Starting as a Mechanical Hunter

Chapter 132: Chapter 117: Biological Transformation

Gao Gong had some understanding.

So the Duke of Fission is a ’nuclear battery.’

This battery wasn’t prepared for them, but for the Crimson Empress.

No wonder this guy hardly made a move; when the battery runs out, there’s no power left?

Gao Gong walked to an instrument, familiarly opened the combination lock, and countless pieces of data spun rapidly in front of his eyes.

At the same time, on the outskirts of Scavenger City, amidst the raging radiation, one radiation sun after another lit up, and between these suns, high-concentration radiation power ignited everything like a sea of fire.

At the center of the sea of fire, there was first a point of black light, then it turned into white light, and the white light turned to gray.

The light grew bigger and bigger, until finally, a humanoid figure as large as a small mountain emerged.

It was the Duke of Fission.

His whole body exuded rolling magma, and wherever he passed, even mutant plants were quickly ignited, the enormous radiation rays spread to half the city, and the terrifying power made all radiation beasts feel fear.

And in the theater, the lights above suddenly made a ’buzzing’ sound.

For a moment, except for the instrument with a backup power source, all electrical devices went out simultaneously.

The dark environment did not affect the ’Complete Form’s’ vision.

In fact, quite the opposite, he was pondering how to strike the opponent fiercely.

According to the data, the Duke of Fission had two feared abilities, one naturally being a small nuclear explosion, and the other was to transform into radiation using the power of the Beast Tide for instant teleportation.

The range of the Beast Tide is the range of teleportation.

Imagine, an opponent with instant teleportation + a nuclear explosion, how many people could that take away?

Generally, when facing such a monster, Gao Gong had no solution.

However, this time was a bit of an exception.

The Complete Form’s gaze fell on the transformation pool, the Beast God General is an advanced biological product of biomechanical technology, and the liquid in the transformation pool serves a function similar to a radiation beast version of ’Bio-Fusion Armor,’ responsible for perfectly integrating ’energy’ and ’flesh.’

Actually, they had tried it once before, but the fusion was not perfect, and many biological parameters needed adjustment.

The Complete Form’s keen hearing had already picked up the sound of heavy footsteps.

The rapidly digested knowledge was perfecting the plan.

[You have obtained 100% of the Beast God General Data]

The next moment, the Complete Form strode into the pool, and at the same time, his body began to change, with water-tank thick ’alien insects’ squeezing out from the surface of his skin.

In the Complete Form, Gao Gong performed biological transformation—Alien Insect Form.

And almost simultaneously, on a flesh carpet covering a third of Scavenger City, a large number of neural networks began to appear.

A painful scream emanated from the faraway Crimson Empress.

At the same time, the Duke of Fission halted his footsteps.

The Crimson Empress is back?

The Duke of Fission was born for the Crimson Empress; they share the same gene module, and their relationship is akin to a simp and a goddess, which is why, even being A-level, he is so obedient.

It is precisely because of this rapid development that his wisdom is far inferior to a normal A-level.

As he watched the flesh carpet around him surge with massive waves and crazily rushed towards him, he quickly forgot about the ’enemy.’

This ’pleasure’ turned into ’pain.’

The Complete Form wasn’t really there to serve him; he had come to sabotage.

This method of sabotage was to force integration early, injecting the power of the Crimson Empress into its body without adjusting the biological parameters.

It’s similar to Ouyang Feng reverse practicing the Nine Yin Scripture.

The feeling was quite bittersweet.

Massive areas of the flesh carpet turned into flesh shoots, drilling wildly into the skin, absorbing the giant’s radiation power.

And the flesh spores that absorbed the power quickly surfaced into numerous bodies, with human faces struggling to break free from the flesh carpet, mouths opening and closing painfully in dark holes.

For a moment, it seemed as if the Duke of Fission’s outer surface had grown tens of thousands of faces.

These were the dead who fell under the Crimson Empress, ’revived’ by the power of the Duke of Fission.

The Duke of Fission finally reacted, and with an angry roar, a massive explosion erupted from him.

At the edge of the flesh carpet, a wet human figure appeared in human form and crawled out.

Handling such a huge power, especially the power of an A-level radiation beast, was overwhelming even for Gao Gong.

However, he had no intention of stopping to rest.

Four wings squeezed out from his back, flapping desperately towards the outside.

If he guessed correctly, it would soon ’light’ up here.

Sure enough, not long after, a strong light emerged from the lair of the Crimson Empress, illuminating half the sky.

It was as if Little Boy had landed on Hiroshima, with a mushroom cloud rising into the sky.

...

”That A-level monster won’t be blown to death, will it?”

The next day, upon hearing of Gao Gong’s great achievements, Huang Yuanli uncharacteristically did not argue, and her eyes sparkled with admiration.

”Death is unlikely; the life force of an A-level creature is terrifying, but for a short time, it probably won’t ’blow up’ again.”

”Are you sure?”

”Of course, can a battery that fell into water still be used,” Gao Gong pushed her away disdainfully, ”Go do your work, stop lingering around me.”

Listening to this sensational gossip, Huang Yuanli left satisfied, while Gao Gong turned around and smiled, saying, ”Thank you all for your hard work these days, which led to our achievement today.”

The ten or so people present remained silent.

To argue against it would be inappropriate; severely injuring an A-level Radiation Beast is something even Master Demon Mountain hasn’t accomplished. If this isn’t called a gain, then what is?

But thinking about the half month of living worse than death, some words just couldn’t be said.

A monster from Scavenger City landed in Petrol Town.

Oh no, the esteemed advisor has arrived today in his loyal Automobile City.

”So, does anyone really have nothing to say?”

Among those present, the lowest rank was a field-grade officer of the Security Corps, yet under Gao Gong’s aura, not one of them could muster a word.

Gao Gong looked at the three leaders, who were among the few unafraid of him.

The instructor of Split Tiger Squad 1 and 2, Colonel Kep.

The strongest of the Mad Butcher, Iron Madman.

The commander of the Shadow Team, Gao Shu.

These three were once confidants of Demon Mountain, also from the Mother City, and were level 30 elites.

Especially the Iron Madman in the middle, who gave Gao Gong a sense of a ’junior Demon Mountain.’

It’s worth mentioning that the original captain of Split Tiger Squad 2, an equal in rank to them, died under the siege of a B-level Radiation Beast.

So Kep took on the role of instructor for both Squad 1 and 2.

The elite forces left by Demon Mountain now numbered less than 20 people.

The rest had fallen in the Beast Tide.

In the end, it was old acquaintance Kep who spoke: ”Since we’ve severely injured that ’Duke of Fission,’ and another ’Crimson Empress’ has yet to return, isn’t now a good time for a counterattack?”

Gao Gong scanned the room, choosing not to provoke them further, and calmly said, ”There’s no need for now. We’ll handle the defense; you take the opportunity to rest.”

”The heads of the logistics department stay behind; the others can return for now and await further orders.”

Iron Madman was the first to stand and leave without a backward glance, and the rest slowly followed.

They had no other thoughts, just wanting to go back for a good sleep.

Gao Gong and the logistics department tallied the remaining forces.

Large Combat Robots, 22 units

Ordinary Combat Robots, 134 units

Combat Flying Devices: 44 units

Special Elites, 18 people

Ordinary Combatants, 3210 people, missing, 2210 people.

Weapons, various

Logistical materials, various

Gao Gong exhaled, closed the list, and told the heads of the logistics department, ”Proceed according to my plan.”

A supervisor mustered the courage to speak, ”Isn’t it too late to restart the Biological Factory for the production of Biological Soldiers?”

”Who said restarting the Biological Factory is necessarily for the production of Biological Soldiers,” Gao Gong retorted.

”Then—”

”Just do it!”

The supervisor immediately fell silent.

”Tsk, losing so much, even if it’s not an A-level Radiation Beast, a B-level attacking you might not withstand either.”

Gao Gong drummed his fingers on the table. The only consolation was that there were still plenty of military supplies, which he was organizing to transfer.

He didn’t intend to hold out in Automobile City; Demon Mountain worried about political implications, but he didn’t care.

If an oasis fell, what did it matter to him? His task was to withstand the Beast Tide.

Moreover, he believed that what he would unveil next would definitely satisfy those people.

Gao Gong opened the system panel, looking at the nearly 300,000 experience points. Without much hesitation, he upgraded [Biologist] to lv5.

[You triggered a career change task, Biological Tutor]

[Career Change Task: Biological Transformation]

Task Content:

1. Submit ten Biological Transformation Materials

2. Conduct three Biological Modifications

3. Submit a Biological Design Proposal

The first and third plans were simple: amidst the Beast Tide, biological materials were everywhere, and the ’Beast God General Data’ he had acquired was definitely a top-notch biological design proposal.

As for the second point.

He seemed to recall that several Biological Transformated Warriors were injured and probably wouldn’t mind having a few more parts added to their bodies.

Oh, right.

Gao Gong opened the Biological Transformation panel, and sure enough, there was a new prompt.

From the time he returned last night, he felt as if something else was in his body.

[You absorbed Beast God General Synthetic Liquid, gaining Body Separation Ability]

[You absorbed part of the ’Crimson Queen Cells,’ causing unknown changes within your body]

[You absorbed part of the ’Fission Duke Cells,’ causing unknown changes within your body]
