Apocalypse: My Tattoos are Ten Yama Kings

The Underworld’s invasion of the Void was a challenge to the Demon Lord and the Buddha.

Previously, the Demon Lord and the Buddha were the ones initiating attacks, but now they found themselves on the defensive.

Previously, the flames of war burned on other people’s territories.

But now, the flames of war burned on their own territory.

The Demon Lord wanted to launch a direct attack on the Underworld, but the Buddha was more cautious, preferring to bide his time, find weaknesses, and deliver a fatal blow.

The Buddha temporarily convinced the Demon Lord not to act hastily.

In the following days, both sides were relatively calm.

Under the control of the Yin Celestial Son, the Underworld constantly expanded, consuming the Void.

The Demon Lord and the Buddha gathered their remaining disciples together at the Buddha’s Great Burial Heaven Temple.

During these days, the Yin Celestial Son continued to devour the Void, and the Underworld had more than doubled in size compared to when it first entered the Void.

In this situation, the Demon Lord was finding it hard to wait any longer.

The Buddha, during these days, was doing something unknown, always staying in his quiet chamber, rarely appearing.

”Wait!”

”If we keep waiting like this, the Void will be gone, and they’ll have reached our doorstep!” The faster the Yin Celestial Son’s invasion, the more anxious the Demon Lord became.

Adding to this, the Buddha remained unseen and seemed to have no countermeasures, making the Demon Lord unable to wait any longer.

The Demon Lord furrowed his brows and muttered to himself, ”I need to go find the Buddha to see exactly what he’s planning.”

The Buddha had continuously said he would find the Yin Celestial Son’s weaknesses, find weaknesses in the Underworld.

The problem is, the Buddha hadn’t gone to find them yet?

The Buddha spent each day alone in his quiet chamber, not seeing outsiders. This hardly seemed like he was searching for the Yin Celestial Son’s weaknesses.

Rather, it seemed like he was abandoning himself to despair.

The Demon Lord couldn’t hold back and went to find the Buddha.

However, as soon as the Demon Lord reached the quiet chamber’s door, he was stopped by the Buddha’s disciples.

”Lord Demon, Master is in seclusion, you cannot enter.” Several of Buddha’s disciples blocked the Demon Lord.

Demon Lord: ”????”

The Demon Lord’s eyes widened in disbelief.

Absurd, truly absurd.

Lin Yuan bullied him, the Yin Celestial Son bullied him, the Heavenly Emperor of Returning Ruins bullied him, Wa Huang bullied him...

Darn, now even Buddha’s disciples dared to stop him.

What’s going on?

Has the Demon Lord no face at all now?

”You bastards dare to stop me, are you asking for death?”

”Move aside, I want to see the Buddha!” the Demon Lord shouted angrily.

The Buddha was researching something important in his quiet chamber and could not be distracted or disturbed.

Thus, the Buddha gave strict orders to these disciples: under no circumstances allow anyone inside.

What the Buddha was working on involved a major secret.

This secret was unknown to the Demon Lord.

Furthermore, the Buddha had kept a trick up his sleeve; he did not intend for the Demon Lord to know this secret.

Thus, ”anyone” in the order to not let anyone in certainly included the Demon Lord.

Buddha’s disciples followed Buddha’s strict orders, naturally forbidding the Demon Lord from entering.

Though they feared the Demon Lord, they feared their master even more.

”Lord Demon, please don’t make it difficult for us!”

”Master really orders that no one is allowed inside.”

”If you insist on going in, are you not making things difficult for us?”

”If we let you in, Master will kill us for sure?” Despite feeling some crisis, Buddha’s disciples still steadfastly blocked the Demon Lord’s path.

Thus, the Demon Lord’s pride was even more bruised.

The Demon Lord thought, Fine! Fine!

You fear your Master the Buddha, but do you not fear me?

The Buddha might be able to kill you, but can’t I, the Demon Lord, kill you?

”Move aside!”

”If you dare block me again, do you believe I won’t kill you?” The Demon Lord issued a final warning.

Though frightened, Buddha’s disciples believed the Demon Lord wouldn’t really kill them.

After all, their Master Buddha was around, wasn’t he?

For Buddha’s sake, the Demon Lord would surely give their Master Buddha some face, right?

With this thought, Buddha’s disciples stubbornly remained in the Demon Lord’s path.

”No way!”

”Lord Demon, don’t make it difficult for me...”

The Demon Lord finally could not bear it any longer. He acted violently before Buddha’s disciples finished their speeches.

”Bang!”

”Bang! Bang!”

With a wave of the Demon Lord’s hand, several streams of energy flew at the heads of Buddha’s disciples, which exploded one after another like rotten watermelons.

Just as Buddha’s disciples died, Buddha’s voice came from within the quiet chamber: ”Demon Lord, what madness are you up to now?”

”Buddha, come out, I have a question for you!” the Demon Lord shouted toward the quiet chamber.

Buddha’s voice came from the quiet chamber: ”I have important matters to attend to, I cannot leave.”

The Demon Lord thought, if you have important matters and cannot leave, then let me in to discuss it with you.

So the Demon Lord shouted again toward the quiet chamber: ”Then open the door, I’ll come in to talk.”

”I have important matters, not convenient to meet guests.” Buddha’s voice came from the quiet chamber again.

To prevent the Demon Lord from barging into the quiet chamber, Buddha inside used Magic to place a restriction, sealing the chamber.

For a moment, the Buddha’s Radiance inside the chamber flared up, sending the Demon Lord a clear signal that he was not invited.

Demon Lord: ”?????”

The Demon Lord was quite filled with anger at this moment.

He asked Buddha to come out, but Buddha wouldn’t.

He wanted to go in himself, but Buddha wouldn’t let him.

To better deal with the Yin Celestial Son, the Demon Lord swallowed this indignation and asked Buddha: ”Buddha, the Yin Celestial Son’s speed of expansion is increasing, if this goes on, the Void will soon be completely consumed by him.”

”What are you planning to do?”

Inside the chamber, there was a long pause as Buddha seemed to ponder, and soon Buddha’s voice was heard: ”I have my own plans, don’t act rashly.”

Own plans?

Evidently, the Demon Lord was very unsatisfied with this answer.

”What exactly are your plans?” The Demon Lord asked through gritted teeth, barely holding back his anger.

However, Buddha had no intention of revealing anything to the Demon Lord and responded: ”You’ll find out one day.”

This time, the Demon Lord was truly enraged.

Because in his eyes, Buddha’s current demeanor did not look like someone with a plan.

But rather like someone sitting and waiting to die.

”A plan!”

”Your damn plan, you keep planning and they’ll reach our doorstep!”

”You enjoy staying in the quiet chamber, die in there, die inside as a cowardly turtle.”

”I was blind to have formed an alliance with such a useless partner!”

”Screw your grandmother’s leg...” the Demon Lord left a series of expletive-laden remarks outside the door.
