I Became the Strongest Villain in One Piece

Chapter 222: SVOP: Chapter 222

Doflamingo was startled and suspicious, and suddenly seemed to remember something, exclaiming, ”Eight days ago, that miracle that swept across half the world... was you!?”

Eight days ago, a cloud of holy light enveloped half the planet, and at that time, a huge, towering angel shadow had appeared for a period of time.

Associating it with the mystery of the Phantom, Doflamingo immediately felt that this matter was related to the Phantom.

Vladimir didn’t deny it, but he wasn’t interested in getting hung up on this kind of thing, and said directly, ”I asked you to come here to prepare to start the ’Ability User Hunting Plan’.”

”Hmm?”

Doflamingo was stunned, and asked, ”Not suppression? Hunting ability users, are you going to plunder their abilities?”

”That’s right.” Vladimir nodded, ”I need you to use ’Birdcage’ to seal off the entire Cake Island. The specific plan is like this...”

Then, Vladimir briefly explained the plan of action.

First, the Birdcage would seal off the entire Cake Island. At this time, the trapped pirate crews would definitely be in chaos. They were already hostile to each other, and in this situation, chaos would definitely occur.

Secondly, they would create a fake ”Red Stone,” that is, the Red Poneglyph. There were four of these things, and each one recorded a coordinate.

After collecting the four coordinates, marking them on the map, and connecting the lines, the central location would be the legendary end of the Grand Line 570—Laugh Tale, the legendary place that only the Pirate King Roger had reached.

All the pirates on the island came for this thing. Once it appeared, it would definitely cause a frenzy of competition.

”In short, let them fight first, and we’ll take advantage of the chaos to hunt some abilities. When it’s almost time, I’ll personally take action to suppress them.”

After Vladimir finished speaking, he saw Doflamingo looking surprised, ”What’s wrong?”

”How do you know about ’Birdcage’!” Doflamingo said incredulously, ”I researched this move, and haven’t used it yet... no, I’ve only used it once, and there were definitely no survivors at that time!”

”Don’t use your wisdom to speculate about me.” Vladimir said calmly, ”If there are no problems, just execute according to this plan.”

”No, no, no, there are problems. Three problems.”

Doflamingo had a headache, feeling that in front of them, he had no secrets at all.

However, he would put that aside for now, and raised objections to the plan.

”Say it.”

”The first problem is that the Birdcage can’t cover the entire Cake Island, at most a city. If you give me a year to practice, I might be able to improve to the point where I can seal off the entire island as you said.”

”Is that so? That’s really useless.” Vladimir frowned slightly, thinking about how to modify the plan.

Hearing this, Doflamingo was so angry that he almost vomited blood. His move could seal off a city, which was about one-fifth of Cake Island. It was already very strong!

”Since that’s the case, then let’s think of a way to gather the pirates together.”

Vladimir said, ”Using the Red Stone, I’ll have the Lich King come out, freeze the Red Stone, and then put it in a place for the pirates to discover, and finally attract everyone to come over.”

”That’s feasible, although there will be some fish that slip through the net, most of them should come to compete.”

Doflamingo nodded, agreeing with this approach.

”What’s the second problem?”

”The second... the Birdcage is formed by countless threads, a huge arc-shaped birdcage, and there are gaps. Small children can carefully pass through, and secondly, Logia-type ability users can easily escape, and again, some Paramecia-types with transformation abilities can also escape.”

Hearing this, Vladimir was speechless, and couldn’t help but look at him with contempt.

Only he could happily take this kind of move with loopholes everywhere and use it as a big move.

In response, Doflamingo’s eyelids twitched, and he said with a dry laugh, ”Actually, you can have the Lich King cover the Birdcage with a layer of ice, so you can barely seal everyone inside, regardless of whether they’re Logia-types or not.”

”Then what do I need your Birdcage for?” Vladimir stared at the other party, and had to say, ”It doesn’t matter, just seal off most of the people. As for the rest, I’ll deal with them later.”

”Okay, then the third problem is also the most fatal.”

Doflamingo took a deep breath, a little afraid of angering the other party.

”Stop talking nonsense, and say it quickly.”

”The Birdcage can only be maintained for 1 hour, and then it will gradually shrink towards the center, slowly cutting the people inside to death, taking about half a day in total.”

”Half a day...” Vladimir pondered for a moment, and then said, ”That’s enough!”

”Enough?”

Doflamingo was stunned.

There were at least 20,000 pirates on the island. Even if they were 20,000 pigs, they might not be killed in half a day.

However, he didn’t object either. If Vladimir said it was enough, then that was best.

”In that case, let’s take action tomorrow morning!” Vladimir said softly, ”Tonight, let’s prepare first, so that a certain lucky pirate can ’discover’ the existence of the Red Stone.”

”Fufufu... you don’t need a certain lucky pirate, I can arrange for people.”

Doflamingo finally regained a little confidence, and laughed, ”Actually, I have undercover agents in several pirate crews!”

Hearing this, Vladimir’s eyes lit up, and he praised, ”You’re finally a little useful, otherwise we Phantoms would have to consider whether to change partners.”

Doflamingo’s smile stiffened, feeling helpless in his heart. Cooperating with this group of monsters was really not pleasant, but the gains were still great. This time, he had earned nearly 5 billion just by selling fake information.

”Then let’s start the operation.”

...

That night, late at night.

In the center of Cake Island, the location where the Unicorn Pirates were entrenched.

On the previously solid iceberg, a crack had opened in the lower part of the mountain. After entering through this crack, one would reach a spacious cave. Inside the cave, a red Poneglyph was frozen.

The Lich King slowly retracted his palm, and looked sideways at Vladimir, and said, ”That’s it. Unless a Yonko-level expert uses brute force to break it, ordinary people can’t move it.”

”Hmm.” Vladimir nodded.

”Vladimir, I’ll leave this place to you. I have other tasks.”

The Lich King left a sentence, and then turned into a ray of crystal light and disappeared, and finally merged into Vladimir’s body.

Doflamingo couldn’t help but sigh, ”Your summoning ability is really convenient. Do you have space-type ability users inside you?”

Any member of the Phantom had the ability to summon other executives from a distance. Doflamingo certainly knew this information.

He also recognized the Lich King, who had previously joined forces to attack the underwater great prison.

Therefore, he couldn’t imagine that these two were actually singing a duet, and were basically the same person.

Vladimir remained unmoved, ”Don’t inquire about the Phantom’s information. If you break the taboo, someone will come to kill you. Let’s go, arrange for your undercover agents to start spreading the word tomorrow morning.”

”Fufufu... no problem.”

Doflamingo followed Vladimir, and slowly left the cave, ”Actually, Vladimir, I want to ask, how can I join your Phantom? What are the conditions?”
