Creation. Once enough of that power accumulates, the body undergoes a qualitative transformation and reaches the Six Paths level.”

”Then Kekkei Mōra should involve combining all seven Chakra natures to create an even higher form of the Power of All Creation, causing the body to undergo a complete transformation and gradually evolve into a pure Chakra lifeform.”

”That’s almost the same principle as becoming the Soul King. All forms of power are combined into one, causing the user to evolve to a higher level.”

”The two systems definitely have similarities.”

Kekkei Mōra represented a form of Chakra lifeform.

The Soul King was the primordial source of power in the Bleach world.

Both stood at the highest level of their respective worlds and represented the origin of their power systems.

If Seiryū wanted to become the Soul King in this world, then his path naturally had to lead toward Kekkei Mōra.

Given how unreliable the system could be, it would almost certainly interpret Kekkei Mōra as equivalent to becoming the Soul King.

After all, when Seiryū reached the Six Paths level, the system had already gone ’Ding’ and congratulated him for receiving the ”baptism” of the previous Soul King’s power, claiming he was only one step away from becoming the Soul King.

He had also received a reward.

Advanced Hadō Compendium!

Apparently, according to the system’s logic, Seiryū had now become a member of the Royal Guard whose body had been reforged by the Soul King’s power.

[Ding! The host is only one step away from becoming the Soul King, ruler of the Three Realms. After a thousand years, the host has finally reached this point. This system is extremely pleased!

The Soul King stands supreme over the Three Realms and possesses the highest authority. The Soul King uses their own power to maintain the balance of the Three Realms and protect the lives within them!

Please continue working hard, host!

Final mission issued: Become the Soul King!

Mission reward: None!]

At that moment, the system notification sounded inside Seiryū’s mind again.

He raised an eyebrow.

”The reward is nothing?”

As for the thousand years it mentioned?

Heh.

”System, did you make a mistake? You’re giving me a mission with no reward? Are you just trying to motivate me with empty promises?”

[Ding! After becoming the Soul King, the host will rule the Three Realms and stand at the highest level of existence. Any power or technique can be understood with a single thought. No additional reward is necessary. Becoming the Soul King is itself the greatest reward!]

Seiryū fell silent.

That actually made some sense!

”Are there any prerequisites for becoming the Soul King? You’re being so vague that I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do.”

[Ding! Combine all of your powers into one!]

”Be more specific!”

[Shinigami, Hollow, Quincy, Fullbring.]

”Forget it. Asking you is pointless. Go away.”

Seiryū could not be bothered thinking about it any further.

For now, he would simply continue moving toward Kekkei Mōra.

As for combining his Shinigami, Hollow, Quincy, and Fullbring powers?

Although the system used terminology from the Bleach world, every one of those abilities was ultimately powered by Chakra here.

They had nothing to do with spiritual power.

So how was he supposed to combine them?

Hollowification and Quincy Vollständig could already be used together.

But Shinigami and Fullbring?

He had no idea.

Shinigami was essentially equivalent to being a shinobi.

Fullbring was essentially equivalent to a Kekkei Genkai.

How exactly was he supposed to merge those concepts?

After all, this was the world of Naruto.

Its power system was fundamentally different from Bleach.

The only realistic way to complete the ”final mission” was to continue down the path toward Kekkei Mōra.
