I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 258: SVOP: Chapter 258

Shaking his head, Vladimir put away the pocket watch, then closed his eyes and dozed off.

...

The next morning, early.

Doflamingo burst into the room, his face full of surprise.

”Nine-Tails, I have intelligence!”

Vladimir, sitting on a meditation cushion, slowly opened his eyes upon hearing this.

”Call me ’Ninth Master’,” he said unhurriedly.

”It’s a major event!” Doflamingo showed a rare look of seriousness. ”Your guess was off. No, not just you; no one expected this!”

”What intelligence?” Vladimir raised an eyebrow, still very calm.

”Andy Poland has disappeared.”

Doflamingo took a deep breath and said, ”I have an informant within the Navy. The outside world doesn’t know this yet. The prison ship hasn’t even left the New World’s waters, and Andy Poland, who was imprisoned on board, has mysteriously vanished!”

There were no signs of a struggle, and the guarding Marines detected no abnormalities. They only discovered the cell was empty when they went to deliver food in the morning.

Hearing this, Vladimir couldn’t help but pause. ”Blackbeard did it? Doesn’t seem like it!”

If Blackbeard had this ability, he wouldn’t need to make such a grand effort to recruit subordinates from the Deep Sea Prison in the future.

As he was thinking, a ”puru puru” sound suddenly rang out.

Vladimir took a Den Den Mushi from his pocket and calmly answered the call.

”Did you do it?! Phantom Organization!!”

As soon as the call connected, Sengoku’s roar came from the other end.

”What’s it to me?!”

Vladimir snorted lightly and said, ”If Ninth Master wanted to intercept someone, I would have simply sunk your prison ship openly.”

”Besides you, who else in the world could do this?” Sengoku said furiously, but his reason remained. ”No, how did you know? This matter was only confirmed a short while ago! Nine-Tailed Fox, tell your Vladimir Emperor to explain this to me!”

”The captain is busy and has no time for you! You yourselves are too incompetent to even manage an escort properly. Don’t think you can get away with this; otherwise, Ninth Master will come and dismantle your headquarters!”

Vladimir couldn’t be bothered to explain and hung up directly.

However, after hanging up, he couldn’t help but wonder. Who else besides Blackbeard could have the ability to rescue someone so stealthily?

”Some kind of Paramecia user with space-related abilities? The Door-Door Fruit could potentially do it, but the user of the Door-Door Fruit is someone from the Navy’s intelligence organization. Or perhaps some other similar ability?”

Vladimir thought for a moment, then suddenly stood up and walked to the window.

”Doflamingo, I need to attend to something. Continue to keep a close watch, and report to me if anything happens.”

As soon as he finished speaking, Vladimir’s body flashed with his fox attire, and then with a leap, he jumped out the window, disappearing in an instant.

Andy being rescued had nothing to do with him, and he didn’t care.

However, with this incident, Blackbeard wouldn’t make a move. Then, he would have to find another way to find Nini Poland.

”It’ll take a bit of effort, but I’ll just have Shadow Fiend find Blackbeard.”

With a few flashes, Vladimir left the town and hid in a dense forest.

Then, with a transformation, he became Shadow Fiend.

The next moment, Black Sky descended, plunging the entire world into darkness.

”Blackbeard, Marshall D. Teach, age 29, outwardly burly and strong, with an ugly appearance...”

His consciousness immersed into the ”Star Map,” Vladimir’s gaze swept across the countless stars, examining them one by one, continuously searching for his target.

This search took a full five to six hours before he finally found the star representing Blackbeard.

This was only because Blackbeard’s star was relatively bright; otherwise, it would have been truly difficult.

”Found him!”

With a slight smile, Vladimir’s consciousness approached, and a dizzying sensation followed.

When he opened his eyes again, he was already behind Blackbeard.

”Found him!”

Vladimir smiled slightly, his consciousness immediately approaching the star representing Blackbeard, and a slight dizziness ensued.

Heaven and earth shifted. When he opened his eyes again, Vladimir appeared behind Blackbeard.

This was a medium-sized restaurant, with only a few patrons scattered around. Blackbeard sat at the bar, devouring a bowl of fried rice.

”What’s with the sky today? It turned dark a few days ago, and now it’s dark again?”

”Who knows? It’s been like this for five or six hours already.”

”Could it be some ability user? Or is the sun about to explode? Is it the end of the world?”

Several diners chatted with each other across their tables, their voices full of curiosity.

At this moment, the door was wide open, and darkness lay outside, with only specks of starlight illuminating the scene.

These people only knew that it was dark, but they didn’t know that the entire world had simultaneously fallen into night.

This kind of intelligence was known to very few people, except for the Navy, whose bases were spread across the four seas.

Even Blackbeard was unaware. At this moment, he finished a large bowl of fried rice in a few bites and then shouted to the waiter.

”Give me another bowl!”

Hearing this, the young waiter glanced at the stack of empty bowls beside him, his mood becoming subtle.

”You’ve already eaten 10 large bowls. Do you really have the money to pay?”
