Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

As soon as the ’Banner’ descended from the sky, it was surrounded by assault-type Bio-Fusioners and mechanical ninjas.

This future Standard Bearer also displayed battle prowess befitting his fame.

The difference between a ’Great Knight’ and a ’Knight’ is that after countless dangerous mechanical body adjustments, Biomechanical Unity is no longer an explosive skill, but an Additional State that can be maintained for a long time.

Facing these Mother City elites above level 20, the massive mechanical body adjusted rapidly, muscle-like mechanical pipes began to rotate, and steel blades on the mechanical armor swiftly flipped, squeezing out solid muscles.

As a Bio-Fusioner sprinted, his arm transformed quickly, protruding a ten-meter-long biological spear, and the mucus on the spear shaft splintered into water molecules as it vibrated at high speed. But when the spear shaft heavily pierced into ’Banner’s’ body, it was like sinking into the sea without any movement.

In the next moment, ’Banner’s’ mechanical fist appeared on the Bio-Fusioner’s forehead, and needle-like pores suddenly emerged on the fist surface, returning the sound burst with doubled power.

With a sound like a tank cannon firing, the Bio-Fusioner was smashed fifty meters away, hitting a rock heavily, cracking it and causing his ’Bio-Fusion Armor’ to develop a large number of irreparable cracks.

The power of this punch was at least 5000 points, and more importantly, this sonic punch directly terminated the ’Bio-Fusion Armor’.

Another Bio-Fusioner leaped from behind, eight energy nozzles on his back lit up, emitting eight beams of particle streams, while his right arm transformed into an electromagnetic toothed blade, viciously slashing down.

However, ’Banner’ spun around like lightning, grabbing the electromagnetic toothed blade with his left hand, while his right hand quickly transformed into an even larger electromagnetic toothed blade, cutting the Bio-Fusioner in half with swift strokes. This one was even more unfortunate, being bisected alive.

The body was thrown to the ground, with the black liquid formed by the Bio-Fusion Armor intertwining but unable to repair the body.

The man was dead, but the Bio-Fusion Armor still lived.

Standing five meters tall, ’Banner’ looked like a cross between ’Ultron’ and a ’Sentinel Robot,’ with similar abilities, enhancing defense with organisms and attacking with mechanical transformation. Enemy attacks were either absorbed selectively or doubled back to them.

Even with a dozen Bio-Fusioners and mechanical ninjas besieging him, this guy handled it with ease, those red electronic eyes staring straight at Gao Gong miles away.

That was the real culprit behind it all.

Eliminate him, and there’s a chance to turn the situation around.

Gao Gong grinned, beckoning with his finger: ”This world is much larger than I imagined? Prove it to me.”

Anger flashed in ’Banner’s’ eyes; these were words from a long-ago conversation, and back then, their statuses were worlds apart, one a severely wounded native stray, the other the mastermind toppling a desert regime.

But now, their positions seemed to have reversed momentarily, he had become the hunted, and the one before him had become the real culprit who sabotaged the Hydra plan.

’Banner’ crushed a stealth-attacking mechanical ninja, twenty jet-like exhaust ports sprouted under the mechanical blades. The ferocious impulse allowed him to charge at the opponent within seconds, delivering a fierce punch.

Yet, the next moment, within a 10*10m area, the EMP field activated without any warning, lighting brightly. ’Banner’ stumbled just off the ground, the mechanical body losing connection in seconds.

A giant Bio-Fusion hammer suddenly appeared, tearing through the air and brutally hammering its opponent, sending them flying over a hundred meters away and creating several small pits and a ten-meter-long ’tunnel’ on the ground.

At the tunnel’s end, ’Banner’ clambered up with a sizzle all over, eyes scanning over the shuriken and darts embedded in the ground, all emitting the same glow.

They were all things he had knocked away.

’Linked weapons?’

All mechanical ninjas’ hidden weapons were of the same model and installed with linkage devices, generating an EMP field resonating when reaching a certain quantity.

As for the giant hammer that cracked his three mechanical pipes, it was a deep biological transformation of the Bio-Fusion Armor.

Mr. Xiao and Mr. Matsumoto exchanged smiles and almost without hesitation, charged forward with their subordinates.

Two level-30 elites, leading over thirty near full-level Mother City elites, to take on a boss with a Leader Template of level 30, both sides unleashed their skills, and the battle was intense.

’Banner’ was on par with Demon Mountain, but unlike Demon Mountain’s high offense and weak defense, ’Banner’ was more well-rounded, a standard Hexagon Warrior, combing biological evolution with mechanical transformation with barely any weaknesses.

However, on the flip side, he had no particularly outstanding features, unable to deliver a tenfold damage burst like Demon Mountain’s super outbursts.

After all, Biomechanical Technology isn’t truly a fusion route, merely mechanical bodies and organisms complementing each other.

’In normal history, Banner won. At least I haven’t heard of Demon Mountain, most likely falling in this Beast Tide.’

’But now, hmm.’

As Gao Gong thought, he summoned three more helpers: Colonel Kep, ’Little Demon Mountain’ Iron Madman, and Shadow High Tree, these three also level-30 Mother City elites.

As the trio joined the battle, the pressure on ’Banner’ instantly increased.

Iron Madman roared, unleashing countless air cannons forming a giant air tiger mid-air.

’Banner’ retreated abruptly, squeezing out at least forty air vents while the mechanical armor transformed into variously sized ’wind turbines,’ inhaling the raging wind in a curious manner to resolve the AOE attack.

’Banner’ landed lightly, hands gently touching the ground, and the next moment, a terrible earthquake erupted within the area, the ground shaking violently, the air blurring, causing the Bio-Fusioners’ armor to liquefy.

However, the next moment, a dozen mechanical ninjas appeared mid-air; their nerve-enhanced sense of direction allowed them to ignore the tremors, stepping through the air, semi-crouching, single-hand gripping swords. These mechanical ninjas seemed to ditch long-range enhancements, exchanging it for powerful explosive power.

In their electronic eyes, data scrolled madly, and driven by combat chips, their Iaijutsu success rate was very high. The ’Elite’ level Iaijutsu they trained from young, coupled with combat chip assistance, reached a formidable power.

Everyone in the spotlight had their backgrounds: Xiao Tong had the Xiao Family, while Old Man Matsumoto’s backing was the samurai class eliminated by the tides of time.

The Knight Order’s combat system lacked combat chips, for any combat system is prone to hacking by major corporation hackers, a vulnerability the Knight Order learned from past mistakes.

Without combat chips, a downside was often needing to ’brain control’ instead of ’machine control,’ leading to ’Banner’ making a misjudgment in such situations.

In terms of explosiveness, mechanical ninjas far surpassed Bio-Fusioners.

Blade flashes shimmered as countless sound burst blade lights exploded continuously; ’Banner’s’ hands transformed into oversized samurai swords, initially absorbing kinetic energy, withstanding a blow only to counter and explode their bodies. But after enduring five sound burst slashes, a small segment of a mechanical duct in the waist rib suffered a ’weak point effect.’

This small segment of the mechanical duct was specifically transformed to counter the ’Tiger Splitting Technique.’

And coincidentally, it was connected to his energy system.

A short circuit lasting just one second made him endure nearly ten sound burst slashes.

If Gao Gong remembered correctly, his Iaijutsu back then took away more than 3000 points of the Reaper’s blood volume.

No matter how strong the blood volume of a Level 30 humanoid boss is, it can’t compare to a same-level Radiation Beast.

’Time to go all out.’

Gao Gong squinted slightly, as an excellent schemer, there’s no way he would treat the other party like a hot-blooded male protagonist.

On his palm, the electromagnetic rifle ’Storm’ was slowly aimed.

However, in the next moment, the ’Neural Radar’ suddenly issued a warning, and ’Bullet Time’ activated at the moment of the warning.

In the next moment, Gao Gong’s figure overlapped heavily, and countless blood threads pierced out from the air.

’Holy crap, what the hell is this.’

Gao Gong suddenly looked up, and in the sky, the Crimson Empress had already been devoured by the beast tide with no remains.

However, with the ’Radiation Field Mastery’, his ’sight’ was blood-red, and the giant Crimson Empress, like a ghost, crawled towards him. Those blood threads were the ghost, oh no, the Empress’s long hair.

’What on earth, mutant energy body, beast tide will backlash, or information generation?’

With the keen eye of an SP leader, Gao Gong quickly discerned that this was a special mutation phenomenon, born from the remaining neural network of the Crimson Empress, fused with the mutant energy of the beast tide.

Her target was obviously himself, no, his body which had fused with various advanced cells.

Goodness, I only want your life, and you’re craving my body.

”Huh?”

However, in Gao Gong’s ’eyes’, this ’Crimson Empress’ had a vacant expression, showing no emotional fluctuation.

It seemed this was just the last action of the neuronal cells, like certain body parts still moving after death.

Gao Gong suddenly thought of a possibility.

The possibility of male and female fusion.

Top mechanical plugins are rather easy to get on this planet, after all, the mastermind behind the Cyber Test Field is a Level 7 Mechanical Civilization.

Top biological plugins are much harder to obtain.

Only a few places, like top laboratories of Giant Corporations, the Revenge Highlands of the Knight Order, the Alien Club in Cloud City, the Spark Base of the Civilization Era, and some super monsters bred from the Cyber Wave have them.

The Cyber Wave is out of the question; before its launch, he hadn’t even reached level 60, so he could prepare to escape.

The rest of the places are either heavily guarded or impossible to find.

Isn’t this a dream come true for a quasi S-level biological gene delivered to you?

However, this way, biological rejection will definitely skyrocket, and there’s a possibility of things going wrong.

The will of the Crimson Empress is bound to seek revival.

In the short term, most of his combat power will be sealed.

Gao Gong quickly weighed the pros and cons in his mind.

Having combat power sealed doesn’t matter, after this fight, the high-levels of the Knight Order can’t possibly come for him in the short term.

Moreover, after entering the Nightless City, brute force is definitely the last resort.

The Radiation Zone has its own survival laws.

The Mechanical City has its own rules; it’s a place to use your brain.

Even as strong as the Level 60 Giant Kun, it has become someone else’s mount.

Players handle matters, and let players handle them when not in danger, that’s the normal way to go.

It’s just that the revival of the Crimson Empress’s will is quite troublesome.

My consciousness is only ’125’ points.

The so-called 100 for pure mechanical, 200 to operate as Gao Da, 300 to be a Shipgirl.

This is the requirement of the mechanical route.

To be able to resist the Empress’s consciousness invasion, even if it’s not piloting as Gao Da, it still requires an EVA level.

The protagonist’s mother helps him, which means things go back to where they came from.

Although my biological rejection can withstand a lot, it’s a bit risky.

Gao Gong suddenly turned his head, looking at the ’Banner’ not far away, and had an idea.

I’ll raise her child.

No, we’ll raise her together!
