I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 280: SVOP: Chapter 280

Vladimir opened his eyes and looked down at the crowd.

”I am the Holy Archangel, a devout believer. What business do you have?”

”I am the Holy Archangel, a devout believer. What business do you have?”

Vladimir slowly opened his eyes. Instantly, holy light erupted, and his six wings spread, as if a true angel had descended.

This was not his true form, merely an illusion manifested using a trace of holy light.

Aljella was overjoyed, his expression becoming even more devout and fanatical.

”Holy Archangel, a month ago, you revealed the location of Heaven and told me how to atone for my sins. During this time, I have been following your instructions, searching for Devil Fruits everywhere, and I finally found one. I didn’t expect this guy to try and snatch it!”

Hearing this, the knight frowned, and a displeased voice came from under his helmet. ”Hmph, you pirates clearly stole it from our Divine Kingdom!”

”Divine Kingdom my ass!” Aljella roared in anger, shouting, ”A mere human kingdom dares to call itself a Divine Kingdom! I only went to the Sky Island to see your so-called Divine Kingdom because I believed the rumors, but it’s all fake!”

Saying this, he clasped his hands together again, and said with pity, ”Archangel, this person has blasphemed against the divine. Please take action and save this lost lamb.”

Do you think I’m omnipotent?!

Vladimir muttered inwardly. He was currently in the starting seas of the New World, an unknown distance away. Transmitting power from afar was currently impossible. Perhaps a five-star Archangel could try, but he was only three-star now. Manifesting an illusion with a trace of holy light was already quite good.

Thinking this, he secretly thought, ”Does this guy not know that the Archangel is a Dominator-level executive of the Phantom Organization?”

The Phantom Organization’s Knight King had annihilated the Holy Church Pirates’ captain, ”God” Merdian.

And the Archangel was a Dominator-level executive of the Phantom Organization. If Aljella already knew, he probably wouldn’t be so devout, but would instead be considering how to avenge his captain.

”This knight doesn’t know either. It’s been more than half a month since the battle on Whole Cake Island, and the news still hasn’t reached the Sky Island.”

Vladimir thought for a moment, then put on a solemn and sacred expression. ”Lost one, the Devil Fruit is the power of demons. Eating a Devil Fruit means your soul will become a sacrifice to the demons after death, eternally sinking.”

He paused, then continued to deceive with compassion. ”Don’t bother trying to get it back. Such an evil object is best left to me to purify.”

Hearing this, the silver-armored knight on the dragon’s back straightened up, slowly retracted his spear, and said, ”Angel, this Devil Fruit is an item of the Divine Kingdom. These pirates plundered it extensively in the Divine Kingdom, killing many knights. Even if I don’t want the Devil Fruit, I must capture them and bring them back to be judged by the ’Heavenly God’.”

”Heavenly God?”

Vladimir was stunned for a moment, then realized the other party was likely referring to the king of the Divine Kingdom.

However, a mere king daring to call himself a Heavenly God was even more shameless than him!

Thinking this, Vladimir flicked his finger, sending out a stream of holy light that quickly merged into the knight’s body.

”What did you do to me?” the knight trembled, feeling a strange power within him.

”Just making a marker,” Vladimir said calmly. ”Aljella, wanton killing is wrong. You should obediently surrender. When I have time, I will naturally come to redeem you.”

With that, Vladimir’s figure flickered and instantly vanished into nothingness.

He didn’t care about Aljella’s life or death. However, he found the Divine Kingdom on Sky Island quite interesting, and it also had Devil Fruits. When he had time, he would definitely go and see it.

°As he left, Aljella was stunned.

No, even the knight was stunned. Did this angel just abandon his believer? He had already prepared himself for a great battle.

After a while, both sides recovered.

The knight immediately snorted coldly and said, ”It seems the Angel understands reason. You erred first, so obediently return to the Divine Kingdom with me to accept judgment!”

Saying this, he suddenly thrust his spear.

With this thrust, he unleashed a piercing attack from a distance, instantly piercing the pirate ship.

”Ah, Archangel!” Aljella continued his prayer, his face filled with sorrow. ”Is this my punishment?!”

At the same time, in the New World, high above the starting seas.

Vladimir opened his eyes, rubbed his nose, and muttered somewhat sheepishly, ”What happens to you is none of my business. Just one Devil Fruit, and you expect me to travel a long distance to save you?”

If Aljella had managed to snatch three or five Devil Fruits, Vladimir might have rerouted to collect them first. But with just one, and at such a distance, he was too lazy to turn back.

In contrast, the knight’s strength was not bad, which made Vladimir curious about the so-called Sky Island Divine Kingdom.

”Forget it, let’s go to Marine Headquarters to collect my reward first.”

Shaking his head, Vladimir temporarily put the matter aside. With a flap of his wings, he entered a state of super-high-speed flight.

...

In the first half of the Grand Line, at Marine Headquarters, Marineford.

In a top-level conference room in the headquarters building, a group of high-ranking Marines were in discussion.

Sengoku was not in good spirits, but his expression was very serious.

”The Fearful Great Demon King is real! He awakened once thirty thousand years ago, and this time he has awakened with the goal of destroying the world!”

Sengoku spoke in a deep voice, his eyes flickering. ”This is a more important objective than the Phantom Organization, more important than the Three Emperors!”

The Marines below exchanged glances, all speechless.

Thirty thousand years ago? Who knows about the history of thirty thousand years ago. Even the history of eight hundred years ago has blank periods. Thirty thousand years ago, that was a myth.

”The Fleet Admiral has gone mad recently.”

”Yeah, I heard he had a nightmare a while ago, and ever since then, he’s been muttering about some Fearful Great Demon King every day!”

”He even had the government’s intelligence organization investigate myths, legends, and biographies, trying to find information on the Fearful Great Demon King...”

Whispers filled the conference room.

Sengoku’s face turned ashen. Why wouldn’t these idiots believe him?

”The Fearful Great Demon King is real! Don’t doubt it, I saw it with my own eyes!” Sengoku said angrily again.

This time, even Vice Admiral Tsuru, who was beside him, had a strange expression. She coughed lightly and whispered, ”Sengoku, you’ve been under too much stress lately. You should rest properly.”

She was being polite. Garp, on the other hand, laughed heartily.

”Hahaha, Sengoku, you’ve gone senile!” he laughed unreservedly, munching on a senbei. ”Maybe you’re sick. I suggest you see a doctor.”

”Garp, you scoundrel! Shut up!” Sengoku roared in anger. Why were all his subordinates such idiots?

”Cough cough...” Vice Admiral Tsuru straightened her expression and said, ”Let’s report on recent missions first.”
