Apocalyptic Reincarnation: Start with a 30-million Bonus

A few minutes later.

Lao Yi ran in through the rain.

”Director Li, you called me.”

”What’s the situation with the zombies outside now?” Li Yu asked.

Lao Yi’s face showed some tension at the question. He replied, ”Not optimistic, the number of zombies keeps increasing. If we don’t use heavy weapons, we might not hold out for long.”

”Hmm, have you flown a helicopter in the rain before?” Li Yu asked.

Lao Yi raised his head with some confusion, not knowing why Li Yu was asking this question.

”Yes, this level of rain is no problem,” Lao Yi answered.

Li Yu was pleased and immediately said, ”I have a task for you. Later you’ll fly the helicopter and lure those zombies away.”

”But Director Li, the helicopter makes some noise, but it can only attract a portion of the zombies...” Lao Yi looked embarrassed.

Li Yu waved his hand and said, ”You don’t need to worry about that. I’ll have Li Tie go with you. You just need to lure the zombies as far away as possible. Once the fuel runs low, return immediately.”

Upon hearing this, Lao Yi glanced at the silver box on the table.

Suddenly he understood.

Although he was just an Outer City member, he had been at the Big Camphor Tree Base for a long time. He didn’t know much about the Zombie Attraction Potion, but he was aware there was a secret weapon at the base to deal with zombies.

As for the Zombie Attraction Potion, aside from the Jackals and a few others like Li Tie and Bai Jie from the research room, Li Yu had tried to keep it secret from everyone else.

Its power was too great.

”Any issues?” Li Yu asked him seriously.

”No issues, I’ll complete the mission,” Lao Yi said, eyes filled with resolve.

”Good, then go prepare, and leave once you’re ready.” Li Yu instructed.

”Alright.” Lao Yi nodded heavily and then left the RV.

Li Yu looked at Li Tie and said solemnly, ”Remember what I’m telling you now.

Soon, you and Yang Tianlong will board Lao Yi’s helicopter.

Once on the helicopter, have Lao Yi fly in low-altitude mode, then open the potion bottle, and remember to hold it steady so it doesn’t spill. The cap doesn’t need to be opened too wide to prevent spills.

See if you can attract the zombies. If they don’t follow, drop a drop on the ground to lure them.

If they do follow, have Lao Yi fly the helicopter far away to take the zombies away.

When the fuel is about to run out, have Lao Yi fly back and immediately seal the potion tightly.

Then bring the potion back.

Do you understand how to operate?”

Hearing this, Li Tie nodded, ”I understand. Just lure the zombies away but without dropping the potion. But, big brother, we’re not using the drone, right?”

”No need, the drone’s range is too short to lure them far.”

”Okay.”

.....

Soon, Yang Tianlong received the message and boarded the helicopter with Li Tie.

Lao Yi piloted the helicopter, flying beyond the temple.

Li Tie had Lao Yi hover at thirty meters above the ground, then popped open the Zombie Attraction Potion.

However, only a small portion of the zombies were attracted by the helicopter’s noise and followed; not many zombies came along.

”Why isn’t it working?” Li Tie was a bit puzzled.

A minute later.

The wind carried the potion’s scent into the air for the zombies to smell.

Roar! Roar! Roar!

The zombies outside the temple walls abandoned their siege of the temple and charged toward Li Tie and his group.

”Hey! It’s working! Captain Yi, fly slower and attract all these zombies over,” Li Tie told Lao Yi.

Lao Yi replied, ”Got it, Director Li told me to follow your lead, just tell me what to do.”

He glanced back at the small object in Li Tie’s hand and then at the maddened zombies on the ground, marveling at how something so small could attract zombies so effectively.

As they gradually led the zombies away from the temple, Third Uncle and co. returned from the Myanmar Fraud Group, already not far from the temple.
