I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 248: SVOP: Chapter 248

Just as her words finished, only two or three seconds later, the other person had already flown to the ship’s bow, six wings spread wide, exuding immense pressure.

Seeing this, a group of marines felt like they were facing a great enemy.

Vladimir’s gaze swept over, finally settling on Sengoku. ”The agreed matter has been completed. What about the reward?”

”Do you think I carry six Devil Fruits with me everywhere?” Sengoku said solemnly. ”Once we finish handling things here, I’ll wait for you at Marine Headquarters to collect it!”

”Hahaha... No problem,” Vladimir grinned. ”And, your Navy only allows capturing people. All the items left on the battlefield belong to us, the Phantom Organization. Currently, Doflamingo is cleaning up the battlefield. You’re not to interfere until he’s finished.”

In the previous agreement between the Phantom Organization and the Navy, there was an additional clause: all the strength of the pirates annihilated by the Phantom Organization, and everything they obtained, belonged to the Phantom Organization.

Vladimir himself was too lazy to do the cleanup, so he directly let Doflamingo handle such chores.

Hearing this, Sengoku’s expression changed. He asked, ”Doflamingo... he’s also considered a member of the Phantom Organization?”

”No... he’s not qualified yet, at least not for now,” Vladimir waved dismissively. ”In any case, remember what I said. If you breach the contract, I’ll be happy to cause a big fuss at Marine Headquarters.”

After speaking, Vladimir flickered and vanished into the distance.

The Archangel flew at full speed, incredibly fast—within a blink of an eye, his figure disappeared on the horizon.

”Another big trouble!”

Vice Admiral Tsuru looked pained. ”Where does the Phantom Organization keep recruiting experts? This is another Four Emperors-level officer!”

”...First, stabilize them!” Sengoku said in a deep voice.

”Keep going like this, and they’ll only get stronger,” Vice Admiral Tsuru said in a voice only two people could hear. ”You should be able to guess the purpose of their collecting Devil Fruits, right?”

”I have an idea,” Sengoku clenched his teeth, his tone somewhat helpless.

Such large-scale collection of Devil Fruits wasn’t to build a capable army, but to unlock the seals.

Among the members inside the Phantom Organization, there are probably even more experts. The more Devil Fruits they obtain, the faster their overall strength expands.

Although he could guess some, Sengoku dared not recklessly renege on the deal.

”It looks like I need to speed up acquiring the ’King of the Underworld’!”

Thinking of this, Sengoku made a decision.

Not long after, in a certain sea area of the New World.

Vladimir lifted his transformation into the Archangel, turned into a Sea King, and swam freely in the ocean.

After a fierce battle, the Archangel’s holy power consumption was significant, and he needed to rest and recover.

The continuous flight consumed a lot of energy. In comparison, swimming as a Sea King in the sea consumed very little.

He slowly headed toward the Red Soil Continent. Suddenly, Vladimir sensed the fluctuations of the ocean currents and focused his gaze ahead.

He saw a ship’s silhouette in the distance on the sea surface.

He squinted slightly, barely able to make out the shape. The large ship was flying a red sail, and the flag printed on it was an old acquaintance.

”Again, it’s them...” Vladimir opened his mouth in disbelief. ”The world is so big, how come I run into them so casually?”

As he detected the other party, the people on that ship also noticed Vladimir’s presence.

The Sea King’s body was enormous—just a head protruding was enough to be easily seen with a distant-viewing mirror.

Sure enough, the large ship was heading toward Vladimir’s position, and it had already intercepted in front of him.

Before long, they were approaching within a few dozen meters.

On the deck of the pirate ship, a group of women stood gracefully, while the Empress Boa Hancock’s beautiful eyes flickered, staring fixedly.

”I found you!” the Empress gritted her teeth. ”You stupid dragon, where are you trying to run this time?”

Hearing this, Vladimir was speechless for a moment, then said after a pause, ”What a coincidence, little Empress... But, as the Queen of the Amazon Lily, why aren’t you governing your country and instead chasing after me all over the world? By the way, how do you know I’m here?”

”Hmph! My intuition!”

The Empress snorted softly. ”Recently, a rumor has been circulating in the dark world: the related information of the Great Treasure is hidden on Cake Island. This kind of news is definitely fake, deliberately leaked by someone. The only force capable of doing this is your Phantom Organization, no one else.”

Her intuition was surprisingly accurate... Vladimir shook his head, about to say something, but suddenly looked up at the sky.

”You stupid dragon! This time, I absolutely won’t let you run...”

The Empress scolded softly, but halfway through her words, her brow furrowed, and her beautiful eyes looked toward the sky.

Above, a huge ship was slowly flying over.

”Heh heh heh... No Archangel, but I’ve found another leader of the Phantom Organization!”

The flying ship’s prow slowly descended, and a golden lion floated down gracefully.

Behind it, on a floating wooden plank, several pirates stood quietly. One of them, Vladimir recognized—Darros, with a bounty of 300 million.

Not long ago, he had just arrived at Cake Island as the Archangel and encountered this man.

”Shiki,” Vladimir raised an eyebrow and looked at the visitor.

The Empress beside him looked surprised. ”The legendary great pirate...”

She gazed at him with a hostile expression. The Sea King was something she had spent great effort to find, and she would never allow anyone else to interfere.

”Sea King!” The Golden Lion Pirates floated into the air and said loudly, ”I want to see your captain.”

”Do you dare look down on me too?”

Vladimir snorted coldly. Instantly, a dragon’s might radiated from him.

”Get down here!”

Boom!!

Suddenly, including several officers, Shiki and others all felt a ringing in their ears. A huge dragon’s might pressed down on them, as if an invisible giant hand slapped them from the sky.
