Super Strong Little Divine Farmer

Chapter 989: Chapter 990: Missed Opportunity

Su Wanrou had been on numerous flights, already exhausted, and now with the shock of encountering bandits and an appendicitis flare-up, she was drenched in sweat, feeling sticky all over.

Lin Chen nodded, ”I’ll wait for you.”

Soon, the sound of running water echoed from the bathroom.

Lin Chen sat on the bed and couldn’t help but glance towards the bathroom, where a pale silhouette faintly appeared amongst the mist.

As Su Wanrou moved, the bumps on her body shuddered along with her, making Lin Chen’s nostrils tingle with heat.

No, he couldn’t watch any longer. If he continued, there would be no way to treat the beauty later.

Just as Lin Chen was about to avert his gaze, suddenly Su Wanrou slipped inside the bathroom and fell to the ground with a thud.

”Oh no, she actually fell,” Lin Chen’s expression changed, as he hurriedly approached the bathroom door.

”How are you?” Lin Chen asked.

From inside came Su Wanrou’s somewhat pained voice, ”I’m fine.”

Using his peering eyes, Lin Chen saw Su Wanrou trying to stand up, but with a pain in her foot, she let out a moan and sat back down.

”A sprained ankle,” Lin Chen immediately identified the problem.

”Don’t move, I’ll come in,” Lin Chen quickly said.

”No, don’t come in!” Hearing Lin Chen was about to enter the bathroom, Su Wanrou panicked.

However, before her voice had finished, the door was already pushed open forcefully by Lin Chen.

Su Wanrou froze; wasn’t the door locked? How could it be opened so easily?

Lin Chen walked in; currently Su Wanrou was sitting on the ground, her delicate, pretty face somewhat pale with pain, her brows slightly furrowed, biting her silver teeth tightly, making one feel deep affection upon seeing her.

Most importantly, at this moment, Su Wanrou wasn’t wearing anything.

”You...” Su Wanrou saw Lin Chen, her pretty face immediately flushed red, reflexively using her hands to cover her embarrassing parts.

That shy look ignited a fire in Lin Chen, nearly driving him to an impulsive urge.

But, naturally, Lin Chen wouldn’t act on this impulse; he took a bathrobe from the side and draped it over Su Wanrou, gently lifted her up.

”Let me go.” Not only had Lin Chen seen her entire body, but now he was holding her; Su Wanrou tried to struggle free.

”Don’t move, your ankle is sprained, it needs immediate treatment,” Lin Chen’s voice contained a bit of sternness.

Faced with Lin Chen’s commanding presence, Su Wanrou felt like a reprimanded little girl, immediately stopping her protests.

However, her heart was racing like countless little deer, secretly worrying, would this guy take advantage and do...?

As she imagined the scenario, Su Wanrou felt both worried and inexplicably nervous.

Lin Chen, holding her charming figure, was filled with thoughts; this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, if missed, there might be no next time.

Yet quickly Lin Chen dismissed this notion.

After all, he’s not a beast, taking advantage of one’s plight would be worse than a beast.

With this thought, Lin Chen gently placed Su Wanrou on the bed.

Now separated from Lin Chen’s body, Su Wanrou hurriedly wrapped her nightwear around herself, timidly looking at Lin Chen.

Clearly, the pain from her sprained ankle was still tormenting her, biting her silver teeth, she was clearly enduring.

Lin Chen awkwardly smiled, ”Don’t worry, I’m not a beast, nor will I do such things to you, but your sprain is severe and needs immediate treatment, otherwise it might leave a lasting injury.”

Upon hearing Lin Chen’s assurance, Su Wanrou finally breathed a sigh of relief, extending her injured foot.

However, when Lin Chen’s hand touched her foot, Su Wanrou couldn’t help but slightly tremble.

That feeling was so strange that it made her heart ripple.

At this time, Lin Chen’s face was serious, his eyes focused on her injured area.

Su Wanrou’s foot was very beautiful, white, tender, delicate, and smooth to the touch, truly the finest of the fine.

But at the ankle, there was a blue lump that was swollen.

Lin Chen’s hand gently touched the swollen part, causing Su Wanrou to cry out in pain.

”Your foot bone should be fractured, and the cartilage is also injured.” Lin Chen said calmly.

”Stop kidding, bone injuries can only be seen through X-rays, how can you diagnose my injury just by touching a few times?” Su Wanrou didn’t believe Lin Chen’s words.

”For such an injury, if you go to the hospital, they’ll probably insert steel pins and plates, if you doubt me, I can send you to the hospital now.” Lin Chen replied calmly.

Lin Chen’s words made Su Wanrou shiver inside; inserting pins and plates, it must be incredibly painful.

”What if you treat it?” Su Wanrou asked tentatively.

After all, Lin Chen had just demonstrated his medical skill, he had relieved her appendicitis pain with just a few touches.

Lin Chen smiled lightly, ”This minor injury, I can massage it away.”

”What? Fractured foot bones, tendon injuries healed with just a massage?” Su Wanrou was stunned.

Su Wanrou was, after all, a doctor, and understood how tricky such injuries were; claiming to heal it with a massage was absurd.

”Well, if you don’t object, I’ll start the massage.” Lin Chen smiled and said.

”Okay!” Su Wanrou nodded, though she didn’t believe him, she still wanted Lin Chen to try.

After all, if it were as severe as Lin Chen said at the hospital, she probably wouldn’t be able to walk for several months.

Lin Chen’s hand gently pressed on Su Wanrou’s foot, a cool sensation emanating from his hand, spreading throughout her body, nearly making her cry out.

Soon, Su Wanrou felt Lin Chen’s hand growing warmer, a continuous stream of warmth flowing into her bones.

After about ten minutes, Lin Chen released Su Wanrou’s foot, smiling and saying, ”Try walking now.”

”Can it work?” Su Wanrou looked at Lin Chen doubtfully, although her foot no longer hurt, this was a sprained ankle; it takes a hundred days for bone and tendon injuries to heal, how could it be healed so fast?

However, seeing Lin Chen’s clear eyes, Su Wanrou decided to try standing.

Su Wanrou tried walking a few steps, and to her disbelief, her foot really didn’t hurt anymore.

”Divine Doctor, truly a Divine Doctor!” Su Wanrou was utterly shocked, her gaze towards Lin Chen changed.

Lin Chen smiled lightly, ”Prepare yourself, I’ll cure your appendicitis too.”

Su Wanrou blushed, ”Maybe don’t bother, it doesn’t hurt now.”

Lin Chen shook his head, ”That’s not good; although it doesn’t hurt now, weather changes could cause inflammation symptoms, and each episode would worsen.”
