RE: LORD OF TIME

As William’s gaze fell upon True Wisdom, its details appeared before his eyes.

====

---) True Wisdom (Ancient): Greatly enhances your comprehension and ability to understand all forms of knowledge. By using spiritual items as a medium, you can give birth to a True Spirit within your Sea of Consciousness that will further enhance your comprehension ability and protect your Sea of Consciousness against mental attacks. Once every three months, you can communicate with the Source of the World.

====

William read the details of his Ancient-Grade Trait and immediately noticed the differences between the Legendary-Grade Wisdom and the Ancient-Grade True Wisdom.

The Legendary-Grade Wisdom also enhanced his comprehension and his ability to understand all forms of knowledge.

However, the boost it provided was significantly lower than that of the current True Wisdom.

Moreover, there had been nothing like giving birth to a True Spirit within his Sea of Consciousness to further enhance his comprehension and protect it from mental attacks.

William actually wasn’t sure what a True Spirit was, but judging from the description of his Trait, it was clearly something extremely valuable.

As for the spiritual items required to give birth to a True Spirit, they were treasures that benefited the soul and contained spiritual energy.

There was also the effect that allowed him to communicate with the Source of the World.

The Legendary-Grade Wisdom also possessed this ability, but it could only be used once every year, unlike the current version, which could be used once every three months.

Being able to communicate with the Source of the World was also the main reason William had been able to create the Supreme Star Scripture in his previous life.

Once he activated this effect of his Trait, his consciousness would connect directly to the Source of the World, granting him an absurd level of comprehension.

Moreover, it would also allow him to clearly perceive the very rules that governed the world.

It was as if an endless library of knowledge had been opened before him, allowing him to read and understand anything he desired.

Because the Wisdom Trait had only allowed him to use this ability once every year, William had only been able to communicate with the Source of the World a single time before his death in the original time line.

Yet even that one opportunity had been enough.

The knowledge he gained during that single connection had allowed him to complete the Supreme Star Scripture in just two months.

Although the Supreme Star Scripture could only be cultivated up to the Star King Realm, it was still an unbelievable achievement to create such a cultivation technique in such a short period of time.

And now, not only was his comprehension far greater because of True Wisdom, but he could also communicate with the Source of the World once every three months.

”Once I communicate with the Source of the World, even if I can’t create a complete cultivation technique that reaches all the way to the God Realm in a single attempt, I should at least be able to merge the beginning of the Timeless Scripture with the Supreme Star Scripture. I am only a Star Warrior right now, so there is no need to rush and create Chapters for the higher realms. I should first focus on the Star Warrior and Star Commander realms.”

William muttered with a thoughtful expression.

He could immediately communicate with the Source of the World using his Trait and try to merge the beginning of the Timeless Scripture with the Supreme Star Scripture.

However, he didn’t do so because there were still several other things he needed to check first.

”True Wisdom has reached a completely different level after evolving into an Ancient-Grade Trait. In that case, Sword Dominator should be the same.”

As he spoke, William looked at the details of his first Trait.

====

---) Sword Dominator (Ancient): Passively increases the power of all your sword-related moves by 350%. You can learn all low-level sword arts with a single glance, while higher-level sword arts can be mastered with only a little practice. You can refine a sword into your Soul Armament, granting it limitless growth potential.

====

After reading the details of the Sword Dominator Trait, William’s breathing couldn’t help but hitch slightly.

Compared to the Legendary-Grade Sword Master, it hadn’t changed much.

However, the changes it had undergone were more than enough to excite him.

”The power of my sword-related moves increased from 200% to 350%...”

That was a full increase of 150%.

William’s current strength was already terrifying.

If the power of all his sword moves were increased by another 350%, he felt that very few people at the same realm would be able to stand against him.

Note that this increase applies to all of his sword attacks, not just sword-related skills or techniques.

In a sense, even if he simply swings his sword normally, its power will increase by 350% on its own.

The Trait had also enhanced his learning ability even further whenever it came to anything related to swords.

In addition, he could refine a sword into his own Soul Armament.

Soul Armaments were weapons directly connected to a person’s soul.

As their owner became stronger, the Soul Armament would also continue to evolve along with them.

Normally, not every weapon could be refined into a Soul Armament.

Weapons capable of becoming Soul Armaments had to be forged from extremely high-grade materials.

Not only that, numerous spiritual treasures had to be incorporated during the forging process to make the weapon compatible with the user’s soul.

Most importantly, an Astral Rift Core had to be used as one of the primary forging materials.

Without it, a weapon simply couldn’t become a Soul Armament.

However, William’s Trait completely ignored all of those requirements.

It allowed him to refine any sword into a Soul Armament.

There were no restrictions whatsoever.

As long as it was a sword, he could transform it into his Soul Armament.

Of course, it was still much better to use a sword forged from high-grade materials.

Even though a cheap sword could also become a Soul Armament, its initial quality would still affect its overall potential.

William had already asked Vivian to forge a sword for him so once he entered the academy, he would refine that sword into his Soul Armament.

”Ancient-Grade Traits really are terrifying. No wonder that guy in the original timeline was able to cause such chaos on the battlefield...”

William muttered with a shake of his head as he recalled a certain person.

====

---) Name: William

---) Realm: Star Warrior (Early Stage)

---) Cultivation Technique: Supreme Star Scripture

---) Traits: Sword Dominator (Ancient), True Wisdom (Ancient)

---) Title: God of Time’s Heir, Favored by the Supreme

---) Bloodline: None

---) Skills: Eyes of Insight (Rank One), Time Acceleration (Growth-Type)

---) Ability: Overload

---) Seven Steps of Supreme (???)

====

He looked at his status window once again, and his eyes paused on the Bloodline section.

He wasn’t surprised when he saw that the Bloodline section was still empty, as it had been the same in the original timeline.

However, back then, he hadn’t known about the peculiarity of his blood.

But now that he knew, he obviously wasn’t going to ignore it.

’In some cases, people need special treasures or Bloodline Potions to awaken their dormant bloodlines. It’s certain that I possess a special bloodline, but it’s most likely still dormant. In the future, I will have to keep an eye out for anything capable of awakening a person’s bloodline.’

William also thought about Samuel.

’If Samuel can successfully awaken his bloodline as well, the problem with his body might finally be resolved.’

He stared at the Bloodline section for several seconds before shifting his attention to the Title section.

====

---) God of Time’s Heir: You are blessed by the God of Time. All negative time-related effects are 50% less effective against you.

====

William raised an eyebrow after reading the details of his first title.

’Negative time-related effects... This title seems to grant some level of resistance against time-based attacks...’

As he thought about it, he couldn’t help but feel a little strange.

As far as he could remember, even in the original timeline, he had never heard of anyone capable of wielding powers related to time. So who was he going to use it against?

”It seems this title won’t be very useful for me...”

He muttered with a shake of his head before looking at the second title.

====

---) Favored by the Supreme: You have glimpsed a Supreme Being and successfully survived. Your luck has increased slightly.

====

William showed a strange expression after reading the details of the second title.

Especially after reading the words successfully survived.

’Was my life actually in danger back then?’

He couldn’t help but break out in a cold sweat, feeling relieved that whatever danger had existed hadn’t killed him.

If he had died simply because he looked at that mysterious being, he would have become an international joke after his death.

”The effect of this title is quite interesting... increasing my luck, huh.”

William couldn’t help but think about the drop rates inside Astral Rifts.

’Does this mean I will have a higher chance of obtaining treasures after killing monsters inside Astral Rifts from now on?’

As the thought crossed his mind, his eyes gleamed slightly and he took a deep breath to calm down.

Unfortunately, he wouldn’t be able to enter an Astral Rift anytime soon.

Suddenly, his eyes fell upon Seven Steps of Supreme on his status window, and the corners of his mouth twitched.

”When I saw that Supreme Being, I always felt like he was pretending to be cool. Now even the skill I received from him is acting like an empress. It’s also a skill, yet instead of appearing in the Skills section, it created an entirely separate section for itself.”

William had the strange feeling that the Seven Steps of Supreme was trying to tell him:

”This empress is different from those peasant skills in your Skills section.”

He shook his head helplessly to clear away the ridiculous thought before immediately setting off, running far away from his home and the surrounding farmlands.

Now that he had reached the Star Warrior Realm, he wanted to test the Seven Steps of Supreme and see whether he could finally use it.

Half an hour later, he arrived at a completely deserted area. By this time, most of his Aether Energy that he had used earlier already recovered.

”Let’s see...”

William took a deep breath and was just about to activate the Seven Steps of Supreme when he suddenly sensed violent energy fluctuations gathering above his head.

He immediately stopped and looked up.

And as he looked up, he saw the surrounding Aether Energy was rioting violently, as though something extraordinary was about to happen.
