Chapter 988: Chapter 989: Massage to Treat Appendicitis

Lin Chen’s hand gently pressed on Su Wanrou’s wrist, and he calmly said, ”Does your right lower abdomen feel like being pricked every few seconds?”

Su Wanrou was taken aback by Lin Chen’s words, ”How did you know?”

”It should be acute appendicitis. Let me give you a massage to stabilize your condition.”

”How can massage work for acute appendicitis?” Su Wanrou, being a doctor herself, had some understanding of acute appendicitis.

At this moment, Su Wanrou clearly felt that the pain in her abdomen was becoming more severe, so much so that her lovely face was already covered in fragrant sweat.

”Don’t worry, my massage technique is passed down through generations and it’s very effective,” Lin Chen smiled and said.

”This!”

Su Wanrou is a very conservative girl. Although she had been pursued by many boys during school, she rejected them all one by one.

So Su Wanrou had never had any intimate contact with a boy.

Now that Lin Chen was going to massage her, his hands would inevitably have close contact with her skin, and just imagining that scene made her blush.

”Can you really do it?” Su Wanrou bit her lip and stared into Lin Chen’s eyes with her clear eyes.

”Don’t worry, although it can’t cure completely, it will ease the pain,” Lin Chen smiled again.

Looking at Lin Chen’s sincere gaze, Su Wanrou finally nodded, ”Then please.”

Even though she had made up her mind, her heart was beating like a little deer nervously.

Lin Chen nodded and said calmly, ”For the massage, you’ll need to lift your shirt.”

”Ah, I have to lift my shirt?” Su Wanrou was visibly nervous, and her pretty face flushed.

”Hey, you’re a medical student, after all. How can I treat you without lifting your shirt?” Lin Chen said helplessly.

”But!” Su Wanrou wanted to negotiate with Lin Chen.

”Your situation is really urgent now, if this continues it might perforate, so you need to lift your shirt for the massage immediately,” Lin Chen said seriously.

Su Wanrou felt increasing pain in her abdomen. Knowing that Lin Chen wasn’t bluffing, she had to nod, shyly lifting her shirt.

Lin Chen’s gaze fell on her abdomen, which was as smooth as white jade. Her skin was fair and smooth, emitting a faint fragrance.

Lin Chen took a deep breath, steadied his mind, and was just about to start the massage when Su Wanrou suddenly grabbed his hand.

”I’m sorry, I’m not ready yet,” Su Wanrou said a bit embarrassed.

Lin Chen chuckled, ”It’s okay, take a deep breath, it will be fine soon.”

Su Wanrou shyly nodded, her eyes looking at Lin Chen like water, then she took a deep breath and closed her eyes.

At that moment, Su Wanrou felt waves of warmth entering her abdomen, and miraculously, the pain disappeared without a trace.

What surprised Su Wanrou more was that Lin Chen’s massage gave her an indescribable feeling.

The warm sensation in her heart caused a small turbulent feeling, subtle and gentle, making her unable to extricate herself from it.

As Lin Chen continued the massage, the color returned to Su Wanrou’s face.

The pain in her abdomen had long vanished, and Su Wanrou quietly opened her eyes.

Looking at Lin Chen’s chiseled face, she suddenly found that he was indeed handsome and charming when he was focused.

Su Wanrou’s heart pounded with nervousness mixed with shyness.

”Does it still hurt?” After a few more minutes of massage, Lin Chen withdrew his hand.

”No, it doesn’t hurt, thank you,” Su Wanrou said shyly.

When Lin Chen’s hand left her abdomen, for some reason, Su Wanrou felt a sense of reluctance.

”How could I ever think that?” Su Wanrou’s heart felt shy, bowing her head, her face red like a ripe apple.

Seeing that Su Wanrou was fine, Lin Chen started the car.

”We should find a hotel, and with acupuncture, I can completely cure your appendicitis while it’s inflamed,” Lin Chen said while driving.

”Isn’t appendicitis only curable with surgery or minimally invasive procedures?” Su Wanrou asked curiously.

”That’s the Western medicine method, which is painful and leaves scarring. I’m using traditional Chinese medicine, which is painless with no scarring, just a few needles to ensure your appendix won’t bother you again,” Lin Chen smiled.

”Really? You sound like those old experts advertising on TV,” Su Wanrou said, looking at Lin Chen with a smile.

”I’m the real deal, not like those fakes,” Lin Chen said confidently.

At this moment, Lin Chen drove off the highway and saw a motel ahead.

”How about booking a room, beautiful?” Lin Chen grinned.

”Booking a room?” Su Wanrou’s face turned red.

Lin Chen chuckled, ”Relax, I’m just treating your ailment, no other intentions.”

Su Wanrou shyly nodded, ”Alright, you lock the car, I’ll get the room!”

Su Wanrou got out of the car and walked into the hotel, where a sleazy uncle was snoozing with his eyes half-closed.

Upon hearing footsteps, he quickly woke up, and his eyes lit up when he saw Su Wanrou.

”Wow, this beauty is really something.”

He was about to strike up a conversation when Lin Chen finished locking the car and followed her in.

Seeing Lin Chen follow in, the boss deflated like a balloon, muttering inwardly, ”All the good girls get taken by guys like this.”

”This beauty is one in a hundred, and she’s with someone dressed in cheap clothes, idle-looking, with no class.”

”Don’t women nowadays like classy uncle-types like me?”

Just as he contemplated how confident he felt in luring this beauty away from Lin Chen, a gentle voice chimed in.

”Boss, I’d like to book a standard room,” Su Wanrou said with a smile.

The boss hurriedly snapped out of his daydream and replied with a smile, ”Sure, here’s your key, have fun, Miss and Sir.”

Hearing the boss’s words, Su Wanrou’s face flushed red. The boss had mistaken them for that kind of couple.

She didn’t bother to explain, grabbed the key, and went up the stairs.

The boss glanced at Lin Chen and sighed, ”Wow, he’s just a fair-skinned guy, I can’t comprehend young people nowadays.”

Lin Chen was puzzled why the boss looked at him with a hint of hostility.

He followed Su Wanrou upstairs and entered a standard room.

The room was lit with warm lights, creating a very suggestive atmosphere.

Su Wanrou whispered, ”Can I take a shower first?”
