Naruto: Becoming the Soul King

”Is this attack supposed to tickle me?”

Amid the roaring explosions, Urashiki was completely unharmed.

As a Kekkei Mōra, how could he possibly be injured by such an attack?

’Boom, boom, boom.’

With a push of his hand, Urashiki released a powerful repulsive force that knocked away every Cero.

They exploded in different locations, creating a series of small blasts.

’Boom!’

After transforming, Urashiki’s strength had increased significantly.

He stomped on the ground, and his figure blurred into an afterimage as he lunged forward.

His speed was so great that he tore through the air and clearly broke the sound barrier.

”I’m only showing you how to use Chakra more efficiently.”

Vollständig: Heavenly Eye captured Urashiki’s movements.

Seiryū curled his lips and met him head-on without fear.

’Rumble!’

Their fists collided, and a deafening roar instantly erupted.

At the center of the impact, air currents churned as a powerful shockwave swept outward.

”Damn it.”

The next moment, Urashiki’s expression changed drastically.

A sharp pain surged through his arm as overwhelming strength erupted from Seiryū’s fist, crushing his attack and sending him flying.

Although Urashiki’s strength had improved after transforming, Seiryū, with Hollowification and the Eight Inner Gates Formation stacked together, was inexplicably powerful.

’Hum!’

While flying backward, Urashiki gritted his teeth and activated his Dōjutsu, forcibly stopping his momentum.

Hovering in midair, his expression became gloomy and ugly.

He was a Kekkei Mōra.

Even if his foundation was insufficient, he was still a Kekkei Mōra.

Yet even in this state, he could not easily crush his opponent.

Instead, he was the one being overwhelmed.

He had still underestimated Seiryū!

’Swish!’

The next moment, Seiryū appeared out of thin air, his attack fierce and relentless.

A crackling sound came from the lightning sphere in his hand as he thrust it forward, smashing Urashiki down from midair once again.

With a rumble, a crater more than ten meters deep appeared in the ground!

Seiryū looked down from above and said playfully, ”What are you spacing out for?”

”What about that time-based Dōjutsu? Can’t you use it in this form?”

”Damn monkey!”

Urashiki’s surging Chakra became even more intense as he floated back into the air, killing intent pouring from his eyes.

He truly could not use the Time Reversal Dōjutsu in this form.

However, he still possessed other Dōjutsu!

”Die!”

Urashiki roared in anger and raised his hand toward Seiryū.

He mobilized the Chakra within his body and gathered it into a Chakra sphere in his palm.

The purple Chakra sphere gradually grew larger, and its power was astonishing.

It resembled a Tailed Beast preparing a Tailed Beast Ball.

’Boom!’

However, before Urashiki could launch the attack he was preparing, he was struck again.

Seiryū’s whip kick, carrying monstrous strength, slammed into Urashiki’s face.

Blood sprayed from his nose as he was sent flying backward uncontrollably.

”You never learn.”

Seiryū stood where Urashiki had been and shook his head.

He then formed a hand seal and fired a pillar of lightning.

”Hadō #63: Raikōhō.”

’Hum.’

This time, Urashiki did not wait to be struck.

The golden Rinnegan on his forehead flashed, and he opened his mouth to absorb the lightning pillar.

The Ōtsutsuki Clan were essentially Chakra lifeforms, and all of them possessed the ability to absorb Chakra for their own use.

This method of absorption was even more convenient than the Rinnegan Dōjutsu, Absorption Seal, and was a unique ability of the Ōtsutsuki Clan.

The Rinnegan’s Absorption Seal originated from this ability.

”Even the Flying Raijin mark was absorbed?”

Seiryū clearly sensed that the Flying Raijin mark he had left on Urashiki had been absorbed as well.

The ability to absorb Chakra was indeed a counter to the Flying Raijin Jutsu.

”I will definitely kill you, you lowly monkey!”

Urashiki roared angrily and raised his hand toward Seiryū as the golden Rinnegan on his forehead glowed.

A powerful attractive force acted upon Seiryū, attempting to drag him over.

”As expected, every Rinnegan possesses the ability to control repulsive and attractive forces.”

Seiryū did not resist being pulled.

Instead, a cold smile appeared on his lips as he used the attractive force to increase his own speed.

’Boom!’

The two charged at each other from opposite directions, and their fists collided.

A roar instantly echoed across the battlefield as the surrounding air churned.

’Boom, boom, boom.’

The two exchanged more than a dozen Taijutsu moves in an instant.

Every collision caused the ground to collapse and the air to ripple with vibrations.

Powerful shockwaves swept through the surrounding area.

Their movements were incredibly fast and difficult to follow as they exchanged attacks.

Seiryū threw a punch that shook the air and sent Urashiki flying.

However, Urashiki quickly adjusted himself, lunged forward, and returned a punch.

’Boom, boom, boom.’

The two continued fighting.

A Taijutsu battle of this level could not be achieved even by the current Madara.

This was a pure physical confrontation.

Only a body strong enough could withstand this kind of battle.

Even the shockwaves created by their Taijutsu were enough to terrify many people.

”Damn it! Damn it!”

His lack of combat skill left Urashiki at an absolute disadvantage in the Taijutsu exchange, making him appear flustered and furious.

’Bang!’

Urashiki took another heavy punch.

The intense pain caused his anger to erupt, and he roared, ”Haa!”

Terrifying Chakra surged from his body and transformed into an invisible repulsive force that expanded outward with him at the center.

’Boom, boom, boom!’

Everything within several hundred meters was sent flying, leaving a massive crater behind.

”Getting anxious?”

Seiryū used the Flying Raijin Jutsu to avoid the eruption of Shinra Tensei before instantly returning.

Staring at Urashiki, he sneered.

”It’s useless to be anxious. Your combat skills are simply too poor.”

”Bakudō.”

Several Bakudō were cast instantly, sealing Urashiki for a moment and freezing him in midair.

”Serious Punch: Dragon Fist Burst!”

Seiryū resumed his attack.

Monstrous strength erupted from his fist as he punched forward violently.

This time, the attack truly shook space, causing it to twist and deform.

It resembled Night Guy, which Guy had used after opening all Eight Gates in the original story.

This punch was also Seiryū’s strongest physical attack.

It was powerful enough to shake Sages and gods.

Even someone at the Kekkei Mōra level would be severely injured!

’Boom!’

Power and Chakra were compressed and condensed.

The restrained dragon-shaped force transformed into Seiryū’s most powerful strike and smashed directly into Urashiki, who had only just broken free from the restraints!

Dodge?

It was impossible within such a short time.

Mobilizing Chakra required time, and activating a Dōjutsu also required time.

Even if it took only an instant, it was still time.

There was no deafening roar.

Only a sound that was not particularly loud rang out.

”Crack!”

Urashiki’s body trembled as though struck by lightning.

His sternum shattered instantly, and he spat out a large mouthful of blood with fragments of his internal organs mixed within it.

’Rumble!’

The force of the punch pierced through Urashiki’s body and continued forward without losing momentum, shattering a distant mountain.

”Seeping crest of turbidity. Arrogant, unbridled talent. Surge, deny, paralyze, blink, hinder the long sleep. The crawling princess of iron, the self-mutilating doll of mud. Unite, repel, extend to the earth, and know your own helplessness.”

Seiryū did not stop attacking.

He quietly recited the incantation.

His Chakra fluctuations reached their peak as he pointed one finger forward.

”Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi!”

After taking that punch, Urashiki had not died, but he was severely injured and could not avoid the fully chanted Kurohitsugi.

The incantation raised the upper limit of Kidō, allowing it to display even greater power.

Like Ninjutsu, the strength of Kidō depended on the caster.

The Kidō Seiryū used in this state was naturally far more powerful than what he could cast in his normal state.

This was the strongest Hadō #90: Kurohitsugi Seiryū had ever cast!

A series of interlocking clicks rang out.

A massive black cube enveloped Urashiki.

”Aaaah!”

The power of Kurohitsugi erupted, and Urashiki’s shrill screams immediately came from within, as though he were being cut apart by countless blades.

His body and soul were being attacked at the same time.

Only those who had experienced such pain could understand it.

Calling it torture would not be an exaggeration.

’Hum.’

After only two seconds, Kurohitsugi dissipated.

Urashiki, covered in wounds and emitting weak Chakra fluctuations, fell headfirst toward the ground.

With a boom, he crashed into a small crater.

Although Urashiki was not dead, he was on his last breath and severely injured.

Only the unique body and powerful vitality of the Ōtsutsuki Clan had allowed him to survive such severe injuries.

If Madara had taken that attack, he would probably have already died.

Looking at the dying Urashiki in the crater, Seiryū’s lips twitched.

”This is pathetic. Is this really a Kekkei Mōra?”

To be fair, Urashiki’s combat skills were truly terrible.

Seiryū had not expected him to be this incompetent.

Saying his combat skills were worse than a Genin’s might be too harsh, but they definitely had not reached the level of a Chunin.

Who would release an attack without leaving any room to react or protecting themselves from an opponent’s counterattack?

However, Urashiki had done exactly that.

He had simply released his ultimate move without any caution, naturally exposing an opening that should never have existed.

If Seiryū could not seize such an obvious opening, he should stop talking about becoming the Soul King.

He might as well find somewhere to lie down and give up.

That was how this situation had occurred.

Urashiki had been beaten to the brink of death by Seiryū with ease!

Seiryū did not even know what to say.

He truly deserved to be called the disgrace of the Kekkei Mōra!

Watching Urashiki, who was barely alive but recovering at a visible speed, Seiryū raised an eyebrow.

”Is this guy’s vitality really this powerful?”

”How did he die to Naruto and Boruto’s Rasengan in the original story? That must have been forced by the plot, right?”

If there was anything worth praising about Urashiki, it was his Chakra and vitality.

He had actually survived such an attack.

His recovery speed was also extremely fast, no weaker than Seiryū’s High-Speed Regeneration.

With this kind of vitality, how could he have died to Naruto and Boruto’s Rasengan?

It truly made no sense.

”Or could it be that Urashiki actually died to his own attack?”

Seiryū thought of another possibility.

Perhaps Urashiki had not died to Naruto and Boruto’s Rasengan but to his own attack.

Seiryū vaguely remembered a clash between the Rasengan and a Chakra sphere in the original story.

It was possible that Naruto and Boruto’s Rasengan had pushed Urashiki’s Chakra sphere back onto him, causing Urashiki to be killed by his own attack.

Otherwise, a Kekkei Mōra dying to the Rasengan of two Genin would be even more ridiculous than an immortal shinobi dying from a heart attack.

Seiryū shook his head and stopped thinking about it.

”Forget it. I’ll seal you first.”

Urashiki’s appearance had been unexpected.

Although he had been defeated, his vitality was extremely powerful, and killing him completely would not be easy.

It would probably require several more fully chanted Kurohitsugi.

However, there were still other enemies present, and Seiryū needed to conserve Chakra in case something unexpected happened.

After the previous battles, combined with the burden of continuously using Medical Ninjutsu to maintain the Eight Inner Gates Formation, both his own Chakra and the Dragon Vein Chakra had been heavily consumed.

There was not much left.

Seiryū could absorb natural energy to create Senjutsu Chakra, but he still needed his own Chakra to balance the natural energy.

He now had only twenty to thirty percent of his Chakra remaining, and it was still being continuously consumed.

He had to conserve it.

Therefore, Seiryū planned to seal Urashiki first and decide how to deal with this Kekkei Mōra later.

[Ding! Mission completed. Reward is being distributed.]

However, just as Seiryū prepared to cast Bakudō and Sealing Jutsu to seal Urashiki, the system’s voice sounded in his mind.

The principles and applications of high-level Bakudō flooded into his mind like a tide.

Because the principles and applications of high-level Bakudō were more complex, the amount of information far exceeded the Low-Level Bakudō Compendium and Mid-Level Bakudō Compendium.

It made Seiryū’s head feel slightly swollen, and his movements paused for a moment.

’Hum.’

At that exact moment, Urashiki, who had already recovered from some of his injuries, instantly deactivated his transformed state.

A red six-tomoe Rinnegan appeared in his eye sockets, and he immediately activated the space-time Dōjutsu, Yomotsu Hirasaka.

A pixelated spatial portal opened beneath Urashiki and swallowed his body in the blink of an eye.

Just as the portal was about to close, Urashiki’s voice, filled with killing intent and fury, came from within.

”Remember this. Next time, I will definitely kill you.”

He had lost.

He had lost completely.

And he had lost miserably.

If Seiryū had not become distracted for a moment, Urashiki probably would not have been able to activate the Kekkei Mōra-level space-time Dōjutsu, Yomotsu Hirasaka, and escape.

He would most likely have been killed.

Kekkei Mōra possessed the characteristic of being nearly immortal, and ordinary attacks found it difficult to kill them.

However, Seiryū’s attacks damaged both the body and the soul.

Although the Ōtsutsuki Clan were essentially Chakra lifeforms, they still possessed souls.

As long as their souls were destroyed, they could also be killed.

Seiryū was clearly not a Kekkei Mōra, yet he possessed the power to kill one.

This filled Urashiki, a true Kekkei Mōra, with shock and fear.

Why had such a monster appeared here?
