Apocalypse: My Tattoos are Ten Yama Kings

The Buddha doesn’t say much, but patience is truly his virtue.

No matter how much the Demon Lord insults him, he neither retaliates nor responds.

At this time, if the Buddha were to respond with a few words, perhaps the Demon Lord would continue to curse.

Yet, the Buddha remains silent, and in the quiet chamber, there’s not a single sound.

Given this situation, the Demon Lord finds himself at a loss and loses interest in continuing to curse.

”Hmph!” The Demon Lord waves his robe and turns to leave.

Since the Buddha ignores him, staying any longer serves no purpose.

At the same time.

Inside the quiet chamber.

The Buddha is studying a mysterious black door, which stands there abruptly.

This mysterious black door was discovered by the Demon Lord when he entered the Returning Ruins years ago.

Just like Wa Huang’s Five-Colored Stone, this door is extremely mysterious, but its purpose remains unknown.

How can I put it?

It’s like knowing this thing is potentially powerful, yet you don’t know in what way, nor how to use it.

The Buddha is renowned for his foresight of five hundred years forward and backward, with extraordinary abilities in divination and predictions.

After the Yin Celestial Son brought the Underworld to invade the Void, the Buddha conducted a divination prediction.

The subject of the divination was how to defeat the Yin Celestial Son.

The outcome of the divination prediction leads to this mysterious black door.

These days, the Buddha has sequestered himself in this quiet chamber to study the purpose of this mysterious black door.

Unfortunately, despite days of research, progress is non-existent.

Just as the Demon Lord leaves, the Buddha senses strands of blood aura merging into the mysterious black door.

This blood aura emanates from the bodies of a few Buddha’s disciples slain by the Demon Lord earlier.

This mysterious black door showed no reaction after all the Buddha’s research for so long.

Yet now, upon contact with the blood aura, it reacts?

Upon realizing this, the Buddha acutely perceives that the blood aura might be the key to this mysterious black door.

Thus, with a thought, he moves several bodies outside to the mysterious black door.

At that moment, a horrifying scene unfolds.

A black tendril covered in eyes emerges from the mysterious door, swiftly curling the bodies and pulling them inside.

Seeing this, cold sweat ”swooshes” down the Buddha’s forehead.

Though the eyeball-laden tendril vanishes quickly, the Buddha still feels an immense terror from it.

”This...”

”What is this?” The Buddha is puzzled as to what mysterious place lies beyond this mysterious black door.

If Lin Yuan witnessed this, he would undoubtedly know what just took the bodies.

Once, in the Blood Coffin, Lin Yuan had a dream.

In the dream, a demon goddess with a snake body fought furiously against a tendril full of human hands.

The thing that just took the bodies was a tendril filled with eyes.

Although the two tendrils are somewhat different, they are clearly of the same origin.

At that time, the snake-bodied demon goddess mentioned it was a Chaos Star Beast.

...

...

The Demon Lord went to find the Buddha, but he didn’t meet him and only got angrier.

Upon returning, the more he thought about it, the angrier he became.

Beside him, upon hearing what happened, the Demon Lord’s disciples were also indignant on his behalf.

”Master, the Buddha doesn’t even regard you at all.”

”This alliance should be equal, where everything should be discussed together, but he tells you nothing. What kind of alliance is this?”

”To me, the Buddha is just treating you as a subordinate.”

”I say, let’s just go solo and not listen to the Buddha.”

”We can deal with the Yin Celestial Son on our own and show him some real power.”

...

...

The Demon Lord, already angry, gets even angrier after being incited by his disciples.

Gritting his teeth, he thinks, if the Buddha doesn’t regard me, then don’t blame me for not regarding you either.

Didn’t he tell me not to act rashly?

Fine then, I’m determined to act rashly.

However, the Demon Lord isn’t particularly clever in thinking things through.

Even given the chance to act rashly, he can’t immediately think of what to do.

The Demon Lord, wracking his brains, finally comes up with a plan.

And that is to send his own disciples to create chaos in the Underworld.

Thinking of this, the Demon Lord looks at the disciples who had been speaking earlier and instructs: ”You each take some of our sect’s disciples and infiltrate the Underworld, create havoc in there for me.”

The disciples: ”????”

”Huh!”

”You want us to go?”

The disciples’ faces are bewildered, their expressions are very complex.

Their expressions are comparable to Bon Buba hearing the Nine-Headed Worm instruct him to handle Tang Monk and his disciples.

The Underworld?

That’s Yin Celestial Son’s territory, not only with him as a Tier One Powerhouse but countless Yin Spirits as well.

If they enter the Underworld to cause trouble and land in the hands of the Yin Celestial Son, it would be dreadful punishment.

Without cooperation from the Buddha, even the Demon Lord wouldn’t dare enter the Underworld alone.

After all, the Underworld is the Yin Celestial Son’s stronghold, and intruding into another’s base, the Demon Lord might not be his match.

It is for this reason he decides to send disciples to create chaos.

All these disciples need to do is create chaos in the Underworld and vent the Demon Lord’s anger.

As for whether they live or die afterward, the Demon Lord doesn’t care.

In the Demon Lord’s eyes, these disciples are expendable.

The Demon Lord’s disciples are also quite cowardly; earlier, when they were urging the Demon Lord to confront the Buddha, they were all talkative.

Now, facing the task of causing chaos in the Underworld, they are pretending to be like ostriches hiding their heads in the sand.

Seeing his disciples so cowardly angers the already furious Demon Lord further: ”Speak up!”

”Why is no one speaking now?”

Under the intense glare of the Demon Lord, his disciples dare not remain silent and can only hesitantly say, ”Master, perhaps it’s better to discuss this further, let’s plan in the long run!”

Only now do they wish to plan further.

But the Demon Lord is in no mood to agree.

”Just now, it was you who said to go solo and show the Yin Celestial Son real power.”

”Now, you’re the ones saying to plan further?” The Demon Lord says as he glares with big eyes at his disciples, coldly asking, ”Are you afraid of dying?”

”There are no cowards under the Demon Lord. If you are afraid of dying, I’ll kill you now.”

The Demon Lord’s fury frightens these disciples.

At this moment, they dare not show any sign of fearing death.

Anyone who dares to say they’re afraid of death might find themselves killed by the Demon Lord on the spot.

Being the Demon Lord’s disciples, they’re well aware of his ruthless nature—brutal and unwavering.

Among the Demon Lord’s disciples, some are wise.

One smart disciple rolls his eyes and righteously declares, ”Master, it’s not that we fear death. We fear that our lack of ability might ruin your important plans.”
