Super Strong Little Divine Farmer

Chapter 877: Chapter 878: The Security Guard’s Conspiracy

Two people were driving when Li Yuqing suddenly stopped the car at the entrance of a supermarket.

”Aren’t we going home?” Lin Chen curiously asked.

Li Yuqing gave Lin Chen a dismissive look: ”The house is empty, do you plan to go home and eat air?”

Lin Chen nodded awkwardly: ”My cooking is indeed very good, but even a clever chef can’t cook without rice.”

The two entered the supermarket, picked out quite a few ingredients, and prepared to pay.

At this moment, Lin Chen’s phone started ringing. The supermarket was too noisy, so Lin Chen said, ”I’m going to step outside to take the call and wait for you out there.”

Li Yuqing nodded and continued to queue, while Lin Chen started walking out as he answered the call.

It turned out the call was from Anna. They had recently received reliable intelligence that someone was planning to make a move on Zhao Bin, so the higher-ups wanted Lin Chen to be responsible for Zhao Bin’s personal security duty.

”But I’m really busy right now, with university league matches starting soon, and the World Martial Arts Tournament is not far off,” Lin Chen hesitated.

”How about this, Zhao Bin is currently in Capital City for a conference. The place has top guards from the Hua Xia Security Bureau, so the opponents wouldn’t dare to make a move. However, Zhao Bin is sentimental and wants to revisit places where he used to stay when he was younger. By that time, both the basketball championship and martial arts tournament should have ended,” Anna said.

Lin Chen nodded: ”Okay then, we’ll discuss it further when the time comes.”

At this moment, there were only a few people ahead before it was Li Yuqing’s turn to pay.

At the security check, a chubby security captain named Zhang Yong lecherously ogled Li Yuqing, his eyes glinting with depravity.

He had been observing Li Yuqing for a long time; most customers who shopped here were older women, and it was rare to see such a beautiful girl come by.

Zhang Yong’s eyes narrowed slightly and he said, ”Monkey, how is that chick?”

”Boss, you noticed her too. She’s fresh and juicy, it would be awesome to touch her,” Monkey whispered.

”How about we make a move,” the security captain said sinisterly.

Monkey nodded: ”Leave it to me,” and then he approached Li Yuqing.

Li Yuqing had just finished paying and was passing through the security checkpoint when suddenly an alarm beeped.

Zhang Yong waddled over with his chubby body and blocked Li Yuqing’s way: ”Miss, wait a second, we suspect you’ve taken something from our supermarket.”

Hearing the security’s words, Li Yuqing was taken aback: ”How can that be possible, I just paid for all the items I bought!”

Monkey said with a grin, ”Beauty, are you still trying to play dumb with us? We’re not talking about what’s in your basket, but what’s on you.”

”On me?” Li Yuqing was stunned and then her expression changed.

”What nonsense are you spouting? I didn’t take anything from you.”

Zhang Yong snorted coldly: ”We’ll know whether you took it or not after a search.”

By now, quite a few people had gathered around, pointing and murmuring towards Li Yuqing.

”This girl is quite pretty, I can’t believe she would steal from the supermarket.”

”Tsk, looks can be deceiving, some people just like to take small advantages.”

Hearing the surrounding whispers, Zhang Yong and Monkey became even more arrogant: ”Take off your jacket, we need to conduct a body search.”

”This is slander, I didn’t steal anything from you, what right do you have to search me?” Li Yuqing also became angry.

Seeing Li Yuqing’s uncooperative attitude, Zhang Yong snorted: ”If you’re not going to cooperate, then don’t blame us.”

As he spoke, Zhang Yong swallowed saliva, and those big, chubby hands of his reached towards Li Yuqing’s collar.

Li Yuqing wanted to resist, but the monkey grabbed her tightly, rendering her unable to move.

Just as Zhang Yong’s hand was about to grasp Li Yuqing’s collar, suddenly his wrist was caught by someone.

Then, accompanied by a crisp ”crack” sound, Zhang Yong screamed in agony as his wrist was twisted and broken by someone.

The next moment, Lin Chen delivered a whip kick, striking Monkey squarely.

The security guard who was holding Li Yuqing was kicked by Lin Chen’s whip kick and sent flying four or five meters away.

The scene that unfolded shocked everyone present.

Seeing the person who appeared, Li Yuqing’s face lit up with joy: ”Lin Chen, you’re back.”

Lin Chen’s face was icy, his eyes flashing with a touch of anger.

Li Yuqing’s cheapness was something he wouldn’t even take; yet these two pieces of trash, one fat and one skinny, were like toads lusting after swan meat.

Zhang Yong, clutching his twisted hands, bellowed with a grimace: ”Well then, you’ve got accomplices.”

At this moment, the skinny security guard climbed up, wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, and shouted: ”Brothers, come over quickly, we’ve got a tough nut here.”

Following the skinny security guard’s call, immediately another seven or eight security guards rushed over, encircling Lin Chen and Li Yuqing.

Zhang Yong’s face darkened as he looked at them: ”Kid, you’ve got some nerve, stealing and then daring to hit us.”

Lin Chen sneered coldly: ”Which eye of yours saw her stealing? It seems to me you’re not after a search, but rather taking advantage of her, am I right?”

Having his ruse exposed by Lin Chen, Zhang Yong’s face slightly changed, showing a vicious look: ”Guys, this kid is a thief and even assaults people, get him, beat him brutally.”

The other security guards, although aware that Zhang Yong and Monkey often took advantage of girls, still had to obey their head of security, knowing if they didn’t, they’d surely face repercussions later on, so they charged at Lin Chen wielding batons.

Zhang Yong and Monkey both had a cold smile on their faces, already imagining beating Lin Chen to the ground and then dragging Li Yuqing to the security room, where they could freely grope her tender body.

Their thoughts were pleasant, but reality was brutal.

Although cries of agony rang out, they weren’t from Lin Chen, but from the other security guards.

Zhang Yong was not yet finished daydreaming when his men had already been beaten down by Lin Chen.

”What the hell!” Zhang Yong was completely dumbfounded, and Monkey also shrank back in fright.

After dealing with those security guards, Lin Chen’s gaze turned icy as he walked toward Zhang Yong.

Zhang Yong, seeing Lin Chen’s cold eyes, his face turned uglier, his legs trembling.

”Stop!” Accompanied by an angry roar, a middle-aged woman came over.

Seeing this middle-aged woman, Lin Chen’s eyes narrowed slightly.

This woman had been standing not far away watching the commotion unfold, only stepping forward when things got out of control, which could only mean one thing: this woman was connected to the fat security guard.

Indeed, as soon as she came over, the woman said angrily: ”Young man, I am the deputy manager of this supermarket. You dared to steal and then assault our staff, and I’ve already called the police.”

Lin Chen snorted coldly: ”You keep saying my friend stole your stuff, do you have any evidence?”

Zhao Ling snorted: ”Whether there’s evidence or not, we’ll know after a search.”

Meanwhile, murmurs started to spread among the onlookers: ”These two young people are too much, not only taking people’s stuff but also assaulting their staff.”

”Yes, it’s completely lawless, wait for the police to come and arrest them.”

Lin Chen, hearing the surrounding chatter, laughed coldly: ”Are you sure you actually called the police just now?”
