I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 256: SVOP: Chapter 256

In the New World, in the Whitebeard Pirates’ territory, on the deck of the Moby Dick.

Whitebeard listened to his subordinates’ report, his expression also very grim.

”...That’s roughly the whole process,” Marco said in a low voice. ”The one who acted called himself ’Archangel,’ one of the three top executives of the Phantom Pirates. The ability he used was a type of holy light.”

Even he couldn’t obtain overly specific details, but he could grasp the general situation, such as this special power of holy light.

”So, that means the holy light clouds that enveloped half the world some time ago were because of this person?”

Whitebeard nodded, then suddenly laughed. ”Gurararara... To think they would team up with the Navy. Truly unexpected.”

”Old man!” Diamond Jozu couldn’t help but say, ”What if the Phantom Organization and the Navy join forces and target us, the Whitebeard Pirates, next? The situation would become tricky. Should we... take some measures?”

If it were just the Navy, their Whitebeard Pirates wouldn’t be afraid. But with the addition of the Phantom Organization, it would be a different story.

”No need to worry. The two sides are just playing along, each getting what they need. There’s likely some deal between them.”

Whitebeard laughed heartily. ”Sengoku has miscalculated this time. He wants to use the Phantom Organization’s reputation to pacify the rebellious Big Mom Pirates’ territory. Indeed, with this major event, the Big Mom territory will be temporarily stable. But with the leader gone from the chaotic seas, it will likely become even more chaotic.”

”Let it be chaotic. It won’t affect us anyway,” another executive said indifferently.

This was Thatch, the captain of the Fourth Division.

Behind Thatch, however, a burly, ugly man with thick hair had a darkened expression.

This person’s name was Blackbeard.

”All three major forces wiped out?” he suddenly asked in a low voice, ”Captain Thatch.” ℯℯ𝘭.

”Hmm?”

Thatch was a straightforward man with a pompadour hairstyle. Hearing his subordinate’s question, he didn’t think much of it and directly replied, ”Not completely wiped out. The captain and vice-captain of the Lance Pirates escaped. They managed to save some face.”

”What about the Unicorns?” Blackbeard asked again.

”The captain of the Unicorn Pirates, Andy Poland, was arrested and is likely being escorted to the Deep Sea Prison. The vice-captain, Andy’s sister, seems to have escaped. There were a few other lucky ones, but they’re insignificant.”

Upon hearing the words ”Andy’s sister,” Blackbeard’s eyes flickered. He said aloud, ”The Navy won this round, but they wouldn’t dare provoke us, the Whitebeard Pirates.”

At the same time, he was muttering a name in his heart: ”Nini Poland...!”

...

Various forces around the world reacted differently upon learning the intelligence from the battle on Cake Island.

This incident revealed two pieces of information.

First, the Big Mom Pirates were destroyed by Vladimir Emperor of the Phantom Organization.

Second, the Phantom Pirates have three top executives, each possessing a combat power equivalent to that of an Emperor.

Neither of these was good news for others.

They had thought that with Big Mom missing, there would be an opportunity to contend for the title of a new Emperor. But in the face of ”One Emperor,” no one dared to extend their claws again.

Almost no one had seen Vladimir Emperor, but his reputation was like a great mountain, suppressing the New World and making people hesitant to attack the Big Mom territory.

And as various factions were contemplating this, in the New World, on Mystoria, one of the starting islands.

On the top floor of a cathedral-like building, the base of the Donquixote Family.

In a reception room, Vladimir sat on a sofa, legs crossed, quietly waiting.

A week had passed since the battle on Cake Island. After his mandatory transformation period ended, Vladimir had come here in his Nine-Tailed Fox form.

At this moment, he sat on the sofa, facing two of the four top executives of the Donquixote Pirates.

The Spade Army’s top executive, Trebol, a slovenly man wearing a quilt-like cloak, holding a cane with a spade symbol, and a pair of small sunglasses.

The other was the Club Army’s top executive, Pica, a user of the Stone-Stone Fruit, clad in armor, wearing a cross-shaped helmet, and an incredibly tall, burly man.

Looking at the two, Vladimir said impatiently, ”Has Doflamingo not returned yet?”

”Buhahaha... Nine-Tails, Doffy is dealing with the matter of our intelligence agency being targeted.” Trebol’s voice was high-pitched and weak, with a runny nose, making him look slovenly.

”Call me ’Ninth Master’,”

Vladimir snorted. ”He said he’d be here today, making Ninth Master wait for him. Is he tired of living?”

As he spoke, a laugh was heard.

”Fufufu... My apologies, I was slightly delayed by a matter.”

Bang!

The door was pushed open, and Doflamingo entered with his characteristic swagger.

”The great pirate Lance retaliated against my intelligence agency, destroying several of our strongholds in the Chaotic Sea...”

As soon as he entered, he explained, ”Their actions were swift, and I couldn’t catch their trail, so I had to come back.”

”What does that have to do with me?” Vladimir raised an eyebrow.

”Fufufu, don’t say that. This matter actually concerns you.” Doflamingo chuckled twice. ”These past few days, I’ve discovered a few interesting things through my intelligence network.”

”Speak.”

”First, the Lance Pirates are still holding a grudge against the dark organization that sold them false intelligence. They are secretly retaliating while also investigating the Phantom Organization. Your Shadow Fiend has been running around everywhere recently, and they’ve been following, seemingly trying to use Shadow Fiend as a breakthrough.”

A few days ago, right after Vladimir upgraded Shadow Fiend, he had been constantly familiarizing himself with the new abilities. In one day, he had visited at least a hundred places. Naturally, it wasn’t strange for intelligence to leak.

”I’m not interested in such trivial matters, Ninth Master,” Vladimir waved his hand. ”I came to you to ask about one thing.”

”Hmm?”

”The vice-captain of the Unicorn Pirates, Nini Poland.” Vladimir said calmly, ”Where is she now?”

”This matter is the second thing I wanted to tell you.”

Doflamingo grinned. ”Her Toy-Toy Fruit has six rather peculiar toy forms: a large bear, a large dog, a large bird, a small mouse, a small chick, and a final form that even I don’t know about.”

He paused, then added, ”Among these six forms, the small mouse refers to the ’Treasure-Hunting Mouse.’ This ability must be very attractive to you.”

Treasure-Hunting Mouse—Vladimir had only recently learned about this. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have ignored Nini Poland back then. If he had known about such a person, he would have captured her first.

With the ”Treasure-Hunting Mouse” from the Toy-Toy Fruit, finding Devil Fruits would be incredibly convenient.

”Do you have information on her?” Vladimir asked.
