Apocalypse: My Tattoos are Ten Yama Kings

”All sacrificed?”

”Not a single one left?” The Demon Lord looked at the Buddha with a face full of confusion.

The Buddha replied indifferently, ”All sacrificed, not a single one left.”

”They are all useless garbage, keeping them is pointless.”

Upon hearing the Buddha’s response, the Demon Lord was immediately displeased.

He shouted at once, ”Buddha, you are foolish!”

”Buddha, you’re truly too foolish.”

”At least, you could have kept a few!”

However, it wasn’t because of the disciples’ deaths that the Demon Lord thought the Buddha was foolish.

He believed the Buddha handled the matter inelegantly.

Immediately afterward, the Demon Lord said, ”Now the entire Great Burial Heaven Temple doesn’t even have a single disciple left.”

”The two of us can’t descend upon Heaven and Earth in person either.”

”If you’d kept a few disciples, while the Yin Celestial Son is being distracted by that monster, you could have sent these disciples to Heaven and Earth to abduct more people.”

”By then, using the people taken, to sacrifice to that portal, wouldn’t it release many more monsters?”

So, the Demon Lord blamed the Buddha for not keeping any for this reason?

What the Demon Lord could think of, the Buddha could naturally think of as well.

Originally, the Buddha also intended to keep a few disciples.

But then, reconsidering, he thought it unnecessary.

”The myriad races of Heaven and Earth are weak, especially humans.”

”A small sacrifice is useless, and once large-scale plundering of humans starts, even if the Yin Celestial Son goes to the Void, Lin Yuan and Yang Jing are still present in Heaven and Earth.”

”To seize a large number of humans from the hands of those two is impossible,” the Buddha said slowly.

Besides, the Buddha had another idea.

That is, when they began sacrificing their disciples, it meant no disciple would be left.

When these disciples witnessed their peers being sacrificed, who would still work for them?

They might be sent to snatch humans in Heaven and Earth, but upon arrival, they’d likely surrender to Lin Yuan and never come back.

So, he simply sacrificed them all.

After hearing the Buddha’s explanation, the Demon Lord was speechless.

It was indeed the case; he had thought too simply.

Unless he and the Buddha acted personally, who could seize a large number of humans from the hands of Lin Yuan and Yang Jing, those Half-Step Tier One individuals?

But the critical issue was that he and the Buddha could not descend into the Void.

”Bang!”

The Demon Lord punched the black portal, then lamented while holding it, ”Without flesh to sacrifice, are we only able to release one monster?”

”Even with this one monster added, it’s still not easy to turn the tide.”

The Buddha apparently had an idea; he looked at the black portal and the Demon Lord and said, ”Once this monster acts, it need not kill the Yin Celestial Son; as long as it injures him, we can seize the opportunity.”

”By then, let’s occupy the Underworld, and won’t those Netherworld Yin Spirits obey our commands?”

”At that time, we can use these Netherworld Yin Spirits to search for flesh.”

In the Buddha’s view, once they could counterattack the Underworld and drive the Yin Celestial Son out, occupying the Underworld and gaining control over the Netherworld Yin Spirits meant countless opportunities.

”Roar!”

Just then, a cry of pain came from the Demon Lord; a sharp pain emanated from his wrist.

The Demon Lord quickly looked at his wrist to see it wrapped in a black octopus tentacle, covered with human mouths.

A piece of meat was ripped from the Demon Lord’s wrist, blood flowing, while one mouth on the octopus tentacle chewed on the Demon Lord’s flesh.

”How dare you harm me!”

”Courting death!”

The Demon Lord was about to strike the monster that bit him, but the octopus tentacle, full of human mouths, quickly retreated behind the black portal.

The Demon Lord glared fiercely at the black portal but was powerless.

Those monsters could freely open the portal, entering and leaving at will.

But the Demon Lord could neither open this black portal nor go through it.

Helplessly, he could only endure being bitten.

The Buddha looked at the Demon Lord and explained, ”The creatures inside seem to have chaotic minds, driven only by the instinct to devour flesh.”

”Only by devouring enough flesh can they regain sanity and be used by us.”

At that moment, the monster released by the Buddha had already arrived at the Underworld.

”It’s there!”

”Let’s observe the battle first!” said the Buddha to the Demon Lord.

...

...

Meanwhile.

An enormously expanded lizard-bodied, octopus-clawed, eye-covered Chaos Star Beast appeared above the Underworld.

”Roar!”

”Roar! Roar!”

The Chaos Star Beast let out furious roars, its Tier One pressure quickly enveloping the entire Underworld.

Having just won a victory, the many Netherworld Yin Spirits in the Underworld, even when faced with the Chaos Star Beast, showed no fear.

”What monster dares cause chaos in the Underworld?”

”What monster dares cause chaos in the Underworld?”

”What monster dares cause chaos in the Underworld?”

The numerous Netherworld Yin Spirits, wielding various weapons, glared angrily at the chaotic-faithful, shouting in a rage filled with fighting spirit.

”Chaos Star Beast?”

”Why is there a Chaos Star Beast here?”

At this time, Lin Yuan, sharing the view of the Yin Celestial Son, recognized this monster as the same Chaos Star Beast he saw in the Blood Coffin Dream Realm, the kind slain by the Human-headed Serpent-bodied Female Demon God.

”Yin Celestial Son, this is the Chaos Star Beast, the culprit that once annihilated the Three Thousand Demon Gods of the Returning Ruins.”

”You must be extremely careful. Do you need support?”

”We and the Heavenly Emperor of Returning Ruins will rush to support immediately!” Lin Yuan’s voice echoed in the Yin Celestial Son’s mind.

Upon hearing Lin Yuan’s words, the Yin Celestial Son quickly stated, ”The Demon Lord just sent disciples to cause trouble, and now this Chaos Star Beast appears!”

”I think, eight or nine times out of ten, this Chaos Star Beast is also the doing of the Demon Lord and the Buddha.”

”Now, the two of them have not acted, it’s highly likely to be a diversion tactic.”

”If you come to support, Heaven and Earth and the Returning Ruins will be left open, and they might very well attack Heaven and Earth and the Returning Ruins.”

”This Chaos Star Beast is just Tier One; the Underworld is my domain. I can handle them.”

”In any case, you keep an eye on the Demon Lord and the Buddha, the Chaos Star Beast is mine to deal with.”

Lin Yuan, through the Yin Celestial Son’s view, scrutinized the Chaos Star Beast.

Currently, the Chaos Star Beast invading the Underworld is much weaker than the Chaos Star Beast that was slain by the Human-headed Serpent-bodied Female Demon God in the Blood Coffin Dream Realm.

The Yin Celestial Son and the Chaos Star Beast are both Tier One, and the Yin Celestial Son has the home advantage, with no reason to be inferior to the Chaos Star Beast.

Thinking of this, Lin Yuan did not hurry to offer support, intending to make decisions based on the battlefield situation.

If the situation becomes disadvantageous, they and the Heavenly Emperor of Returning Ruins will support immediately.

Even if the Demon Lord and the Buddha take the opportunity to attack the Returning Ruins, it would be a small price to pay.

In Lin Yuan’s view, currently, the importance of the Underworld far outweighs that of the Returning Ruins.

The Returning Ruins could be lost, but the Underworld cannot be surrendered.

As for Heaven and Earth, the issue isn’t too severe, as the Demon Lord and the Buddha cannot personally descend there.

At most, they can only employ some means to create trouble in Heaven and Earth.
